We're looking for a compassionate hard working individual to join our team. 

Positive Pathways out of Homelessness Worker

This exciting ‘Pathways out of Homelessness Worker’ post has been developed in partnership with and is partly funded by the Church Urban Fund and the Liz and Terry Bramall Foundation through Wellsprings.  We have also received grants from the Safer Communities Fund and National Lottery to provide outreach support for homeless EEA migrants with addiction issues and to connect clients into a range of social support.  As well as supporting our existing work this post enables us to further extend our services to provide further crisis and short-term interventions to a wider range of clients experiencing/or at risk of homelessness ensuring that clients accessing our services develop skills and resilience to live a sustainable life.

Applications for the post are invited from those who have the relevant skills, experience and passion by submission of a detailed CV and covering application letter.

Job Title: Positive Pathways out of Homelessness Worker

Line Manager: Hope Housing Manager/Trustees

Main Base: Hope Housing Office                               

Salary: £20,495 p.a. £10.51 per hour

Pension:  3% until you have completed two years of service.

5% once you have completed two years’ service.

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week/ Part-time applications also welcom

Contract: Open ended.

Clearance required:  Enhanced DBS check

Purpose of the Post:

  • To manage and provide support for clients in our supported tenancies to maintain their accommodation.
  • Provide outreach support to homeless people to support them in a pathway out of homelessness.
  • Connect beneficiaries into social support within the wider community, including recovery groups, walking groups, and other local activities.
  • Specialise working with EEA migrants with addiction issues to support them on a pathway out of homelessness.
  • As a member of the team to contribute to fulfilling Hope Housing's vision for the eradication of homelessness in Bradford.
