Job description

We're the UK's specialist blood cancer charity and our vision is clear: we’re here to beat blood cancer. We fund world-class research; provide information and support to patients and their loved ones; and raise awareness of blood cancer.

We have an opportunity for a Regional Fundraising Manager to join our Regional Relationships team and help grow Blood Cancer UK’s fundraising impact across the region.

This role will focus on building and managing relationships with supporters and regional corporate partners, creating rewarding fundraising experiences and developing opportunities that increase engagement and income.

Working with colleagues across Regional Relationships, Public Fundraising, Partnerships, Philanthropy and Communications, you’ll help deliver excellent supporter stewardship and strengthen our connections with communities affected by blood cancer.

We’re looking for someone with experience of:

  • Building strong relationships with supporters, volunteers, corporates or stakeholders.
  • Community or corporate fundraising, with a focus on income growth.
  • Using insight and data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
  • Managing a varied workload and working collaboratively across teams.

The role involves regular travel across the region to meet supporters and stakeholders, as well as national travel approximately 6–8 times per year. A full UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes are required.

We are committed to actively promoting equality, diversity, and inclusivity. In line with our strategy we welcome approaches from individuals from underrepresented groups, including minority communities, and applicants with a disability, to better reflect the community we serve and help broaden our perspectives.
