About the role
Working alongside the Head of Communications and Marketing, you'll develop and deliver internal, external and digital marketing strategies that raise our profile across the West Midlands and beyond.
You'll also provide communications and marketing support for corporate fundraising, retail operations and new commercial ventures that generate income and raise brand awareness for Birmingham Hospice.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving Communications and Marketing Team as we reach new audiences and grow our communication and income generation activities.

· You'll have proven experience developing and delivering impactful communications strategies
· You'll be comfortable handling media enquiries, with the ability to position Birmingham Hospice as a trusted and leading voice in hospice care
· You'll bring team management experience, exceptional organisational skills, and an enthusiastic, can-do approach to challenges, combined with first-class written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail.

Our dedicated teams provide exceptional care and support across two welcoming sites in Erdington and Selly Park – and we need an outstanding Facilities Manager to help us deliver this mission.
About the Role
As our Facilities Manager, you’ll lead a unified facilities and housekeeping service, ensuring our environments are safe, efficient, and truly patient-focused. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:
· Oversee day-to-day operations for facilities, maintenance, and housekeeping. * You will oversee one Hospice site in Birmingham (Erdington or Selly Park) and oversee or provide cover at the other hospice on occasions where needed.
· Ensure compliance with estates, facilities, and health & safety legislation.
· Drive continuous improvement so our spaces remain fit for purpose and enhance patient experience.
· Provide assurance to the Board on compliance and operational excellence.
What you will bring:
We’re looking for someone who is not just experienced but is proactive and adaptable. You will bring:
· IOSH qualification and demonstrable knowledge of Health & Safety and current legislation
· Strong organisational, people management and project management skills.
· Excellent communication, IT proficiency and experience in managing budgets.
· The ability to work flexibly and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
· A commitment to high standards and a passion for making a difference.

Oasis is looking for a Community Hub Leader who can combine an entrepreneurial flair and excellent leadership skills to lead Oasis Hub Hobmoor through the next phase of its growth.
We are seeking an experienced Community Hub Leader who will bring fresh vision, take the community on the next stage of its journey together as a movement and bring innovation as well as stability to the charity, which has become an anchor, and a place called home for the local community.
The post holder will lead the local charity – which over the last 8 years has grown considerably, in terms of staffing, income and projects (including food pantry and café, football training and teams, a wide range of adult education, advice and support, an array of community classes and holiday provision).

Oasis Hub Hobmoor is a local charity situated in South Yardley, Birmingham, at the meeting point of three wards: Tyseley and Hay Mills, South Yardley, and Yardley West and Stetchford.
Our aim is to help create a local community where people of all ages and stages feel included, know they can contribute, and realise a deep sense of belonging. We are actively engaged in creating a community that is characterised by trust, safety, and opportunity.
Key responsibilities
This is a key role as you will be responsible for strategic oversight of the local charity, ensuring the youth and community work supports the work of the academy, working alongside other local Oasis leaders such as the Academy Principal, volunteers and members of the local community to develop a joined up local vision for the community.
Some of the specific duties of this role include:
· Establishment and coordination of a range of provision such as family support, holiday clubs, volunteering and community empowerment projects.
· Maintaining and building supportive working partnerships across the community and various groups.
· Leading strategic development (e.g. comms, income generation, MEL).
· Planning, resourcing and coordinating the community plan, measuring impact.
· Strengthening the local Oasis Movement.
About you
This is very much a relational and project management role. As such, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
· A strategic mindset, and experience of leading community delivery and growing projects.
· Innovative use of resources and budget management to maximise funding, with a track record of securing income.
· A thorough knowledge and understanding community work.
· An education to degree level or equivalent and /or relevant professional qualification.
