The Partnership Development Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK prides itself on delivering sector-leading partnerships. We are a friendly, collaborative, and ambitious team driven by our goal to fund vital dementia research and ultimately find a cure for dementia. 

Our Partnership Development Officer is responsible for establishing and managing some of our corporate partnerships under the guidance of the Partnership Development Manager (PDM). This role will hold and develop strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders within some of our highest-level corporate donors.

You’ll have some experience in relationship management and project management skills, as well as attention to detail and an organised approach to a busy and varied workload. These skills will have been developed in either a charity or corporate role.

The Partnership Development Team sits within the Corporate Fundraising function, which is part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships Directorate. We collaborate closely with all teams across the charity, so communication, collaboration, and strong relationship skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the PDM, hold responsibility for the account management for our corporate supporters. Acting as the day-to-day contact point for the company and its staff, overseeing all partnership activity, and ensuring the highest standard of supporter care at all times.

· Work closely with the PDM to implement new partnership set-ups, create and execute partnership engagement and fundraising calendars and reporting methods.

· Respond promptly and professionally to your accounts, ensuring high-level customer service is maintained from across the charity.

· With the support of the PDM, create and support Partner Charity Committees and Ambassador networks.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team.

· Effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders.

· Offer extensive, creative fundraising ideas to support partner companies, using support from the PDM and the wider Partnership Development Team.

· Assist with the organisation of innovative, engaging corporate fundraising events and attend events where relevant.

· Ensure partnership activity follows policies, procedures and regulations; and that each partnership follows the legal and accounting rules ARUK has in place.

· Ensure effective management of all partnership activity, clearly communicating progress.

· Support the PDM to identify and pursue opportunities to broaden and lengthen relationships, creating multifaceted partnerships.

· Together with the PDM, work closely with the communications team to create clear partnership communication plans and ensure corporate fundraising press opportunities are maximised and the impact is communicated clearly to the partner company.

· Achieve agreed financial and non-financial targets, to include partnership income and stewardship goals. Monitor and track quarterly changes against financial goals and ensure this is effectively communicated both externally and internally to inform quarterly re-forecasts.

· Work proactively with employees at all levels within the companies you are supporting to maximise potential income.

Support the PDM and Senior Partnership Development Manager (SPDM) in executing the corporate fundraising strategy for ARUK, to increase the team’s income.
 

· Work with the PDM to ensure that the most appropriate use is made of internal and external contacts to support the work of ARUK, identifying networking, influencing and engagement opportunities.

· Ensure the operational delivery of the Partnership Development Team’s strategy through your partnerships.

· Ensure new business prospects within partnerships are identified and passed to the New Business Team.

· Undertake project work as requested by the PDM to increase engagement with ARUK from within our corporate partners and develop Alzheimer’s Research UK’s offering to our partners. 

· Share any learnings with the team.​

Represent the charity professionally in a high-level corporate context
 

· When representing the charity externally, influence and engage external contacts at all levels to maximise corporate fundraising potential.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the dementia research field.

· Communicate confidently about the research we are funding and dementia/ARUK more broadly. Including presenting to large audiences.

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

· Building and maintaining high-level relationships through networking and influence both internally and externally. 

· Confidence working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

· Ability to ensure effective reporting with partnerships when tracking charity income via various sources, including our CRM system.

· Ability to execute projects from beginning to end under the guidance of a line manager.

· Experience in tracking income and identifying any risks or upside in target attainment.

· Good account management and relationship management skills in either a charity or corporate role; transferable sales or marketing skills also relevant.

· Effective planning, prioritisation and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

· Strong communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to corporate audiences.

· You work well as part of a team but are proactive and can work independently.

· A confident and friendly manner; would feel at ease representing the charity to high-level external contacts.

· Willingness and ability to travel independently in the UK and to work outside of regular office hours when needed.

Ways of working:

As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About the role

As Fundraising Manager, you will support income generation for Woman’s Trust, led by the Head of Fundraising (HOF). You will focus on securing five figure grants, corporate donations and community/public donations, and support the increase of or ganisational income from £1.2m to £3m in the next 3 years.

You will effectively communicate our services and campaign aims and develop funder partnerships and relationships aligned to our strategic priorities. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and see the direct impact of your work on people experiencing homelessness across London. As our first Philanthropy and Major Gifts Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Director of Fundraising to bring our new strategy to life, shaping how we engage major donors and grow a powerful community of supporters who are motivated to stand alongside Single Homeless Project (SHP) and our clients. Every relationship you build and every gift you secure will help create real opportunities for our clients to move away from homelessness and towards safety, stability and independence.

You will take the lead in developing and managing meaningful relationships with major donors, creating thoughtful and engaging journeys that bring them closer to our work and the difference it makes day to day. Our Organisation

Womankind Worldwide is a global women's rights organisation working in partnership with women's rights movements and organisations to transform the lives of women and girls. We strengthen and support women's movements in our focus countries in Africa and Asia, and take collective action at regional and global levels, to ensure women's voices are heard, their rights are realised, and their lives are free from violence.

