Job description

Citizens Advice Rossendale & Hyndburn has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to lead on the delivery of the Crisis Support and Recovery Project,  funded for 3 years through the National Lottery Community Fund.  This will help us build on the work we’ve been doing over the last 5 years through our Help Through Crisis Project.

The Project Coordinator will support the project team to achieve project outcomes. We will work with local communities and partners in Rossendale & Hyndburn to support those experiencing financial hardship to overcome their problems, empower them to strengthen the communities in which they live and give a voice to those with lived experience.  This will be achieved through shared learning throughout the community, advice, advocacy and the development of the Influencers Group to have a strong voice and support others who have experienced the same.

The most suitable candidate will have the ability to positively and proactively lead a team to achieve its goals, be able to develop and implement a project plan, have the skills to communicate well with partners and be committed to involving service users in the development and delivery of project activities.  You will be passionate about making a difference in the local community and have a shared vision with what we are trying to achieve.

This work will involve regular travel in Rossendale and Hyndburn and occasional national travel.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from people from all backgrounds and with all different kinds of life experiences. We are a Disability Confident Employer and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role.

Please note that CVs will not be accepted without an application form.
