Main purpose of the role
As our Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our fundraising strategy, working closely with the Executive Director, the Finance Team, the Insight Fundraising Officer and the Trust and Foundations consultants. The Fundraising Manager will develop existing income streams and strengthen stakeholder and supporter engagement. As Fundraising Manager, you’ll work closely with other global team members to review and implement our fundraising strategy in line with our strategic goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the development and delivery of ICC’s fundraising strategy and the success of direct marketing, telemarketing and online campaigns to generate cash, regular giving and Gift Aid.
- Plan, research and implement all aspects of direct marketing aimed at acquiring and retaining new and existing supporters.
- Establish a robust donor stewardship strategy, building strong relationships with existing and potential donors and increasing donor retention and engagement
- Lead on the cultivation and stewardship of partnerships with churches.
- To manage the direction and relationship with our Trust and Foundation consultants by collaborating in the research, writing and submitting targeted Trust applications and report on grants awarded.
- Work with the team to support the legacy giving strategy, to maximise long-term income.
- To have oversight of the in-house CRM database (Microsoft D365). Work with the team to develop competency in the effective use of our CRM database as part of our donor stewardship and reporting structure.
- To assist and promote ICCs presence at fundraising and other events.
- Manage the ongoing development and implementation of a regular giving strategy and donor care to reduce attrition rates.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate direct marketing campaigns, Trust fundraising, recurring giving and legacy fundraising, provide results and feed the learning back into the organisation.
- To keep abreast of key issues and best practices within the direct marketing/fundraising sector.
- Ensure fundraising practices comply with GDPR, the Data Protection Act and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
- Undertake additional duties as requested.
- Line manage the Insight Fundraising Officer and lead our Trusts and Foundations partner.
Fundraising Campaigns and Events
- Plan, coordinate, and manage our annual fundraising event.
- Support the Executive Director on other events.
- Project manage our newsletter and appeal campaigns.

About Breadwinners
Breadwinners is a multi-award-winning social enterprise and charity that supports young people seeking asylum and refugees to have their first work experience in the UK, selling organic baked goods. Since 2016, we have steadily grown, and we are looking for our first Senior Fundraising Manager to help us take the next step in our growth journey. Breadwinner's unique model provides work, training and personal mentors, so that young refugees can start and progress in their careers, using our platform as a stepping stone. We achieve this goal through three consecutive programmes, using our award-winning bread stalls in markets across London and Brighton and wholesale for socially-minded cafes and restaurants.
Over the last 7 years, we have made a significant impact in supporting over 744+ programme participants, with an impressive 93% reporting notable improvements in their overall well-being, 76% of our Breadwinners programme participants progress into work, further education or volunteering, and all this while minimising our Carbon Footprint by 20.5% through the sale of organic goods. This year, we are planning to double our impact with young refugees, with recently secured funding, new markets, and a focus on our wholesale model.

Identify and research new funding opportunities to build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.

We are looking for an Interim Director of Research (Maternity Cover) who will lead a talented research team of staff and associates providing direction and oversight for a diverse, ambitious research portfolio. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play an essential role in strategy and have a hands-on approach from quality assurance and developing research practice, to managing projects and nurturing partnerships.
You will need to have deep roots in qualitative research, as well as the work of charities and funders, with experience of line management, team supervision and leading on new work development.

As Interim Director of Research, you will lead a motivated and talented team of research staff and freelance research associates. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing a strategic and balanced research portfolio, including leadership of project design and new work development.

