We are seeking a passionate, creative, and proactive Corporate and Community Fundraiser to help to grow vital income streams and support our mission to improve the lives of unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness

· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from all parts of our community

· Promote and support third-party fundraising events, providing advice, materials, and encouragement to maximise their success

Community Engagement

· Be a warm and visible ambassador for The Carers Centre, representing our values at local events, community spaces with empathy and enthusiasm.

· Support the development of volunteer fundraising networks and champions

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure carers’ voices are at the heart of messaging and initiatives

Corporate Partnerships

Research, approach, build  and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners

Communications & Administration

· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels

· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system

· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values

General

Ensure that you;

The Work Rights Centre, in partnership with the LEF Fellowship Programme, is looking for a Trainee Solicitor to join our ambitious and driven team. We are a charity set up by migrants and for migrants, and every day our multilingual team of legal advisers stand up for their employment rights and secure their immigration status. 

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with a strong sense of justice, who is looking to build a career in a legal profession. This role will suit someone who values impact, and the opportunity to make a real  difference in the lives of vulnerable migrant workers and disadvantaged Britons.

You will be able to learn from three experienced solicitors, exercise your skills as an adviser, and progress your career in a friendly and supportive environment. The LEF Fellowship Programme will cover the cost of your mandatory legal training and exams. By the end of two years you will have had the chance to complete your SQE training and gain the required practical experience to fully qualify as a solicitor.

The role

As the Trainee Solicitor,  you’ll work on a stimulating range of issues across two wide areas of law -  Immigration (in Year 1) and Employment (in Year 2). You will learn how best to support vulnerable clients with limited English language and digital skills, how to spot signs of modern slavery or manage safeguarding concerns.

Working with our immigration team, you will help clients understand and secure their immigration status in the UK. You will support clients who have limited leave to remain (e.g. on employer-sponsored visas, Ukraine Visa Schemes, or pre-settled EUSS status) or who are entirely undocumented. Working with our employment team, you will work on cases involving non-payment of wages, non-provision of work, unlawful deductions, race and gender discrimination, or unfair dismissals. Crucially, you will have the opportunity to understand the real-life intersection of the two areas of law, as they are often experienced by the same clients. 

This is a brilliant opportunity to gain well-rounded experience across all stages of the legal process, including interviewing clients, collecting information and assessing evidence, taking down witness statements, providing over the phone and written advice, and collating evidence bundles. 

Alongside your legal work and SQE2 study, you will complete an independent social justice project aligned with your personal interests and objectives of the charity. This might entail legal research, sourcing strategic cases, or compiling data on the impact of the current policies. Working on this project will give you an opportunity to conduct strategic legal work contributing to systemic change.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and confident colleague who shares our commitment to providing excellent legal advice to migrant workers. Key criteria include:

• Completed and passed (or expect to pass by 14 March 2026) the Legal Practice Course (LPC) OR have an undergraduate degree and completed and passed SQE Part 1.

• Experience of working with  marginalised migrant communities

About the role:

A new and exciting role has arisen within our HR team as HR Manager to lead and execute day-to-day HR operations. You will support a team of HR Coordinators to ensure that every stage of the employee lifecycle is handled efficiently and accurately, in accordance with legislation, organisational policies, and best practice.

As part of the role, you will maintain consistency, quality, timeliness, and precision across all HR (including Recruitment) administration and employee relations work. In addition to leading HR operations, you will also serve as a business partner: advising and supporting managers in allocated parts of the organisation, diagnosing operational people issues, and helping to put in place practical, effective solutions, whilst supporting them in delivery of their people strategies.

What you will be doing:

• Lead, manage, coach, and allocate tasks to HR Coordinators; oversee daily workload and priorities, ensuring quality standards are maintained 

• Lead annual reviews of HR operational processes, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service standards and efficiency. 

• Own the HR operational risk register, proactively identifying risks and supporting mitigation strategies. 

• Be accountable for all aspects of the employee lifecycle ensuring timely and compliant completion of key processes

• Ensure integrity of employee records and that the HRIS (currently SelectHR) is used properly in terms of effectiveness and efficiency as well as data quality/compliance standards.

Your experience:

• Strong people skills: able to coach, guide, communicate clearly with staff and managers.

• Demonstratable understanding of UK employment law and statutory HR compliance with experience of business partnering.

Rethink Devon and Torbay Advocacy Service is one of the partners in The Devon Advocacy Consortium (DAC). Our multidisciplinary advocates work in partnership with other local organisations across Devon and Torbay to provide specialist advocacy services for adults with a range of additional needs.

