Penarth, Cardiff 3.34 miles
£31000 - £35000 per annum
Job description

Permanent, full time position - 35 hours per week

Closing date: 22 October 2019

Interview date: 1 November 2019

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team at Marie Curie. This role, along with others like it across the UK, is being created to meet our strategic priority of better engaging those with an experience of, and affinity to, our cause. We are a genuinely local service, staffed and used by the people of the Cardiff. By better demonstrating this to the local community, we aim to truly engage them in our work, to generate the financial support we need.

As Fundraising Engagement Lead, you will build strong relationships with local Marie Curie staff, across both Caring Services and Fundraising and enable teams to work together more effectively. Externally, you will engage the wider community in Cardiff and Vale and beyond with the work of Marie Curie and show how crucial fundraising is for us to continue serving the community.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of quickly building relationships and credibility. You will be able to spot opportunities and act on them, adapting your approach as appropriate. You will be comfortable working with a high level of autonomy, but within the structures of a shared team strategy.

Please see job description for full details. Interested candidates should complete an online application form.
