About us
Who we are
WWMS is a registered Christian charity based in Woodford Green, North East London (charity number 1172757). We look forward to a society where all migrants are valued, respected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
WWMS provides advocacy, advice and support services to refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants living in the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Newham, Waltham Forest, Havering, Barking and Dagenham and the County of Essex.
We specialise in immigration advice and are registered with the Immigration Advice Authority at Level 3. We also provide housing advice and support, and a holistic signposting and referral service. We hold coffee mornings for our community.
Through collaborative efforts and compassionate initiatives, we strive to build a resilient community where every migrant feels valued, embraced, and equipped for a brighter future.
Our culture and values
We look forward to a society where all migrants are valued, respected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Equality, diversity and inclusion policy
Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support recognises that we live in a society where discrimination still operates to the disadvantage of many groups in society.
We believe that all persons should have equal rights to recognition of their human dignity, and to have equal opportunities to be educated, to work, receive services and to participate in society.
Wanstead and Woodford Migrant Support is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities through the way we manage the organisation and provide services to the community.
We encourage participation from those with lived experience at all levels of the organisation.
