We are looking for a creative and motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about marketing, social media, and digital communications and is eager to develop their expertise and experience in a friendly and flexible organisation.

This role will collaborate closely with the rest of the Marketing and Communications team, contributing to a range of projects and campaigns. 
Through this collaboration, you will receive guidance and support in developing your skills, offering a unique opportunity to work creatively on real projects.

Contract terms:

Summary of key duties:

Social media management: 

· Assist in the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn). 

· Work with the Events and Marketing Coordinator to create the monthly content calendars.

· Monitor social media channels for trends, engagement, and opportunities to interact with our audience. 

· Respond to comments, messages, and mentions to maintain a positive and engaging online presence. 

· Track and analyse the performance of social media posts and campaigns using analytics tools. 
 

Website management: 

· Format, edit and maintain content on our CMS, WordPress. 

· Liaise with the Trust's web developer for ongoing website development, ensuring an effective and accessible web user experience. 

· Build and manage online forms and surveys. 

· Monitor and share engagement data with colleagues to inform marketing and communication plans. 

Content creation: 

· Format documents and reports for internal and external audiences. 

· Design and create visual content for digital and print channels. 

· Commission accessible formats, including BSL and Easy Read. 

· Collaborate with the team to develop new content ideas and campaigns that align with our brand voice and goals. 

 

Administrative and logistical support: 

· Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as updating contact lists and maintaining marketing databases. 

· Liaise and assist with scheduling for external photography and film contractors. 

· Liaise with commercial printers and providers of collateral materials. 

· Manage the Trust's photography and film media library. 

· Administration of photography and film permissions data.

Summary of skills

• Strong IT skills (demonstrable proficiency in using MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint). 

• Experience using a cloud-based website platform (e.g., WordPress) 

• Proficient in Adobe Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, PDF Editor and Illustrator. 

• Good knowledge of emerging trends within the digital marketing field.

Using a Biopsychosocial model and working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), you will deliver high-quality, holistic support to help clients achieve stability and move forward in their lives.

• Providing personalised support to clients with multiple disadvantage, including poly-substance misuse, mental health concerns, and histories of trauma.
• Conducting needs and risk assessments, and work collaboratively to develop and implement support plans.
• Promoting harm minimisation and recovery, enabling clients to set and work towards their own goals.
• Supporting clients to develop life skills, manage relationships, build social networks, and access external services and community resources.
• Facilitating group activities and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme.
• Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, coordinating with other professionals to create integrated care plans.

About you:

• Experience of working with multiple disadvantage individuals, including those with substance use, mental health issues, or histories of offending and trauma.
• Proven ability to provide personalised assessments, support planning, and casework.
• Strong understanding of the challenges that disrupt clients' journeys towards independence, such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and domestic violence.
• Excellent crisis management skills and the ability to respond effectively to challenging situations.

Age UK Westminster is seeking a Digital Inclusion Coordinator to join our home visiting digital inclusion team funded by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster Social Isolation project supports and enhances existing Older Adult Mental Health services provided by CNWL by providing targeted outreach digital inclusion support to vulnerable older people with the aim of reducing the impact of loneliness and isolation. The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.  

Our vision is a London where no one goes hungry and good food is never wasted. 

We rescue surplus food from businesses, supermarkets, restaurants and farms. This food is nutritious, in-date, and safe and includes a high proportion of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish. If we did not rescue this food, it would be at risk of going to waste. Instead, we deliver it free of charge to London charities, schools, food banks, COVID food hubs and other organisations serving people in need. Purpose of the Job

Based for a minimum of 3 days per week in one of our operational warehouses you will help support Felix’s mission through the development of a network of charities, community groups and other key stakeholders involved supporting vulnerable Londoners across London. Your work will help to build the network’s capacity to accept and distribute food through our depot operations, Green Scheme & Felix Connect and non-food items through Felix’s Multibank. 

Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager the Community Coordinator’s role will focus on Felix’s school holiday provision. You will be involved in the set-up, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of the different programmes throughout the year that provides more than 10 million meal equivalents to families across the 13-week school holidays. Developed from Felix’s regular food delivery models to operate at scale innovation has been part of the development of these programmes. As the Community Coordinator you will be expected to help drive the evolution of the provision and where relevant help deploy as part of our business-as-usual delivery.

You will support your peers, the depot and operational teams, responding to enquiries from the community network to help ensure the smooth flow of food and non-food items whilst delivering excellent customer service. This will include ensuring recipients of our food are compliant with all relevant legislation and guidance as required by our food partners and food business operators. 

