Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Director of Studies for a leading higher education institution. This is a permanent role for 3 days a week (21hours) paying £54,600 pro rata. Benefits package includes a very generous annual leave entitlement.

This is an exciting and pioneering programme, the first dedicated qualification in the teaching and learning of the psychological therapies. As the Director of Studies you will oversee the complete student experience from recruitment, teaching, assessment, supervision through to graduation. You will line manage the programme team to ensure the quality of provision and student outcomes and lead on the innovative design, development and delivery of these programmes. You will also be responsible for the Post Qualification Continuing Professional Development.

The role will suit a senior academic with considerable experience in managing academic programmes at post-graduate level. You will have a Masters Degree or equivalent qualification, a PGCert HE (or recognised teaching qualification) and Senior FHEA as well as be a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist and/ OR BACP accredited counsellor.
