Summary
You will plan, create and coordinate clear, relevant communications that drive engagement with the new package of support for clergy around financial wellbeing. This will include supporting engagement with clergy and diocesan partners, and encouraging take up of events, tools and products. You will be responsible for creating/maintain great online content, promoting planned events, producing accessible written materials, and designing relevant and targeted communication campaigns working as part of an integrated team with other Pensions Board functions. This role will involve building and managing relationships with diocesan communications teams, other Communication specialists within the National Church, and external suppliers to deliver timely, consistent and measurable communications across digital and offline channels.
Content Management and Editorial Standards
- Curate, design, maintain and update the content of our new financial wellbeing portal.
- Devising and delivering creative ideas for digital, audience-focused content e.g. event videos, case studies etc - incorporating recording, editing, audio content etc - to support newsletters, emails and portal development.
- Work within and continue to evolve our tone of voice guidelines, to ensure our communications are in plain English, accessibly and relevant to our audiences.
- Curate resource packs and how-to guides
- Uphold editorial standards, quality control, version control, and approval workflows
Planning and Delivery
- Work as part of a wider Pensions Board network focused on integrated communications planning.
- Working with senior leaders, to design and execute targeted and long-term communications campaigns to deliver strategic goals.
- Coordinate our email and newsletter activity, working with other teams to get consistency of message across other channels (e.g. through social media or into Church/diocesan networks).
Support product pilots, service launches, and local events.
Materials Production and Supplier Oversight
- Draft written materials: emails, guides, briefs, articles
- Commission and manage supplier-produced collateral
- Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and template libraries
Stakeholder Engagement and Event Support
- Collaborate with Pensions and Housing colleagues to help align messaging to different customer groups.
- Support senior leaders with internal team updates.
- Act as the main communications contact for the service, working with diocesan communication teams, the NCI comms team, and existing/potential service partners.
- Collaborate with our Events Coordinator on promotional and post-event materials
Insight, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement
- Use data to segment audiences, test messaging, and measure impact
- Monitor performance metrics and report on campaign outcomes
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations in our communication approach.
- Support the Board's Safeguarding policy and procedures
- Embed best practices: editorial calendars, A/B testing, and single-source content governance
- A salary of £48,557 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days within 5 years) plus eight bank holidays and three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

The role
People living with migraine are at the heart of our organisation, while our research highlights the urgent need to reduce the inequity we see for those living with the condition. You will ensure their voices are heard by decision makers and the public and get closer to our vison of ‘a world where migraine doesn’t stop anyone from living the life they want’.
You should be able to deliver high-impact communication campaigns, and have a real interest in policy. A skilled communicator yourself, you will be able to manage a broad role with the ability to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll work closely with the CEO and be a key member of The Migraine Trust’s Senior Management team, leading our strategic direction on communications activity alongside targeted public and political campaigns.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the organisation’s 2026 policy and communications plans and coordinate the development of plans and budgets for 2027
- Oversee development and delivery of the charity’s policy and public affairs strategy, ensuring a strong evidence base and meaningful involvement of people living with migraine
- Manage work our public affairs agency to deliver targeted influencing projects to improve migraine care, workplace support, and parliamentary engagement
- Shape policy recommendations and develop strategies to engage key stakeholders including parliamentarians, policymakers, clinicians, employers and partner organisations
- Monitor the external policy environment identifying risks, opportunities and emerging issues relevant to migraine
- Work with the team to develop and execute creative and impactful communications campaigns to raise the profile of the charity and tackle misunderstanding around migraine
- Ensure content across all channels – including media, digital, social and publications - is on brand and reflects our values and core messaging

The Role
We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.
This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Key Responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
- Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.
- Ensure exceptional record keeping, ensuring that all relevant data protection and privacy legislation is adhered to.
- Undertake administrative duties to support the delivery of the service, including data entry.
- Have regular peer supervision with their job-share.
Collaboration:
- Work with the Support Team, wider staff, and external stakeholders to identify common themes, challenges, and emerging issues affecting the nursing and midwifery workforce.
- Engage with referral partners and the funder to maintain effective working relationships.