You will also help us to effectively monitor and evaluate our growth against our strategic objectives through robust data collection, monitoring and updating using our CRM system.

About the Role:

The Assessment Coordinator is the conduit for young people to access the youth accommodation pathway in Greenwich.  As well as triage and intake, the role supports young people by navigating their journey either by facilitating their safe return home, or into longer term suitable supported accommodation.

You will provide specialist assessment and interventions for a designated caseload. You will provide mediation where needed and advise/ facilitate restorative work with the young person and their family. 

About you:

• You have two years’ experience of assessing the needs of young people in a residential/ accommodation setting. 
• Proven experience and skills in delivering casework and planned support for young people. 
• A strong understanding and practical knowledge relating to issues that typically disrupt progress in journeys towards independence.  E.g. mental health, substance use, self-harm, domestic violence, anger management etc 
• Evidence an ability to navigate between and across specialties whilst working with clients to create a multi-agency support plan. 
• The ability to work within systems and families, to enable young people (that can) to return home.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

Pure Insight support young people leaving children’s homes and foster care (care leavers) between the age of 16 – 28. Young Care leavers are some of the most vulnerable young people in our society; many leave school with few qualifications and a significant number are unemployed, living in inadequate housing, and experience poor health and levels of poverty. Nationally 25% of female care leavers become parents between 16 -18 years of age and 50% by the age of 24.

Adjusting to parenthood must happen simultaneously whilst they are still in the process of transitioning out of care or adapting to independent living. Coping with the stressful demands of learning to take care of themselves and a baby at such a young age, whilst often still struggling to make sense of unstable, often chaotic childhoods, can leave little space for engaging with services in the wider community. Instead, many care leavers struggle with poor self-esteem. Isolated and lonely, they may lack the confidence, social skills and social network to join new parenting groups in their community.

Additionally, time spent in the care system can make care leavers reluctant to ask for and accept support. Becoming a parent can be the most rewarding experience in the world, but all parents need support networks to thrive as a family.

The post of Parent Coordinator is an established role. The role is to take full responsibility for certain aspects of the projects work, as detailed below. About this vital role

Our Pantry project will support and engage with individuals and families providing them with positive empowering support to address issues such as wellbeing, housing, debt, and employment.  People using the Pantry pay a weekly subscription and, in return, are able to access an abundance of affordable, nutritious food and added support. 

The Pantry Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the Pantry, including carrying out and complying with all health and safety procedures and policies, ensuring stock is stored and managed in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations and providing nutritional and meal planning support and where needed healthy eating plans.

As well as supporting, managing and working alongside a team of volunteers, you will also positively support clients with a range of practical issues, including benefits and debt advice and wellbeing, provide emotional support around areas such confidence building and developing resilience, plus develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies.  Managing the completion of all new client inductions, including Initial Needs Assessments, Risk Assessments and Action Plans, and promoting the service within the local community, arranging promotional events as needed, are also key duties.

• Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene and Advice and Guidance Level 3 qualification
• Knowledge of food storage and hygiene best practices, including stock rotation principles
• An understanding of variety of cooking techniques and the ability to advise others on how to cook on a budget

Our Activity Service 

The Activity Service is an important part of our organisation, delivering high quality activities to the older people of Merton. Our Activity team create and deliver a wide range of activities including a daily lunch club, crafting, poetry, singing and exercises at our centre in Mitcham and other locations across the borough of Merton.

The Activity service is busy and vibrant where no two days are the same, the service has over 10,000 attendees a year, taking part in over 700 activities and exercise classes. The service enables our community to live more healthily, happily and independently in later life. 

Age UK Merton is in its second year of a new 3-year Strategic Plan, which aims to increase outreach and engagement across the borough, and our activities programme is a very important part of that.

We are recruiting an Activity Coordinator to support the Activity Service Manager in the delivery and development of the Activity service. 

The Activities Coordinator will be a hands-on role, working with the team to deliver a wide range of activities both existing and new at our centre and across the borough of Merton.

The role will play a key part in organising the delivery of existing activities, ensuring they are delivered to an exceptional standard with the service users at the heart of the service. 

The role will on occasion deputise for the Activities Service manager, overseeing both the team and the delivery of activities. This role will play an important part to increase our outreach across Merton.