Role Purpose

The Fundraising & Marketing team's purpose is to advocate for and raise flexible and unrestricted funding to enable Womankind to deliver it's 2030 organisational strategy.

This post will support the growth of trusts and foundations income by carrying out prospect research, preparing proposals and reports for small and medium-sized donors, and cultivating and stewarding new and existing donor relationships to secure long-term income for Womankind.

Areas of responsibilities:

• Prospect research – Co-ordinate the prospect research requirements for trusts and foundations, working closely with the Philanthropy Manager – Foundations, produce clear and relevant donor profiles and where relevant, make recommendations for donor cultivation and development

• Proposal and report development - Produce and send high quality, engaging and relevant applications and reports to trusts and foundations and develop and maintain efficient ways of keeping existing and prospective donors up to date and engaged on the work of Womankind.

• Donor relationship management - Establish and manage long term, effective and values-aligned relationships with existing and prospective trust and foundation donors by providing excellent donor and supporter care. Maintain prompt and personalised thanking to donors.

• Event management support - Work with the Philanthropy Manager – Foundations and Philanthropy Manager – Corporate Partnerships to coordinate a range of cultivation and engagement events for key donors including researching venues, co-ordinating invitation process and guest list management, liaising with relevant staff and post-event follow up.

Key relationships and collaboration:

• Internally: fundraising, grant making and feminist partnerships, communications, policy and advocacy and finance and resources

• Externally: Trusts and foundations, other donors, sector allies

Person Specification

Essential Experience:

• Minimum of two years experience in a fundraising role, with a focus on relationship-based fundraising, ideally trusts and foundations

• Experience and a proven track record of growing income from trusts and foundations

• Demonstrable experience of prospect research

• Proven ability to write compelling proposals and reports communicating complex project information to donors

• Proven ability to form good working relationships with colleagues across the organisation

• Proven experience using a fundraising database (ideally Beacon) to maintain accurate donor records, manage invitation guest lists for events, and extract data for donor reporting and prospect tracking

• Experience of fundraising for a UK based organisation

Essential Travel requirements: the role requires a willingness for occasional overseas travel. This may involve an overnight stay.

Desirable:

• An understanding of fundraising from corporate or major donors

• Experience of growing unrestricted income

• Experience fundraising for an intermediary funder or sub-granting programme

• Experience of organising donor events

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong presentation and communications skills with the confidence to deal with a range of stakeholders

Lead and Direct Income Generation and Future Fundraising for Swindon Food Collective

The role has key responsibility for all income generation activities at Swindon Food Collective. This includes high-profile networking with local businesses, corporations and the public sector, processing grant applications, growing and managing key corporate partnerships and significantly increasing fundraising activities. This is a senior role and the role-holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The work involves undertaking frequent travel to local corporations, businesses, and wider public sector stakeholders. 

Role Purpose
To design, deliver and secure a multi-stream recurring income generation strategy, manage charity-wide philanthropy, and strengthen long-term financial resilience.

Key responsibilities

Strategy and planning
• Develop and deliver a 12–24-month income generation plan aligned to SFC priorities and the Trustee Strategy & Fundraising Committee.
• Build a balanced income mix (corporate, philanthropy, trusts, community and digital where appropriate), with clear targets and resource assumptions.
• Produce compelling cases for support and pitch materials tailored to different audiences.

Corporate partnerships and sponsorship
• Identify, cultivate and secure corporate partnerships and sponsorships (including 'charity of the year' and payroll giving where feasible).
• Design partnership packages (benefits, brand alignment, staff engagement, volunteering) and manage delivery and stewardship.
• Work closely with the Brand Ambassador & Events Manager to convert event leads into partnership conversations. 

Philanthropy, major donors and relationship fundraising
• Build and steward relationships with high-value supporters, ensuring excellent donor care and personalised stewardship.
• Manage a prospect pipeline (research, cultivation plans, asks, stewardship and renewals).
• Coordinate CEO and trustee involvement in high-value relationships where appropriate. 

Trusts, foundations and grant fundraising
• Own the trusts and foundations pipeline, from identifying funders to writing compelling bids and submitting applications.
• Coordinate impact evidence and data collection across SFC to strengthen applications and reporting.
• Complete and undertake all funding and grant applications (corporate and public sector) in a timely fashion and ahead of relevant deadlines. Report funding progress to stakeholders. 
• Ensure timely and high-quality funder reporting and relationship management. 

Performance management, systems and compliance
• Manage income forecasting, budgeting and ROI tracking; set and monitor KPIs and provide clear reporting to CEO/Board.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM (or agreed system), ensuring GDPR compliance and strong data quality.
• Ensure fundraising activity aligns with relevant fundraising standards and ethical practice. 

Leadership and organisational contribution
• Senior Leadership Team member: contribute to organisational planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Work collaboratively across operations and volunteering functions to ensure fundraising promises align with delivery capability and safeguarding requirements.
• Coach and support colleagues and volunteers who contribute to income generation activity. 
• Other tasks as relevant / determined by the CEO. 
 

