Job description

Domestic Abuse needs to stop. Help us make it happen.

Devon Domestic Abuse Support Service is an exciting and innovative project, delivering a range of domestic abuse services across Devon. Join us at a time of growth and development to support victims and children and help perpetrators change their behaviour.

We are now looking to recruit a full time Assessment and Early Interventions Advisor. The successful applicant will be part of an established and experienced team providing high quality advice, guidance and support to both victims and other professionals via the helpline.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting those experiencing domestic abuse, stalking and harassment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, passionate and motivated to help change lives for the better. Whilst we love experience, we also value transferable skills and welcome applications from anyone wanting to train in this specialist field.

POST: Assessment and Early Intervention Advisor

LOCATION: Exeter, with opportunity for hybrid working (home and office)

SALARY: £19,088 per annum

HOURS: 37.5 hrs per week

TENURE: 18 months fixed term contract, with potential for extension.