- Share insights and learning from wellbeing conversations to help shape and strengthen Cavell’s broader support offer and inform service development.
- Co-lead on the evaluation of the Cavell Wellbeing Conversations service including building surveys, analysing data and creating reports.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Policy and Public Affairs Manager to join our Research, Policy and Impact team.
Supporting the Head of Cancer Insight, you will continue to develop and deliver a policy and public affairs strategy, including influencing at a local, regional, and national level, with the aim of helping the charity achieve its strategy and bringing benefit to the people of Yorkshire. You will develop evidence-based policy reports and recommendations that can be used to influence a variety of audiences and project manage the development, delivery and evaluation of public affairs campaigns and events. As Policy and Public Affairs Manager, you will also act as a source of expertise across the organisation and externally on key policy areas and the wider policy environment.
Specifically, you will:
Influencing
· Support the further development, refinement and delivery of the charity’s influencing strategy and impact evaluation process, in line with the charity’s own strategic ambitions.
· Lead the development of insightful written materials and reports to aid influencing.
· Lead the charity’s response to regional and national consultations relevant to cancer in Yorkshire, making a robust and evidence-based case for the charity’s position.
· Oversee the continued growth of the charity’s political monitoring work and ensure the effective pursuit of every opportunity offered.
· Engage with regional and national decision makers to influence policy-making for the benefit of people in Yorkshire and beyond.

Policy development
· Support the continued development of the policy production and dissemination process, including the policy development pathway, internal/external dissemination and impact evaluation.
· Lead the research, production and dissemination of high quality, evidence-based cancer-related policies and the strategic development of key policy recommendations.
· Oversee regular updates of existing policies and position statements, ensuring that topical policies are updated frequently.
· Ensure external insight is built into policies and policy development, such as gaining views from the Patient and Public Involvement Community, the inclusion of external patient and public contributors and endorsements from clinical and academic experts.
· Oversee work with relevant internal teams to create key messages for a range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring these are in line with the latest evidence and are used correctly, and provide expert commentary on media stories.
· Act as a source of expertise on the charity’s cancer-related policies and position statements, both internally and externally. Undertake media interviews as required to communicate key messages with the public.
Campaigns and Events
· Project manage the development, delivery and evaluation of public affairs campaigns, in collaboration with the Brand and Relationships team where relevant, manage relationships with third parties to support campaign delivery where required.
· Lead the outreach and delivery of influencing events, including visits to charity-funded projects and party conference activity.
· Further develop and deliver of a strategy for growing and maintaining a handraiser supporter base, to enhance public affairs campaigns activity.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· To have a degree in a relevant subject area, for example public policy, public health, scientific, medical etc.
· To have substantial experience of writing influencing materials such as briefings, letters, blogs, campaign materials.
· To have substantial experience supporting the implementation of high impact campaigns that engage the public and are designed to influence. Experience of working on campaigns that encourage behaviour change.
· To have experience of evaluating campaigns, and assessing the impact of policy and public affairs activities.
· To have excellent Public Affairs experience including understanding of local, regional and national government, the current health policy landscape as well as knowledge of UK parliamentary processes along with a proven track-record of engaging politically to make change happen.
· To have substantial experience of developing evidence-based policies for a health focused organisation.
· To have substantial experience of communicating health policy positions to a variety of audiences including for influencing purposes.
· To have a good understanding of the health care system in England.
· To be a strategic thinker with strong analytical, judgement and decision-making skills.

