The Executive Officer to CEO leads the effective running of the CEO’s office, providing strategic project management, coordination of leadership priorities, and hands-on delivery across strategy development, planning and governance.
This is a pivotal role within War Child, sitting at the heart of the organisation’s leadership and governance. Working closely with the CEO, Leadership Group, Chair and Board of Trustees, the Executive Officer to CEO plays a key role in enabling effective decision-making, organisational oversight and delivery of War Child’s ambitions for children.
Reporting to the CEO and acting as a trusted representative of their office, you will be an energetic, highly organised self-starter with the judgement and confidence to balance strategic coordination with high-quality executive support. The role combines project leadership, organisational planning and culture-focused initiatives with hands-on executive assistance.
As Company Secretary, you will also support excellence in governance by ensuring War Child meets its statutory and regulatory obligations, including compliance and reporting to the Charity Commission, Companies House and the Fundraising Regulator.
This is a hybrid role, with two days per week expected in the London office and up to three days per week working remotely. Occasional additional office attendance may be required to support meetings or key organisational activity.

- Experienced in providing high-level executive support at C-suite level, and in supporting a Board and/or charity governance processes, including the drafting of high-quality minutes, reports and formal papers.

The Human Resources department provides a strategic and operational HR service to the seven National Church Institutions (NCIs) and the 42 Diocesan Bishops' offices. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources to study a CIPD qualification whilst working in an HR role on a fixed-term basis for 18 months. In this role, you will be the day-to-day HR contact for NCI Staff, supporting both the HR Operations Manager and HR Business Partners. You will be required to meet staff and be a visible HR presence in our London Office.
Undertake and complete a Level 3 CIPD HR Apprenticeship and apply learnings and best practice to the role. You will be mentored by a member of the HR team and support will be offered to fulfil the requirements of the Apprenticeship scheme.
- You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail, including working with numerical data.
- You will have an enthusiastic, flexible, and highly organised approach to work, with the ability to understand and process high volumes of information.

- This role will require the postholder to work from our London office in Westminster London once a week on average (currently Wednesdays).

To meet the apprenticeship entry requirements, you will need to have:
- Academic ability to meet the entry requirements of the Level 3 apprentice course attached to this apprenticeship and to attend and undertake the studying and course work required to complete the course.

We’ve recently invested in modern Microsoft data tools and updated our key systems to provide the foundations for the future. This is a chance to define how we use data for the long term, from engineering robust pipelines to creating the dashboards leaders rely on every day.
In the short term, your focus will be:
- Overseeing the introduction of a new member data collection portal being developed by a third-party organisation.
- Developing, deploying and improving our internal performance reporting and hospice sector reporting using Power BI and related Microsoft tools.

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
The Web and Email Manager will lead our digital presence across web, email, SEO, and paid search, crafting engaging campaigns that resonate with 18-24 year olds and inspire them to take action.

You’ll sit within the Marketing department, report to the Head of Content, and line manage the Digital Marketing Executive. You’ll work closely with the Digital Fundraising Manager, Social Media Manager, Content Manager, and Marketing Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities

Develop, implement and optimise innovative multi-channel digital strategies (across website, paid search, SEO, and email) that drive online visibility and performance.

Manage the implementation of these strategies across our main digital channels, making sure all user journeys are integrated, effective, and aligned with CoppaFeel!’s objectives.

Manage the relationship with our external web agency, and oversee the development and maintenance of the website and Self-Checkout tool, in collaboration with the Education team.

Lead on our Paid Search and SEO strategy, including managing the relationship with our media agency, making recommendations for keyword changes and improvements, and reporting on our rank positioning and strategies for improvement.

Lead on our website maintenance, with support of our external web agency, ensuring that the website is secure and remains live.

Manage the organisation’s digital marketing budget, ensuring this is appropriately applied

Line manage the Digital Marketing Executive, responsible for their development and impact.

Develop and deliver engaging email campaigns, including automated workflows and well-designed email templates, to drive audience engagement and conversion.

Create and optimise landing pages and new web content, informed by SEO research and best practices, to enhance visibility, user experience, and performance across digital channels.

Develop and deliver engaging acquisition campaigns to grow our audience.

Make sure web and email content adheres to brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Produce rigorous monthly reporting of digital channels, identifying learnings and recommendations to implement to constantly evolve and optimise channels (including The Self-Checkout tool).

Act as the Marketing team’s lead for the CRM (Beacon), optimising how it connects with the website and email systems to enhance audience segmentation, personalisation, and campaign performance.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our team at Eastbourne Foyer, with the expectation of working from our other sites in Hailsham when required. You will hold a caseload of residents and carry out regular key work sessions with them each week.
