We are a multi-award winning, creative and innovative organisation with an exciting vacancy to lead War Child UK’s Institutional funding to ensure growth in our restricted funding portfolio. Bringing a strong network of partners, donor relationships and understanding of donor trends, you will play a vital role in reviewing and improving the quality of War Child’s institutional fundraising in the UK and work with our Programmes teams to diversify the scope and scale of new donors and grants. Building on our existing portfolio with FCDO, you will be responsible for the identification and the management of strategic relationships with UK-based institutional donors, primarily the FCDO and institutional foundations. You will maximise the new opportunities brought by the creation of the War Child Alliance and the expansion of our country of operations to help position the organisation for innovative grants and contracts directly with donors and indirectly through consortia.
The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors. Your primary focus will be the FCDO. You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia. The post holder will also develop and support organisational positioning for contracts and grants. This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment.
If you have the following qualities, we'd love to hear from you:
- Substantial experience of co-creating, leading, and coordinating complex proposal development processes directly and remotely – ideally for relevant donors including FCDO and humanitarian pooled funds
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant donors including FCDO, and humanitarian pooled funds
- Experience in building networks, partnerships, and consortia to maximise programme impact and funding opportunities
- The ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in a way that leads to increased impact for the organisation, and to spot and create opportunities with institutional foundations effectively and facilitate increasing access to funding for War Child’s work
- Ability to analyse the donor environment and identify trends, anticipate changes, be comfortable to deal with a large number of elements interacting in diverse and unpredictable ways

Main Duties And Responsibilities
Training
- In conjunction with the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, facilitate a safeguarding learning and development programme for the diocese aligned with the national church Learning and Development Framework, Church Safeguarding Standards, reflecting the specific safeguarding responsibilities of those in role.
- To administer all lay and clergy safeguarding training run by the Diocese in line with above, in approximately 80 sessions a year. This includes: producing a deadlines document; administers the sessions on Zoom / Teams, posting courses on Eventbrite and operating as content manager for publicity on the Diocesan website.
- To administer bookings for training courses; copy course materials and respond to emails and queries on training matters, ensure compliance of work submission required before and after courses.
- Log entry of all course participants onto a database to ensure each person has a personal safeguarding training record, and each parish has a safeguarding training profile.
General Administrative
- Work with IT and Information and Data Manager position to produce reports for the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser on safeguarding training issues and trends, and annual statistics represented in charts and graphs for inclusion in the annual safeguarding review.
- Produce quarterly reports on training compliance for Archdeacons and the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel meetings.
- Helping to organise and minute meetings when the safeguarding administrator is not available/on leave.
- Support the safeguarding team with other tasks and projects as identified by the Safeguarding Administrator or Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. This free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.

We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. About Black Thrive
Black Thrive Global (BTG) evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth (BTL) Partnership, which was established in 2016. We exist to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people so that the thriving of Black communities is the norm.
Our guiding principle is that Black communities should be at the forefront of reimagining, redefining, and co-creating a society where systemic racism and other oppressive systems have been dismantled so that they have fulfilling lives. We have two priorities – building a Black Thrive Research Institute and embedding race equity in systems change.
We have grown rapidly since 2021 and so still have a start-up culture and often deal with competing priorities at a fast pace.
The aim of Black Queer & Thriving is to explore the health and wellbeing needs of Black LGBTQ+ people in Lambeth and Southwark, develop community research that details these needs with the Working Group and use the outcome to influence local policy and infrastructure.

As the new Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you will play a critical role working alongside a dynamic and ambitious Senior Executive Team, Chief Executive Seyi Obakin and the Board of Trustees.
Our Director of Finance and Corporate Services will be instrumental in strengthening the organisation ensuring that Centrepoint is healthy and stable financially, while also considering long-term funding strategies. You will also take executive responsibility for financial operations; technology and business systems; internal audit and assurance; regulatory and professional compliance; and procurement.
We are looking for an exceptional, experienced leader who is commercially astute and a strategic thinker, at ease with promoting an insight led approach while supporting innovative ideas and translating broad goals into specific actions. You will be an excellent networker, communicator and influencer who is skilled in representing and promoting an organisation with different audiences, at different levels and in different contexts. Critically, you will be bringing demonstrable experience of initiating, leading, and delivering significant change and transformation across complex organisations.

