You’ll be joining a fast-paced but very supportive team of around 15 people, with plenty of guidance at the start and a strong culture of working together. What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll provide the core administrative support that keeps the Schools and Colleges Early Support Service running efficiently, ensuring that appointments, communications, data processes and day-to-day operations are well coordinated so practitioners can focus on supporting children, young people and school staff. You’ll work closely with practitioners and the Project Manager, and you’ll also build regular connections with school staff and education professionals across the country. These relationships are central to the role and key to keeping the service running smoothly.
- Getting up to speed quickly with scheduling, mailbox management and core administrative processes.
- Helping maintain smooth service delivery by keeping information accurate, organised and shared in a timely way.
- You’ll manage daily service administration, oversee intervention activity and act as a point of contact for practitioners.
- Scheduling appointments, webinars, training sessions and internal/external meetings, making sure all logistics are in place.
- You’ll monitor and manage the service mailbox, respond to enquiries and share prepared communications with stakeholders.
- Organising meeting arrangements, preparing agendas, circulating papers and taking accurate minutes when required.
- You’ll maintain and update databases and spreadsheets, track service uptake, and collate data for reporting and analysis.
What you’ll bring
You’ll be a well-organised and proactive administrator who’s confident with digital tools, comfortable managing a busy workload, and able to communicate clearly and professionally with practitioners, schools and other stakeholders.
- You should have experience working in a busy administrative setting and be confident juggling multiple tasks.
- Strong IT skills are important, including ease with MS Office, web-based systems and databases/CRMs.
- You’ll need excellent organisation, attention to detail and time-management skills to stay on top of deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work well with a range of colleagues and professionals.

Key details
Hours: Full time: usual working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. Flexible working is considered depending on individual situation and service needs. Must work Friday.
Salary: £27,040 FTE per annum, plus 6% contributory pension scheme
Location: Location Hybrid (a mixture of home/onsite working): staff are working onsite for at least 20% of their working hours, either at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD). There may be scope for increased remote working for the right person.

Main Responsibilities:
The role involves delivering LifeSkills sessions to groups of families in East Yorkshire. The postholder will also be the main point of contact for delivery partners hosting programmes (e.g., small charities, schools) and staff and volunteers delivering sessions and be expected to respond promptly to a wide range of queries and requests for support. Examples might include, for instance, devising LifeSkills programmes for different cohorts, presenting to potential partners, devising risk assessments, recording data, and visiting and providing guidance and support for staff and volunteers delivering sessions in venues across the area.

THINK EQUAL is a global education initiative with a mission to ensure that Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) becomes a mandatory subject for all children in early years settings globally. Purpose of the Role
Working at the forefront of Think Equal’s mission to bring the ‘missing subject’ to the hearts and minds of children in the UK, the role of the UK Programmes Officer primary focus would be to ensure the successful delivery of the Think Equal programme across early years classrooms in the UK. Support and coordinate the delivery of the Think Equal programme across UK projects. This includes:

This is an exciting role in Army Cadet Headquarters which provides administrative support to the functional delivery areas of the syllabus. The Member Engagement Administrator will play a key role in supporting the eAA’s member engagement and event activities. Key Responsibilities
Special Interest Group (SIG) Support:
- Manage the administration and coordination of the eAA’s Special Interest Groups.
- Support and prompt volunteer leads to ensure each SIG remains active and productive.
- Coordinate and schedule SIG meetings and online events, including setting up Cvent/ Zoom/Teams sessions and distributing materials.
- Assist with follow-up actions such as publishing content, circulating recordings, and gathering member feedback.
- Monitor engagement levels and prepare summary reports for the Operations Manager and Board.
Event Support (Online and In-person):
- Assist in the setup, promotion, and delivery of online events, including webinars, panel discussions, and SIG sessions.
- Manage speaker liaison, registration processes, and event logistics.
- Support the delivery of major eAA events including the International Conference (2026) and the International Awards Gala Dinner, including administrative coordination and event materials.
- Ensure a positive participant experience by handling communications and post-event follow-up.
Membership and Communications:
- Respond to member and volunteer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, announcements, and updates about SIG and event activity.

General Administrative Support:

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative support role.
- Experience managing events (especially online events such as webinars or small conferences).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- ‘Tech-savvy’ with a willingness and ability to adapt to new technologies and programmes, including AI. Confident using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom/Teams, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.

About the Role
Working alongside the Managing Director, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day running of the BDD Foundation while leading on key projects during this three month cover period.
