Tell My Truth and Shame the Devil C.I.C is a pioneering Podcast/YouTube Channel and healing membership organisation dedicated to providing a platform for survivors and whistleblowers to share lived experiences, expose systemic failures, and promote healing through culturally trauma-informed care.

We are a mission-driven, collective-focused C.I.C building a movement that combines healing, re-education, empowerment, and truth-based storytelling. Through our podcast, digital content, and community initiatives, we aim to challenge generational cycles, expose hidden truths, advocate for justice, and inspire transformation.

Job Purpose

The Volunteer SEO Strategy Manager will play a critical role in increasing the visibility, reach, and digital impact of our platform across search engines and online platforms.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing SEO strategies that help our podcast episodes, YouTube content, articles, campaigns, and educational resources reach wider audiences globally.

This role requires strategic thinking, creativity, research skills, digital awareness, organisation, and a passion for mission-driven storytelling and advocacy.

About the Role

The Volunteer SEO Strategy Manager will:

• Develop SEO strategies to increase website and content visibility
• Conduct keyword research related to:
  • whistleblowing
  • trauma healing
  • survivor advocacy
  • youth empowerment
  • institutional accountability
  • social justice topics
• Optimise podcast titles, descriptions, blog posts, YouTube content, and digital campaigns for search engines
• Research audience trends and search behaviours
• Support content discoverability across Google, YouTube, and social platforms
• Collaborate with content creators, editors, outreach teams, and production staff
• Monitor SEO performance and suggest improvements
• Help build long-term digital growth systems and audience engagement strategies

This role requires both analytical thinking and creativity, with the ability to ethically amplify sensitive, truth-based storytelling while respecting the organisation’s values and mission.

Main Responsibilities / Key Duties

• Develop and manage SEO strategies for podcast, YouTube, and website content
• Conduct keyword and competitor research
• Improve organic search rankings and audience reach
• Optimise metadata, titles, descriptions, tags, and website structure
• Analyse performance metrics and recommend growth opportunities

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the CEO and Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This role will involve working at the heart of the organisation, contributing to both strategic projects and routine administrative tasks.

Initially offered as a voluntary position, this opportunity has the potential to evolve into a salaried role as the organisation continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the CEO and Operations Manager.

• Assist with coordinating projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables achieved.

• Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation to support efficient workflows.

• Help track budgets, invoices, and expenses in coordination with the Operations Manager.

• Support meeting preparation, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.

• Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, events, and travel.

• Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners in a professional and timely manner.

The e-Assessment Association (eAA) is the leading professional membership body promoting better assessment through technology. We bring together awarding organisations, education providers, technology suppliers, researchers and policymakers to advance high-quality, innovative assessment practice in the UK and internationally.

What you’ll be doing

As Chair, you will:

Provide strategic leadership

• Lead the Board in setting the strategic direction of the Association and monitoring progress against agreed objectives.
• Support the long-term sustainability, relevance and impact of the eAA.

Ensure strong governance

Ensure the Association operates within its governance framework and complies with all statutory and fiduciary duties.
Foster a positive, inclusive and professional Board culture that encourages open discussion, diverse perspectives and collective decision-making.
Work closely with the Vice-Chair and other Directors to maintain continuity and effective governance processes.
Support and challenge the Executive

• Provide support, guidance and constructive challenge to the CEO and operations team.
• Oversee performance against strategic and operational goals.
• Review budgets, management accounts and strategic plans in collaboration with the Treasurer and executive team.

Represent and advocate

• Act as an ambassador for the Association with members, partners, sponsors and external stakeholders.
• Represent the eAA at key events, including the e-Assessment International Conference and Awards.
• Use your networks and credibility to enhance the Association’s profile and influence.

Essential experience and attributes

• Senior leadership experience within assessment, education or educational technology.
• A strong understanding of assessment principles and the role of technology in transforming assessment practice.
• Demonstrated Board-level governance experience, ideally within a company limited by guarantee, charity or membership organisation.
• Excellent chairing and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead a diverse Board effectively.
• Strategic thinking, integrity and the confidence to provide constructive challenge.
• Strong communication and ambassadorial skills.

Role summary

St Helena co-works with the Look Good Feel Better charity by hosting and providing workshops to our patients with a cancer diagnosis. These workshops give practical advice and support to people living with cancer and who face emotionally challenging experiences while living with cancer.

Every workshop offers an invaluable opportunity to talk to others in a similar situation, whilst helping support people with their changing appearance. People leave LGFB workshops feeling empowered, motivated and less isolated – allowing them to look good but feel even better. Applicants will need to register on the LGFB volunteer site if successful and subject to their approval.

Applicants must be over 18 years of age and an enhanced adult & child DBS check will be carried out for this role. 

Main duties of the role

• Provide LGFB workshops in accordance with the complementary therapy policy and procedure, as well as the code of ethics and practice.

• Assess patients’ treatment and documentation of given treatment and patient response.

• Uphold the confidentiality guidance in all matters relating to the patient or their family. 

• Be generally aware of patients’ needs and always ensure the dignity of the patients.

• Maintain good infection control practices at all times

• Prepare the LGFB workshop before and tidy away afterwards

• Adhere to the dress code requirements.

• Seek support and advice when needed.

• Provide feedback, including reports of any adverse effects, to the Complementary Therapy Lead.

• To undertake any other tasks as requested/deemed appropriate with the nature of the role.

• Complete all paperwork and feedback clearly and objectively

• Adhere to relevant and current protocols for the practice of the LGFB workshops. 

Training & supervision

We will provide you with the LGFB registration links, and any training links they expect as stated on the website.

Other training includes:

• There will be an induction to the hospice and all volunteers must undertake mandatory health and safety and equality and diversity training. In addition, all volunteers in a patient facing role have to undergo an enhanced Adult & Child DBS check, undertake safeguarding, accessing personal information (medical record information) and lone working training

• To undertake an induction into the LGFB workshops and CT team

• To attend meetings/supervision

Experience & qualifications required

• You will need to be qualified and hold the appropriate certifications in the relevant practice:

                                  o L2/L3+ Beauty therapy (with facial skin care and makeup units)

                                  o Work for a cosmetic brand, and 1+ years’ hands on experience in skincare and make-up application.

• You will also need plenty of enthusiasm, a positive attitude and the true desire to make a difference.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about public health, fundraising, and community engagement. As a Volunteer Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with various projects, educating the community, and helping to manage social media efforts to promote our mission.

Duties

• Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach events and fundraising activities.

• Support project management tasks by coordinating schedules, resources, and volunteer efforts.

• Educate community members about public health initiatives and available resources.

• Supervise volunteers during events to ensure smooth operations and provide guidance as needed.
