Job description

Project Manager - Caring Services - Wales
Salary - £31, 578 - £35,000 pro rata
Hours: 21 - 28 hours per week depending on start date
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2022 (with potential for extension depending on funding)
Based: Home based with travel across Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan
Closing date: 25th October 2021

About the role:

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead on the Dementia Friendly Communities (DFC) project to support and further develop a regional approach to DFC across the Cardiff and the Vale, for the benefit of people affected by dementia and their carers.

The post holder will:
- Work with Dementia Friendly Communities Co-ordinators to develop and maintain a detailed project plan including setting key milestones and outcome criteria
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as necessary
- Agree governance arrangements and produce stakeholder's analysis
- Facilitate and manage project group meetings, including circulation of project minutes and papers
- Support the use of a variety of methods such as: Interviews, focus groups, surveys and questionnaires to gather feedback.
- Review and guide strategic direction of the project to ensure specified outcomes are met
What we are looking for:
- Strong project management skills, including a logical, practical and structured approach to delivering key milestones
- Effective stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Ability to manage Marie Curie's relationship with strategic partners, businesses, organisations and trade bodies
- Experience of evaluation and performance monitoring, including reporting against agreed outcome measures
- Experience of delivering project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
