Job description


Beneficiaries of Opportunity Nottingham experience a combination of the following complex needs - homelessness, offending, domestic violence, substance misuse and mental ill health. A successful applicant for the Beneficiary Ambassador role must have some personal lived experience of at least one of these issues.

A Beneficiary Ambassador’s role is to encourage, facilitate and promote meaningful beneficiary (service user) participation in the Opportunity Nottingham project and ensure all project developments (both local and national) take into account the voice of lived experience.

They also represent the lived experience of beneficiaries with multiple complex needs at an operational and strategic level within the Opportunity Nottingham programme, in order to address the aims of the national Fulfilling Lives Programme and the local system change plan.
