We're building a diverse community of tutors passionate about educational equity. We are seeking dedicated volunteers from all walks of life to tutor and support pupils facing socio-economic disadvantage in maths and English.
As a volunteer tutor, you’ll:

Tutor a group of 1-3 pupils (primary or secondary), with options to support online or in-person.

Dedicate just one hour a week for a 10-20 week programme.
We provide the resources - you bring your enthusiasm! You’ll use our workbooks to deliver your sessions.
Whether you're a university student, a working professional, retired or simply looking to give back, your hour a week can open doors to brighter futures for these young people and make a lasting impact.

The role: Our scholars are eager to meet graduates and professionals who can support them in achieving their ambitions. Mentors are mainly responsible for providing support and career advice to pupils. Mentors must also be committed to supporting us at our events, which take place in the evenings and on Saturdays throughout the term. Trustee

Our client is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join the esteemed board of trustees of their Foundation. Since its inception, the Foundation has reached over 2 million people in 100 countries through 89 partnerships, advancing progress towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and strategic leader who brings:
- Leadership experience, ideally within a corporate or family foundation, or through close collaboration with businesses
- A strong understanding of how decisions are made in business or family enterprise settings, with appreciation for how philanthropy, brand and commercial objectives intersect
- A proven track record in fundraising, particularly in securing and growing income through corporate partnerships, as well as exploring diversified income streams
- Deep understanding of the UK charity sector, governance and regulatory context
- Expertise in advocacy and engagement, with the ability to build networks, act as a connector and amplify the Foundation’s work
Due to the current composition of the board, the new trustee must be UK based.

We are looking for a team member to find published materials related to Quilombo UK key objectives and interests, especially cultural and racial diversity, and stereotypes in UK communities. The materials include all types of evidence, articles, journals, newspaper columns, local and global news stories.

The researcher will help to collect information that can be used as an evidence base to help inform future activities, and also in exhibitions, workshops, and community events.

We are looking for a self-starter who can source, collect, and share relevant materials independently. You will also be working closely with our Professional Development Programme participants in relevant areas such as Marketing and PR.

The Professional Development Programme with Quilombo UK runs over a period of 16 weeks, is UNPAID and requires a minimum of 12 hours commitment per week across Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.
Upon successful application, our HR team will contact you to arrange an interview. Following a successful interview, we'll initiate the onboarding process by sending you the necessary documents. Once your onboarding and identification documents are received and verified, you'll be invited to a 6-hour HR and System Induction. Subsequently, you'll meet with your Head of Department or Assistant Manager for your First Day.

Overview
In partnership with a second, and possibly third Leader, you will lead a Fire (Group) of 8-12 Young Explorers. The Knowledge Leader should combine science and creative activities to help Young Explorers better understand the unique wilderness they explore, and develop curiosity for the future. To achieve this, it is the responsibility of the Senior Knowledge Leader, Knowledge Leaders and the collaboration of all leaders to design and deliver a programme of inspirational, educational projects.
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Able and passionate about leading, inspiring, and facilitating sessions with young people.
- Comfortable spending extended periods in remote and sometimes harsh environments.
- Able to commit to all pre-expedition training events.
As a charity, all Leader positions are undertaken on a voluntary basis and Leaders join for the intrinsic value of adventure, education, and personal development of young people. You do not have to fundraise to lead on our expeditions.

As a coach, you will support managers to improve their leadership abilities, build confidence, and enhance their effectiveness in their roles. Your coaching will help them tackle challenges such as personal effectiveness, leadership credibility, career development, and conflict resolution. By providing guidance and encouragement, you will play a key role in helping managers grow, develop new skills, and lead their teams more effectively.
What you will be doing
- Deliver coaching sessions for managers at various levels, from team leads to department heads.
- Provide a safe, open, and confidential space for coaching conversations focused on leadership, communication, conflict resolution, managing change, and interpersonal skills.
- Use clear and effective coaching methods and models.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow Hestia’s coaching programme guidelines.
- Define clear roles for both the coach and coachee, ensuring there are no conflicts of interest.
The skills you need
- A recognised coaching qualification (or currently studying towards one), such as ICF or EMCC, or significant coaching experience at a management level.
- Experience in the social care sector (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to participate in supervision and continuous learning.
- A friendly, approachable, and supportive manner.
- Understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
