In your role as the Recruitment & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies as well as ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and The Children's Trust policies and procedures. You will actively collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation to guarantee that we attract, recruit, and retain exceptional candidates who can assist us in our ongoing transformation
The Recruitment & Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of the organisation while ensuring that all recruitment activities comply with legal requirements and align with the organisation's values and objectives. This role involves the development and implementation of recruitment strategies that meet the evolving demands of the organisation, promote its unique opportunities, and enhance the employee value proposition.
The Recruitment and Compliance Team oversee the recruitment of our staff (permanent and bank), trustees, volunteers, consultants and agency staff.

Role Requirements
- Responsible for creating effective recruitment strategies that attract a diverse pool of high-quality candidates suitable for various roles within the organisation.
- Oversees the entire recruitment cycle, from job postings to candidate selection, ensuring the process is efficient and effective.
- Ensure that all recruitment activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations, as well as internal policies, by staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and ensuring the organisation’s practices align with them.
- Provide guidance and training to hiring managers and staff involved in the recruitment process, ensuring their understanding of and compliance with legal and policy requirements.
- Track recruitment metrics and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and compliance measures.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the organisation to understand their recruitment needs and ensure alignment with the overall goals of the organisation.
- Ensure that recruitment processes promote fairness, diversity, and inclusion, while maintaining high standards for candidate experience
- Enhance the overall candidate experience to attract and retain top talent
- Develop and implement proactive forward looking recruitment strategies (Including Employee Value Proposition, early entry career pathways and direct recruitment/ brand marketing)
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates/volunteers to onboarding, driving the focus on continuous evolution and change of the service
- Develop and implement compliance programmes.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of People & Culture, to support the effective management of the centralised Recruitment budget
- Lead the streamlining of recruitment and compliance processes through the adoption of digital solutions

We are looking for a part time Membership Officer to work 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday), alongside our existing part time Membership Officer. The position is hybrid, with at least one day a week (Tuesday) in the office in Archway. Together, they will lead on administrative support of our membership functions. The Senior Marketing Planning Manager in an exciting new role to Alzheimer’s Research UK. Sitting in the Marketing Planning team within Strategic Marketing, this role is accountable for making ARUK’s marketing system work end-to-end for bigger and better impact.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Planning & Operating Model Leadership

Strategic Marketing & Communications Board Programme Management

Campaign Planning Quality & Governance
· Lead consistent campaign briefing, prioritisation and review processes.

Cross-Organisational Leadership
· Coordinate input from Fundraising, Comms, Brand, Digital, Policy and Insight.

The Digital Lead is the operational backbone of the Digital team, responsible for ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of all digital functions. · DDT Programme Support: While not a core part of the role, the Digital Lead will provide operational support to the Head of Digital and the broader digital transformation programme. This includes ensuring the Digital team's resources and deliverables (e.g. website development, cyber security, Salesforce embedding) are planned effectively to support the DDT's success, without taking on direct project management responsibility for them.
Planning & Reporting
· Operational Planning: Support the Head of Digital with the development of the team's operational plans, including learning and development initiatives, and the Digital Acceleration Training Programme.
· Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key departmental metrics, such as learning programme participation rates and team satisfaction, to the Head of Digital. Ensure all departmental objectives and goals are on track.

This new post will build on our Charity fundraising work which seeks to generate income from a portfolio of philanthropic sources, including trusts, foundations, individuals, corporate sponsors, and statutory bodies. Education Delivery Specialists are the front-line delivery posts for all programmes, leading workshops, training peer educators and mentoring ambassadors across the country. You will be committed to equality with the skills to engage 9 to 15-year-olds through learning and empowerment. This role is a temporary maternity cover, ideally starting in March 2026. You will be covering a range of brilliant London schools with established relationships and programmes. You will join a supportive team including two London and Essex-based workers.

Role
We seek a Finance Manager to lead the day to day running of the charity’s finances including overseeing the work of our outsourced financial provider. As a grant giving organisation, there will be regular interaction with the programmatic workstreams in this position, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to increase the capacity of a field-leading charity, help empower researchers in the Global South, and contribute to one of the world’s most important climate debates. Working with the COO, you will undertake organisational financial planning, budgeting and forecasting so that the senior staff and trustees have comprehensive information for decision making. Furthermore, in cooperation with the Development Manager, this role will support the submission of funding bids and reporting to funders to ensure the continued growth of the charity.
Responsibilities
As this is a new role, responsibilities are expected to evolve but some key items include:
- Financial Oversight: Overseeing the outsourced finance provider, ensuring service delivery meets organisational needs and deadlines. You will be the primary liaison between our financial services provider and the staff, ensuring that they make payments on behalf of the organisation, runs payroll, completes the bookkeeping via QuickBooks, the monthly management accounts, and the annual statutory accounts.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Preparing and monitoring annual organisational budgets including a mid-year adjustment, cash flow forecasts, financial models and annual accounts to support the annual business cycle and fundraising bids.
- Reporting: Finalising monthly management accounts prepared by outsourced financial provider, deliver financial reports for the COO, senior leadership, and trustees, and preparing donor financial reporting.
- Financial Strategy and Investment Oversight: Working with the COO to manage financial resources and reserves including developing the investment policy to support the long-term goals of the charity.
- Audit & Compliance: Leading on annual audits, maintain compliance with UK charity finance regulations, and ensure adherence to funder requirements.
- Programmatic financial support: Working closely with the programmes teams to ensure their payments processes run smoothly with the outsourced financial provider, and regularly reviewing their grant and event expenditure is in line with their own managed budgets.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices, such as working with Operations to improve payments & expenses software, opening new bank accounts, or finding new platforms to reduce international payment fees.