Role Summary
The UN Policy Manager (all genders) supports our ambitious efforts to engage with international institutions to bring food system transformation and sustainable diets to the heart of the global policy agenda. They will work within our UN team to mainstream a shift towards plant-based diets as a proven climate change adaptation and mitigation solution.
We are looking for a candidate to lead our biodiversity policy and advocacy workstream, including our engagement with the UN CBD. The ideal candidate is a biodiversity expert with demonstrated experience of influencing policy outcomes at national or international level. Job purpose: To lead and develop Remember A Charity’s marketing and communications programme, in line with our core mission of making legacy giving a social norm. This core focus of the role is on growing and engaging our audiences across the charity sector (members and non-members) and professional adviser communities (solicitors, Will-writers, wealth advisers).
The Marketing Manager will also contribute to the development of our consumer PR, marketing and digital programmes, led by the Director and Digital Communications Manager respectively.

Alongside your core responsibilities, you will help maintain our organisational database and support the coordination and delivery of a diverse programme of supporter events—ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. As Development Executive you will
- Manage the Spektrix CRM database
- Work alongside colleagues to deliver bespoke supporter events in Leeds and at venues across the UK
- Research and collate data to support fundraising activities
- Work with colleagues to draft funding bids and reports
- Support the smooth running of the Development department
- Be supported with an in-depth training programme to develop your skills as an arts fundraiser
We are looking for someone who
- Has administrative experience, organisational and time-management skills – able to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Has experience using or an interest in learning how to use CRM systems (ideally Spektrix) to manage data and support fundraising activities
- Is a motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage with Northern Ballet’s supporters

Senior Social Worker
Reports to: Service Manager (Social Work)
Responsible for: Yorkshire and North East personal welfare team
Location: Office based in Pontefract with regular travel

Our client is a national charity whose mission is to improve the lives of individuals and communities facing disadvantage due to the impact of the coal mining industry.
They are currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to be based in their office in Pontefract to lead the service delivery within the Yorkshire and North East region, managing a team of office based and home-based Social Work Assistants providing advice and support to former Miners and their dependents.
Role Purpose
Responsibility for the professional leadership and management of service delivery within the regional personal welfare team. The role also involves promoting the service locally and developing partnerships with other agencies for the benefit of the client group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the personal welfare team for the Yorkshire and North East region to provide a high quality, professional, outcomes focused service for former Miners and their dependents.
- Ensure the effective management of casework across the team including case allocation and management.
- Manage a small caseload of clients, when necessary, with a variety of needs, by carrying out high quality assessments and providing a range of appropriate interventions in response to assessed needs of the clients e.g. welfare benefits advice, advocacy, emotional support and practical advice.
- Drive service performance and improvement, monitoring efficiency and effectiveness and taking action to address performance or practice issues should they arise.
- Support the team through supervision, appraisal, case reviews and observations.
- Act as safeguarding lead for the region, advising and supporting team members to take appropriate action, ensuring adherence to the organisations safeguarding policy.
- Manage the delivery of a range of interventions predominantly through a home visiting service, including welfare benefits advice, support with mobility, social isolation and financial issues etc.
- Keep updated with relevant legislation and good practice and share such information across the team and wider organisation.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with other professionals and partner agencies to ensure integrated, holistic and multidisciplinary approach.
- Represent the organisation at events and meetings as required and co-ordinate publicity and marketing of services in the region in co-operation with head office to promote and advertise the service.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Degree in social work or equivalent social work qualification and current professional registration.
- Experience of leading / managing a team in a social care setting with the ability to manage and effectively prioritise caseloads, work with integrity and professionalism and work under pressure.
- Experience of community based social care services with experience of delivery with older people and / or disability services.
- Experience of implementing systems and processes and facilitating change.
- Experience of contributing to the development and updating of policies and practice in line with legislative changes and good practice.
- Good working knowledge of welfare benefits system.
- Knowledge and understanding of the values and principles underpinning working with vulnerable adults and their Carers within the community setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and good practice, particularly in relation to older people, mental health and disability.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Flexibility to travel across a wide geographic area with occasional overnight stays.
Desirable:
- Experience of social work practice teaching and/or practice teacher status or working towards.
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues facing former mineworkers and mining communities.
This role will require a satisfactory DBS check.