Responsible to: Activity Service Manager

Based at: Elmwood Centre in Mitcham and various locations across Merton. This role requires the delivery of activities in person at our centre. 

Contract: Permanent

Age UK Merton supports over 3,000 older people a year, our mission is to provide quality advice and services that meet the needs of older adults in Merton.

Key Result areas 

• Innovate, develop, and deliver a wide range of new and existing activities for service users. 

• Encourage clients to attend and participate in a range of activities

• Welcome all clients who attend the activity centre and enable them to engage in activities. 

• Deputizing for the Activity Centre Manager. 

• Create and collate feedback from service users. 

• Identify and develop existing volunteer roles within the Activity Service.

• Work collaboratively with other Age UK Merton Services and teams to provide help and advice to clients who are identified as needing additional support.

• Building strong collaborative relationships with external partners who deliver exercise classes. 

Organisation and Coordination of Activities 

• To organise the delivery of all activities and exercise classes in the centre. 

• To be actively involved in the ongoing development and design new activities held across the borough. 

• To support the planning and development of Age UK Merton’s quarterly activity guide to include all events at Age UK Merton. 

• To plan and coordinate the distribution of the activity guide across the borough. 

• To encourage the attendance of activities to new and existing clients. 

Volunteers 

• Working with the Volunteer Service identify and develop roles and responsibilities of volunteers who support the Activity team. 

• To coordinate and organise the team of volunteers who support the Activity service. 

Administrative Duties  

• Responsible for daily banking and reconciliation of cash for all activities. 

• Introduce new ways to pay for activities such as online bookings. 

• Take bookings for all activities and input details on to the CRM. 

• Answer telephone enquiries for the Activity centre. 

• Greet all clients and volunteers attending the Activity centre. 

Data Capture, Evaluation and Reporting.  

• Respond to feedback and suggestions from clients to develop activities. 

• Keep records up to date on the CRM for attendees of all activities. 

• Working with the Activity Service Manager to expand the delivery of activities into areas of the borough not currently served. 

• Working with the Activity Manager to develop client feedback opportunities. 

• Support the Activity Manager to identify and write up case studies for funding applications. 

• Use the CRM to run reports to support funding bids and reporting. 

General  

• Establish good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders and liaise as required Comply at all times with the policies and procedures of Age UK Merton. 

• Ensure that Age UK Merton’s Equal Opportunities policies, principles and practices are observed and implemented throughout service delivery. 

• Carry out any other relevant tasks as required, to ensure the effective development of the organisation and the delivery of its services, this may include supporting weekend and out of hours events for time off in lieu. 

• Attend staff meetings and personal supervision and appraisal meetings. 

• Be aware of own training needs and participate in training/education to improve performance considered relevant to the post and to achieve agreed targets.

About the role

The Reaching the Last Mile Africa (RLM) programme is a significant, intricate initiative spanning multiple countries and years, dedicated to eradicating onchocerciasis and lymphatic filariasis (OV and LF).

The primary objective of this position is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the RLM programme. This will be achieved by coordinating administrative and support systems, procedures, and sub-teams essential for the programme’s management.

Principle Accountabilities

• Ensure professional support for all external NTD meetings with donors and international partners, including logistics, room bookings, agendas, slides, recording, virtual participation, and minute documentation and distribution.
• Coordinate support for regular internal RLM meetings, such as bi-weekly calls, by managing invites, agendas, and minutes.
• Assist with large-scale events organised by RLM, including drafting and sending invites, liaising with the event organisation team, and supporting agenda and materials development.
• Assemble information for presentations, communications, and reports, and manage internal document storage systems (Microsoft SharePoint and Teams).
• Support the RLM team, NTDs Directorate, and Institutional Funding Team in compiling key donor milestone reports and other programme outputs, coordinating reviews, presentation, and distribution.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the RLM Systems Strengthening Committee, including liaising with members, scheduling meetings, preparing slides, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action points.
• Provide travel support to the Executive Director, Deputy Director and SPO where requested.  Accurately handle all travel arrangements, including hotel reservation, flight reservations and ticket purchases, visas and other immigration requirements

Proficiency in using Microsoft SharePoint and Teams for document management is essential, along with excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. Jobholder Requirements

Essential:

• Relevant qualification in Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Significant experience in an administrative role within a reputable INGO or similar organisation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Highly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

Desirable:

• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to express information clearly and concisely.
• Tenacity to persevere with objectives until they are accomplished.
• Strong team working skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in speaking French is desirable.
