Senior PR & Communications Officer
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a fantastic health organisation to recruit a Senior PR & Communications Officer role. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver impactful communication strategies within the health sector, supporting the organisation's reputation and stakeholder engagement.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead strategic communication initiatives, fostering strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and the community. They will ensure messaging aligns with organisational goals and enhances visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive public relations and communication plans.
  • Manage media relations, including drafting press releases and responding to inquiries.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyse communication effectiveness.
  • Support events and campaigns to promote organisational initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector developments and public perception.
  • Collaborate across teams to align communication strategies with organisational priorities.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in public relations, media engagement, or corporate communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound understanding of media landscape and communication channels.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
