Job description

Occupational Therapist

St Elizabeth’s Centre is a specialist Centre providing holistic care together with learning, leisure and other opportunities for adults and children with severe epilepsy, learning difficulties and complex health needs.

Position: Occupational Therapist (Grade 5)
Location: St Elizabeth's Centre
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,085 - £29,071 per annum

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Occupational Therapist - Grade 5, to join our busy multi-disciplinary therapy team. You will independently assess, develop and implement individual rehabilitation programmes for individuals with learning disabilities and / or behavioural related needs. You’ll use investigative and analytical skills, to formulate an individualised management and treatment programme based on advanced clinical reasoning and evidence based practice. Working closely with the team you’ll take a holistic approach to our complex service users and promoting their well-being will be at the heart of what you do.

About you:

You’ll be a positive person who possesses excellent general professional skills and have experience in a broad range of clinical placements / rotations. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a diploma / degree in Occupational Therapy, are HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

HCPC registration is essential.
