Our training programme significantly improves the ability of domestic abuse professionals and other frontline responders and organisations, including police, children’s social care staff, and corporate HR and community teams, to identify and respond to domestic abuse and closely linked issues. We take a holistic approach, looking at the whole family and the connections between them to keep families safe sooner. We offer a whole range of training products, including accredited professional training (e.g. Idva, Ypva), accreditation of specialist DA services (Leading Lights), and bespoke services for public, voluntary and commercial organisations.

Through a licensing process, we partner with youth organisations and support them in their delivery of our programmes to their young people. These organisations range from schools and colleges to local authorities, charities, secure units, and community organisations.
We have recently launched our new strategy for the next five years, Youth Without Limits, which will ensure the DofE is open to all young people aged 14-24 across the UK, and that our participants reflect the most diverse generation of young people ever.
What is the role?
This is a Fixed Term Contract until the 31st of March 2025.
Working within our values and behavioural framework, the role involves closely managing the relationships of our partner organisations (known as Licensed Organisations – LOs) and ensuring those within your portfolio offer quality and inclusive DofE programmes to young people.
While managing these relationships, across your portfolio area you will also identify and develop new relationships with appropriate educational and community organisations to widen the access of the DofE to young people, particularly those who experience marginalisation.
You will be undertaking regular meetings, in person and virtually, engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders at different levels within different organisations across your portfolio area. When not out at meetings, you will be working from home.
Whilst you won’t be working directly with young people, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are having a positive impact on their future opportunities.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a team player who has a passion for the development of young people and who will be enthusiastic, who can engage and influence a variety of stakeholders and who will be an authentic ambassador for the DofE.
You will need to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders and have the skills to inspire and influence them to enable young people to participate in DofE.
To undertake the role, you’ll need to be exceptionally organised, have the ability to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and have excellent administrative skills, being both computer literate and competent in MS Office applications.
We are looking for someone who is flexible in their approach, has a positive outlook and who will actively contribute to our team.

About the Role
Aesop are seeking an Interim Chief Executive to work with the Chair, to ensure that Aesop’s charitable vision, mission and strategic plans are developed and delivered effectively and sustainably. The Chief Executive will ensure the charity is well administered and meets its governance responsibilities. About you

The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, Dorset.
The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites in and around Dorset. Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

About the role.
As a member of the Cathedral Leadership Team and as the senior operational manager of Wells Cathedral, the COO is responsible for the delivery of the Chapter’s strategy and plans and for the day-to-day coordination of operations in the context of the ministry and mission of the Cathedral. Reporting to the Dean of Wells and accountable to the Chapter of Wells Cathedral, this is a full-time role which requires a presence onsite to carry out the duties effectively. The Chapter is the Board of Trustees for the Cathedral. It is the administrative body of the cathedral with the ultimate responsibility for directing and overseeing its affairs. They, alongside the COO, set the strategic direction for the Cathedral.
The principal responsibilities of the COO are to:

As Local Mobilisation Officer, you will support the delivery of our ambitious programme to mobilise food banks in the Trussell network to campaign for change. You will support the development and delivery of campaign content and resources for our food bank network, leading on specific elements as required and ensuring people with lived experience are at the heart of their campaigning. You will be a central point of contact for food banks engaged in Trussell policy campaigns, working with them to ensure that content and actions are accessible to our whole network. You will work with colleagues from across Trussell Trust and work closely with our Senior Manager for OLM and our OLM Development Manager.
Role responsibilities
· Development of high-level campaigns content:
Supporting content creation for communications to food banks, briefings, training sessions, and other digital and physical resources. Lead on specific elements/projects as required.
· Liaising with Food banks on campaign action development and delivery:
Ensuring that food banks have: a direct point of contact as actions are developed and during mobilisation periods for queries, and receive support and campaign materials on time. Support food banks and Trussell colleagues that support them to give feedback on the development of campaigning training, resources, and support.
· Development of assigned mobilisation strategic projects:
Support various strategic projects within the OLM team to mobilise food banks to campaign more effectively.
· Support the OLM team to develop robust participation structures for Organising and Mobilising:
Ensuring that people with lived experience are at the heart of food bank network’s campaigning, ensuring content is accessible for a diverse range of audiences.
· Identify patterns and trends from the food bank network’s local and regional campaigning activity, and feedback on these.
Your understanding of the food bank network will help the voices, needs and culture of the network to inform our mobilisation work.

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver live training workshops as part of our Safer Gambling Training and Worksafe programmes. It will also involve the live facilitation of Lived Experience sessions with our Experts by Experience.
This role gives the postholder the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by gambling harms, by educating gambling operator staff and workplace colleagues to be able to better spot the early markers of harm, and to interact in a more effective manner.
A strong facilitator and communicator, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record. You will confidently learn new content and skills as required and able to deliver exceptional in-person or virtual training to diverse audiences. Being interactive, engaging and able to read the room are essentials for this role. You’ll be curious, and always thinking about how you can improve your delivery and the experience of our customers.
As a self-employed Associate Trainer, acceptance of work offered will be dependent on availability and other commitments. We currently offer between 1-4 days contracted work per month, although we anticipate this will increase.

Raising Futures Kenya is an award-winning small UK charity, working closely alongside a wonderful partner NGO in Kenya to deliver a hugely successful vocational training and business skills programme called Seed of Hope.
Since 2002 Seed of Hope has supported over 4,000 disadvantaged young people aged 14-25 in Kenya with the opportunity to learn a skilled trade, computer skills and business skills. Many of these young people are unable to finish their formal education as they are experiencing poverty, so our courses are completely free, to ensure no-one is excluded from the opportunity to learn.
Our free training courses also address any of the barriers which may stop a young person from being able to learn. We offer the Seed of Hope students in Kenya;

We’re here to support young people with whatever they need in order for them to achieve their best in their training course and to go on to secure a job, or start a small business.
We are looking for a talented storyteller and writer to join our small team in the UK and create exceptional content. You’ll support with crafting engaging funding applications, which stand out from the crowd and capture the funders hearts. You’ll create bright and positive social media and blog posts to share the uplifting stories of students and graduates from Seed of Hope and grow our online supporter base, in turn increasing our donors.
We don’t mind if you don’t have charity experience, we’re willing to train you and show you what we do. We are looking for someone who can write excellent content and showcase what we do.
Hours: 14 hours per week, to be worked as either full 7 hour days, or spreading the hours across the week. Regular days and hours to be agreed in advance.
Salary: £28,000 (pro-rata for 14 hours a week)
Pension: 3% employer contribution, 5% employee contribution (opt-out available).
Contract: 1 year fixed term contract. With a view to making it permanent if resources allow.
Base: The role will be home-based and require your own computer. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, expenses will be paid in accordance with our Expenses Policy. Our other 2 part-time staff are based in Sussex, but you can be anywhere in the UK. You must have the right to work in the UK.

FareShare South West is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. Purpose of role
FareShare South West’s (FSSW) fundraising need and strategy has developed and diversified rapidly in line with major growth since 2017. Trusts and Grants make up a significant percentage of FSSW’s annual fundraised income.
The Trusts and Grants Officer (TO) will be responsible for managing our portfolio of small grants (up to £15k) alongside supporting larger grant applications where appropriate. This involves researching available funding opportunities, maintaining a prospect list and applying to relevant opportunities. The TO will work with the Fundraising Manager (FM) to create compelling fundraising applications for both core funding and specific projects. They will be responsible for the stewardship of their funders, ensuring that they meet reporting guidelines, share impact data appropriately and keep funders updated of any project changes.
This role will suit an individual with excellent writing skills looking to develop their skills in the charity sector.
