LTSB is a social mobility charity. The Senior Programme Manager will lead our programme delivery to support young people from some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities to realise their potential and build meaningful careers.

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Officer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of our In2STEM Programme during a busy and high impact period. The Programme Officer will support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

About Adolescent Health Study
The Adolescent Health Study (AHS) is an ambitious new UKRI-funded initiative to establish a prospective, longitudinal population study that will generate a globally leading open science data platform and research resource. AHS aims to recruit at least 100,000 young people from across the UK and to follow their mental and physical health and wellbeing over at least 10 years. It plans to collect data through questions and measures; to obtain bio-samples for a wide range of genomic and other high-throughput assays; and to capture linked data relevant to health and wellbeing from participants’ health, education and other administrative records. About the role
The Research Officer supports Kinship in building a strong and coordinated evidence base about kinship families, and ensures our influencing work is grounded in real experience.
The role supports the design, delivery and communication of high-quality research, insights and evaluation that shapes policy, practice and service development. It also supports the coordination and operational delivery of research and practice activity, helping ensure projects, networks and events run effectively and that insights are shared across the organisation and the wider sector.
They will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including Policy, Programmes, Peer Support and Communications. It will ensure that research and insight are gathered and used consistently and that the experiences of kinship carers, particularly those from underserved communities, are central to our work. This role could be hybrid or remote.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research that improves understanding of kinship families’ needs, experiences and outcomes.
Lead data collection through surveys, interviews, focus groups and desk research.
Carry out analysis using suitable methods to produce accurate and meaningful insight.
Ensure research reflects the diversity of kinship carers, including carers from ethnic minority communities, mixed heritage families, informal kinship carers and carers experiencing additional barriers.
Maintain strong ethical standards and follow GDPR requirements.

Job Title: Heritage Advisor, Nature in Sacred Places (NiSP)

The Churches Conservation Trust is a partner in the Nature in Sacred Places (NISP) National Lottery Heritage Fund project. This is a £5.2m project with an 18-month development phase followed by a four-year delivery phase (subject to securing further funding), in partnership with Natural England, the Church of England, Churches Conservation Trust and Caring for God’s Acre. NISP will build on principles established by the Bats in Churches Project, a previous project supported by the Heritage Fund which worked with faith groups, community volunteers, young people and professionals across three main strands, Broadening engagement, Supporting practical action and Building professional capacity.

As a member of the Nature in Sacred Places project team, the post-holder will be responsible for:

The person
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. The postholder will take responsibility for the delivery of accredited face-to-face wheelchair skills training for young wheelchair users, as well as training for parents and other professionals involved in their development, ensuring processes and procedures relating to safety and safeguarding are followed. The role also includes liaising with schools, colleges and external organisations and ensuring volunteers are supported and empowered at services.

• Planning and delivery of wheelchair skills training and train the trainer across Wales or London.

• Promoting Whizz Kidz services to third party organisations in order to drive new applications/referrals.

• Attending Whizz Kidz services across the country if required in order to support the Service Delivery Managers.

About the Patient Evidence department
The MPE Patient Evidence department was established in 2020 to generate evidence to better understand and articulate patients’ perspectives, influence decision-makers and use evidence as a driving force for progress across our strategic goals. The team is led by Dr Eilidh Duncan and our goal is to lead the development of robust patient evidence to improve experiences, outcomes and access for myeloma patients and their families. We achieve this by spearheading novel patient research initiatives that address gaps in the evidence and ensure the meaningful inclusion of patient perspectives in research design, conduct and interpretation. We use the evidence we generate internally to fuel progress across all MPE programmes and activities and externally by decision-makers including those in clinical, regulatory, industry, academic and policy settings.

Act as the main point of contact for all events and training enquiries, providing excellent support to members, delegates and partners.
Ensure events are delivered in the most cost-effective way, to budget, and in line with Clinks’ internal processes.
Support staff across Clinks to deliver events and training sessions, including providing guidance, templates, systems support and coordination.
Promote all events and training opportunities through appropriate channels, working closely with communications colleagues.
Manage relationships with external facilitators and event partners to ensure smooth delivery and strong collaboration.
Monitor pricing and access to ensure smaller organisations are supported, while also contributing to Clinks’ income generation targets.
Collect, analyse and report on feedback and evaluation data to inform continuous improvement.
Annual Conference Planning and Delivery
Lead on the planning and delivery of Clinks’ annual conference, working closely with colleagues across the organisation.
Coordinate venue liaison, suppliers, programme planning, speaker management, delegate communications and event-day delivery.
Develop and manage the conference project timeline, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively addressed.
Support opportunities for sponsorship, partnerships and income generation linked to the conference.
Ensure the conference reflects Clinks’ strategic priorities and provides an engaging, inclusive experience for members and stakeholders.
Membership Engagement Support
Support the wider Membership team to ensure events and training align with Clinks’ membership offer and benefits.
Encourage member engagement through forums, learning opportunities and networking events.
Work with colleagues to identify unmet need across the sector and shape future event and training activity accordingly.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Clinks’ membership and engagement strategy, particularly where it connects to events delivery.
Systems, Administration and Digital Support
Oversee event booking and registration systems, ensuring accurate records and smooth user journeys.
Maintain and update relevant website content linked to events, training and learning resources.
Ensure event data is recorded accurately to support evaluation and reporting.
Support ongoing improvements to systems and processes for managing events and training efficiently.

· Experience of managing event logistics and administration, including booking systems, delegate communications and follow-up.

· Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team, while also being able to take responsibility for tasks independently.