Job Title: Programme Funding Administrator 

Contract Type: 6 month fixed term (with the possibility of extending) 

Location: Hybrid WeWork Kings Cross office (minimum 3 days a week) / remote working (up to 2 days a week)

Salary: £30,500 (London Living Wage) 

Working Hours: Full time 40 (we are open to discussing the possibility of reduced hours, flexible start and finish times, or compressed hours) 

Role Purpose

The Programme Funding Assistant has four core functions:

1. Provide administrative support across a portfolio of income generation streams - Assist in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships and fundraising relationships, support the development of funding applications, managing donor requirements, reporting to donors, and analysing data.
2. Coordinate TASC’s granting programme - Managing all tasks associated with the annual granting cycle including communication to grantees, including identifying new grantees, supporting the contracting process and supporting the development of the Annual Impact Report. 
3. Provide administrative and research support across TASC’s programme portfolio (Illicit Trade, Education and Responsible Business)
4. General administrative support including TASC’s CRM system

Position in the organisation

• Reports to the CEO but works across all programme pillars to support effective fundraising and granting processes. 

Key Relationships

• Internal relationships - TASC team, consultants, contractors
• External relationships - Donors, grantee organisations

Main Responsabilities 

Will include, but are not limited to:

1. Grant and Donor Administration (50%) 

• Coordination of a portfolio of 5 and 6-figure donors or grantors, with oversight and support from the CEO, securing repeat donations and increasing support where possible
• Administration of existing grants, ensuring that terms are adhered to and reporting processes are managed effectively
• Administration of donor communications
• Support the development of proposals in line with the objectives and guidelines of the prospective grantor outlining why funding is needed, how the project will positively impact beneficiaries, and how the funds will be allocated and managed throughout the project
• Prospecting and researching all donor types (including major donors, corporates, and trusts and foundations) that have aligned priorities
• Lead the donor engagement calendar, including drafting communications and touch points to key donors throughout the year 

2. Granting (20%) 

• Supporting the drafting and processing of all contracts at the annual granting phase
• Coordinating communications to grantee organisations
• Administering the grantee reporting process
• Managing the collation of partner reports and support the drafting the Annual Impact report for the programme

3.Programmes (Illicit Trade, Education, and Responsible Business) (20%) 

• Undertake research across programme workstreams
• Support in the organisation and coordination of events both in the UK and internationally, this could include venue booking, guestlist coordination and liaising with vendors
• Monitor news reports related to forced labour in business supply chains and other programme areas 

4. General administration and management of the CRM (10%) 

• Coordinate meetings and managing the team and CEO calendar
• Report internally on portfolio of relationships and prospects from the CRM, keeping the CRM and internal information management systems updated with records, contact, confidence levels and forecasted donations.

Purpose of the Role: 

Fundraising plays an important role in the sustainability of Voice 21 and our ambitious new strategy aims to double our voluntary income to £2M by 2030. This new post of Fundraising Officer has been created to support the Head of Fundraising and wider leadership team with operations across high value fundraising streams – grant-making trusts and foundations, philanthropy and corporate partnerships. 

You will be responsible for researching potential funders, maintaining accurate records of fundraising contacts and activities, helping to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective funders, producing compelling reports for our funders and engaging communications for fundraising audiences, and creating and project managing inspiring engagement opportunities, including events, for current and prospective supporters.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in a fundraising team – or else bring compelling transferable skills from a comparable, external-facing role. You will need to demonstrate that you can build and maintain great relationships with people at all levels, both internally with colleagues across the organisation, and with external high value stakeholders. Competent organisational skills are a must, with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. You will obviously need excellent communication skills too, including being able to write well and edit wisely (without depending on AI!) 

This varied role will offer plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your high value fundraising experience. It would suit an ambitious, motivated fundraiser who is driven by Voice 21’s mission and is looking to develop their career in the sector.

Key Responsibility of the Role: 

• Researching grant-making trust and foundations, maintaining a prospect pipeline, and developing and submitting funding applications.

• Managing reporting cycles and producing reports for funders.

• Maintaining the fundraising database (Salesforce), ensuring departmental data is accurate and up to date. 

• Organising engagement opportunities, including events, for prospects and/or funders, with oversight from the Head of Fundraising.

This job will require that you have: 

Essential: 

• Good understanding of the fundamentals of high value fundraising, with some previous experience working in a fundraising team to raise income to a target. 

• Experience of researching potential funders/donors and of successfully identifying great leads/prospects.

• Excellent written communication skills, with ability to translate complex information into simple and compelling narratives appropriate for the intended audience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships at all levels.

Who you’ll work with: Your line manager will be the Head of Fundraising and you will work alongside a Corporate Partnership Lead. The fundraising team of 3 sits in the Operations Directorate.

Where you’ll work: All Voice 21 staff work remotely and this is a home-based role, with some travel expected to our London office (by Victoria station) and elsewhere for meetings. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on where you are based. Voice 21 pays all travel and accommodation expenses. 

Contract: Permanent, subject to successful probation review after six months.
