Job description

Unlocking Potential. Transforming Futures.

At REMIX, a youth social mobility charity, we believe that a young person's future should be determined by their potential, not their postcode. Our mission is to "remix young lives" from disadvantaged backgrounds across London by breaking down barriers and building up belief. We exist to ignite confidence, nurture resilience, and equip young people with the life skills they need to thrive.

Through transformative experiences, inspiring role models, and unwavering support, we empower young Londoners to discover the power of their own potential. As we prepare to launch, we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our founding board of trustees.

Join Our Founding Board of Trustees

We are seeking passionate and committed trustees to help us establish a strong foundation and guide our strategic direction. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new charity from the ground up and make a significant impact on the lives of young people in London.

In this vital setup phase, you will be instrumental in:

  • Strategic Leadership: Working with the founder to define and refine our vision, mission, and long-term strategy, ensuring we are on a clear path to achieving our goals.

  • Governance and Compliance: Ensuring REMIX operates with the highest standards of governance, financial management, and legal compliance.

  • Fundraising and Networking: Leveraging your networks and expertise to help secure the financial resources needed to launch and sustain our programs.

  • Impact and Evaluation: Helping to develop a framework for measuring our impact and ensuring we are effectively serving our beneficiaries.

We are looking for individuals who can offer a diverse range of skills and experiences, whether in finance, legal, marketing, youth work, or the third sector. Your unique perspective will be invaluable as we build a diverse and effective board.

This is a voluntary role for individuals who are passionate about social mobility and committed to making a difference. We are flexible and can work with your availability as we build the charity from the ground up.

Help us build the governance and strategic framework that will enable us to "remix young lives" across London.

Together, we’re not just changing lives—we’re rewriting futures.

Join us. Be the difference. Help us build a London where every young person has the chance to rise.

EMPOWER. INSPIRE. TRANSFORM.
