Job description

The Bikeability Trust are seeking to recruit a part-time member of staff to carry out quality assurance duties for a newly created ‘Recognised Delivery Centre’, responsible for delivering cycle instructor training across England.

The post-holder will be familiar with the vocational qualification landscape and will hold (at least) a Level 4 qualification in quality assurance.

They will oversee and maintain high standards of quality standards across all centre operations. This will include the delivery standards of the Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training by tutor/assessors, monitoring feedback and sampling training events.

They will also act as quality moderator for learner submissions, ensuring levels are graded correctly and ensuring standardisation for the tutor/assessor workforce.

The Quality Assurance Lead will oversee any learner appeals, access arrangements, and agree any recognition of prior learner with the assessor.