Rethink Langdon Advocacy is based on site at Langdon Hospital where all patients are detained under sections of the mental health act. The hospital supports men from South-West England who, because of their mental health needs, have had contact with the legal system and require a safe and secure environment where they can receive treatments, therapies, and care to help them recover. Our advocates work across the site providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy for adults detained in the hospital.

We’re looking to grow our delivery team with a brand new role that is responsible for processing the referrals we receive for the Settle Programme as well as holding assessment meetings as and when necessary. The successful candidate will also be a Senior Settle Coach holding a reduced caseload and using their frontline skills to work one-to-one with care-experienced young people across London.

For this role, we anticipate that you will spend 50-60% of your time processing and responding to referrals, including taking further steps to assess the needs of the young person who has been referred. To do this you’ll work closely with our Programme Management team, Business Development team and referral partners to ensure that we have all the necessary information to deal safely and appropriately with referrals. As this is a new role to the organisation, there will be scope to shape and influence the way this work is managed alongside your manager and our Chief Operating Officer.

We then anticipate you will spend the remaining 40-50% of your time as a Senior Settle Coach, working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll work closely with our partners to ensure the smooth delivery of our contracts and with the Programme Management team and Senior Partnerships Manager to support reporting on outcomes and regular partnership meetings.

You will report into a manager within the Programme Management team.

Candidates with experience of assessing and managing risk are encouraged to apply. Essential requirements include the ability to hold multiple perspectives alongside each other, ability to approach risk and need from a curious perspective, comfort and ability to escalate concerns as well as strong people skills. It is essential that the candidate has at least 2 years of frontline experience to fulfil the Senior Settle Coach requirements.

We are advertising this role on a hybrid basis; with travel into the office one or two days a week and travelling to deliver sessions across London for some of the rest of the week.

We are The Bike Project, a charity that collects second-hand bikes, refurbishes them and donates them to refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK. That brings better health, freedom and independence to people rebuilding their lives in the UK. That’s vital when many are living on less than £10 a week.

A bike links people to essential services, including foodbanks and legal advice, as well as the local community. 

About Us

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Duites and Responsibilities

This role oversees the securing and reporting of our Trusts and Foundation income, including working closely with colleagues to develop relevant, impactful and deliverable funding proposals and coordinate the stewardship of key trust and foundation relationships.

The role works closely with all colleagues to ensure a joined-up approach to income generation across the charity and our different supporter groups.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in preparing and submitting successful funding applications and proposals to charitable trusts and foundations, with a track record of securing five and six figure gifts, ideally within the refugee’s sector. You will have experience of working with, and applying for funding from, some of the larger grant organisations.

You will be experienced in identifying suitable prospects, developing pipelines, and managing funder relationships, adopting a strategic approach when working with colleagues across the organisation.

Location

This is a hybrid role, working from home with one day per week in either our London or Birmingham office. The salary is £42,000 for Birmingham-based employees and £45,000 for London-based employees, reflecting the London Living Wage adjustment

The role:

• Drive the strategic development of Christian Aid’s digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s values and overarching goals.
• Develop and implement a robust search engine optimisation (SEO) and link-building strategy to improve website health, attract relevant traffic, and support user acquisition targets.
• Deliver key digital projects focused on enhancing campaign effectiveness and maximising income and impact, including:
  • Technical SEO
  • Site audits
  • Keyword research and analysis
  • Competitor and backlink analysis
• Collaborate with the Senior Digital Content Editor to implement the digital content strategy across Christian Aid’s digital channels—including social media—to maximise reach, engagement, and income.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams to execute the digital ecosystem content roadmap, ensuring all content is user-focused and impact-driven.
• Define and brief content requirements that support SEO and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) efforts, enabling data-informed and impactful decisions.
• Lead the organisation’s tag management strategy and implementation, including:
  • Tag structure and tools
  • Server-side tagging
  • Integration with the customer data platform (CDP)
  • Ensuring all tracking functionality is accurate and effective

About you:

• Completed training in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), user experience (UX), search engine optimisation (SEO), and other key digital disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing teams across content management and social media.
• Advanced expertise in technical SEO, including:
  • On-page and off-page optimisation
  • Technical SEO best practices
  • Successful implementation of link-building strategies
• Highly proficient in digital analytics and performance tools, including:
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
  • SEMrush (or equivalent platforms)
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Hotjar and ContentSquare
  • Power BI and Looker Studio
• Experienced in managing external suppliers and partners across digital platforms and tools.
• Skilled in content management systems (CMS), particularly Drupal, with working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Strong ability to produce clear, insight-driven digital performance reports using data from:
  • GA4

  • Other performance tools