Main purpose of Job:
Management of day-to-day parish activities including the general administration of the Parish Office, the running of all church operations, including building, fabric, communications, and the organisation of social, outreach and fundraising events (including publicity and marketing) that support the life and ministry of this diverse, vibrant and inclusive church in the modern catholic tradition of the Church of England.

We seek a Parish Administrator & Events Co-ordinator who will help us continue to grow as a community space as we seek to increase our revenue from available spaces to hire and increase our activity in terms of marketing, communications and events, as part of our mission alongside our local community. You will join a growing and supportive team to work alongside including the Vicar, PCC members, Music Director, Financial Assistant, and others to help St Peter’s fulfil its mission to be a Church which worships, nurtures, and takes action!
Main Duties and Responsibilities & Person Specification:
The Parish Administrator & Events Co-Ordinator is a key person in the life of St Peter’s who works closely with the Vicar, Treasurer, Director of Music, Churchwardens, PCC, regular volunteers and the wider community of De Beauvoir Town. This role is both administrative and a key personal contact for the many individuals and groups in the life of St Peter’s.

Essential:
- Excellent organisational skills with experience of administration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent IT skills with working experience of Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Working experience of digital communication systems including email marketing tools, websites, and use of social media
- IT Skills – familiarity with (or willingness and capacity to learn): InDesign software and use of cloud-based storage systems, such as Google Drive; Finance Software for Churches and Charities or similar accounting software; WordPress or Squarespace.

It’s an exciting time to join War Child as they have just launched their new Alliance initiative. The War Child Alliance brings together the five War Child fundraising members (in the Netherlands, UK, Germany and Sweden, plus Children in Conflict in the US), with 14 programme members, based in and around conflict-affected areas across the world and coordinated by a new international body: the War Child Alliance Foundation. As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager, Trusts Executive and the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive. The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors, with a primary focus on the FCDO.
You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia, as well as developing and supporting organisational positioning for contracts and grants.
This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment. You’ll achieve this by working closely with the War Child Alliance Foundation to research and analyse opportunities, enhance and support donor engagement plans, and drive forward engagement opportunities to maximise and secure funding.
About the role
- Develop and strengthen a network of contacts with relevant representatives from UK institutional donors and partners, primarily FCDO, institutional foundations and INGOs, to enable consortia to develop and grow.
- Identify funding needs within War Child and match them with institutional funding opportunities by engaging with country teams, the regional teams and the Alliance institutional funding coordination.
- Lead the co-creation, coordination, and design of complex and challenging proposals for institutional funding opportunities, including multi-country opportunities or large-scale consortium bids.
- Line manage the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive providing professional development and support.
About you
- Experience of co-creating, leading, and coordinating complex proposal development processes, ideally for relevant donors including FCDO and humanitarian pooled funds.
- Strong understanding of donor compliance, with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant donors including FCDO, and humanitarian pooled funds.
- Experience in building networks, partnerships, and consortia to maximise programme impact and funding opportunities.
- Line management or leadership experience.

As the person flying the Data flag in the world of Tommy's, you will take accountability for maintaining, upgrading, and developing their fundraising database so that they can improve their donors' experience and communicate effectively with them. You will lead a team of two Database Officers and coach them to becoming a highly effective team.
As part of the role, you will develop strong relationships within the Fundraising team, helping to understand their needs. You will also develop and establish organisational ways of working with the database, including leading on training staff and developing a user manual to highlight good practice. As the data champion, you will be the main point of contact for data, reporting and analysis queries internally, delegating to the Database Officer as appropriate.

Coram IAC, is a Voluntary Adoption Agency, which specialises in Intercountry Adoptions. This position is a member of the Leadership Team and will have a pivotal role in leading, developing and managing a range of operational adoptions services, ensuring that they meet the needs of children we are providing services for, including all legal, policies, guidelines, and internal standards. They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.
About the Role
The Head of Service post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Adoption Manager of Coram IAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.
Applying to adopt in the UK is open to anyone already in the process with Coram IAC but we do not actively recruit domestic adopters like other VAAs. Approved Intercountry Adopters may however request to change their approval advice to the UK if they are considered a suitable match for children available and waiting for permanence through Adoption in the UK.
Coram IAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children.
