Job description

NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER, TRANSITIONS SOUTH, FRWK03 £16,296 - £17,811 (PLUS 7.5% ENHANCEMENT FOR HOURS WORKED BETWEEN 10 PM AND 7 AM), PERMANENT, 37 HPW

A vacancy has arisen in our service for young people in Gedling.  We want to recruit a night worker specifically to support teenage mothers and their babies.  Successful applicants will join a friendly team who strive to empower young people and assist them to build on their skills and confidence.

The successful applicants will:

• Support young mothers during the hours of 4.30pm and 4am, on a rota of 4 nights on and 4 off.

 • Ensure that the building and its occupants are safe and secure

•Provide and receive comprehensive handovers to and from the day team

•Have an understanding of safeguarding and the needs of young people and babies

•Be able to build rapport easily with the young mothers

•Be able to keep accurate records on a computerised system