THE ROLE
The Development Manager will proactively develop programme ideas into winnable proposals and progress income from institutional donors as well as trusts and foundations. Reporting to the Global Development Director, the successful candidate will be a self-starter with the relevant experience, skills and relationships to develop a portfolio of prospects and grantmakers. You will work as part of a collaborative and friendly development team and work closely with programmes to develop new ideas and applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new ideas for business development and submit to institutional and/or trusts & foundations as appropriate
- To work with programme teams to submit timely proposals in response to calls including proposal development and coordinating the proposal administration process
- Work closely with the programme teams to identify and respond to new opportunities for their portfolios and develop existing relationships in collaboration with IWPR programmes
- Contribute to the development team and overall organisational income targets
- Develop strategies for engaging new prospective donors – including foundations - through research
- Gather and share information on new potential funding and/or themes and contribute to the intelligence and MEL functions of IWPR with donor information and competitor mapping

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and senior department staff, as well as key contractors and vendors, to identify short- and long-term fundraising goals, objectives, and metrics, and effective strategies to meet those goals

Work with all department staff to ensure strong morale, effective team building, and intradepartmental communications

Work with PETA and other PETA entities to increase online and e-mail donations, direct-mail and telemarketing donations, prize-led fundraising, and net income

Support the Vice President of International Fundraising to develop and implement strategies to solicit major gift income and planned gifts for PETA and other PETA entities

Develop PETA’s and other PETA entities' annual direct mail/telemarketing and online/e-mail fundraising budgets, including setting specific fundraising goals and benchmarks

Work closely with the Vice President of International Fundraising and the Events team to develop a schedule of donor events, both in-person and virtual, for PETA and other PETA entities

Serve as a liaison between PETA US' Policy and Marketing departments and the PETA Foundation's (US) Production, Legal, and IT departments for all direct-response fundraising projects and content, including privacy, technology, and design issues

Ensure that all international direct-response fundraising efforts are streamlined and coordinated to make the best use of resources and minimise duplication of efforts

Identify new technologies, fundraising programs, staffing requirements, and strategies to boost net income across the department and the organisation

Work with the PETA Foundation's (US) Development team to coordinate and integrate fundraising campaigns globally

Provide back-up and support as requested by the Vice President of International Fundraising

As Project Manager, you will serve as PSI’s primary assurance and finance specialist for the Collaborative. This is an exciting and wide-ranging role which offers exposure to senior stakeholders within and beyond the University. Working closely with the Senior Programme Manager and the NDM Director of Compliance & Assurance you will support the management of a budget of up to $80 million, reviewing overseas expenditure, preparing f financial reports, and coordinating annual re-budgeting processes. The role will involve analysing and interpreting complex financial data, maintaining detailed trackers and documentation, supporting with risk management, , and ensuring effective communication across diverse programme stakeholders. Some international travel to Africa will be required.
We are looking for an individual with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, proven experience managing assurance, compliance and finance activities within complex international programmes, and a solid grasp of financial systems and processes. You should be highly skilled in Excel and able to prepare, monitor and forecast large, activity-based budgets. The role requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the confidence to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders and committees. You should be comfortable influencing, challenging, and guiding decisions in a collaborative way, with well-developed problem-solving skills and an interest in global health and/or international development.
It is essential that you hold a degree in a relevant subject, and that you have. experience working in resource-constrained settings and/or within complex international partnerships. Experience gained in higher education or research settings and a professional finance or assurance qualification (completed or in progress) would be an advantage.

Job Purpose
The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Key Responsibilities
Programme and Network Delivery:
- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.
- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including resolving operational issues and escalating as needed.
- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.
- Monitor programme, network, and hub data to identify risks and/or trends, providing regular reports and updates to support the continuous improvement of our activities.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Work with the Challenge Partners Central Team to ensure an excellent experience for partners and help schools maximise their partnership value.
- Support the induction and onboarding of new schools to their hubs and the National Network of Excellence.
- Troubleshoot and respond to school or trust queries through internal customer care systems.
- Utilise and update our CRM system (Salesforce).
Communications:
- Respond to email and phone queries about Challenge Partners, programmes, networks, and hubs professionally and promptly.
- Collaborate with programme, network, and partnership leads to provide high-quality communications to partner schools, including renewals, induction, onboarding, engagement emails, and hub updates.
Recruitment and Retention:
- Support year-round recruitment of schools to the Network of Excellence, working with hubs to deliver introductory events.
- Provide updates on schools in your hub to inform retention campaigns.
- Manage leads within your hubs, connecting schools with local hubs and Jubilee Networks.
