Are you an experienced Major Gifts Fundraiser and Manager, with a track-record of leading teams to achieve ambitious targets and a desire to end homelessness?
We are looking for a motivated and experienced major gifts fundraiser to join our team as our Senior Philanthropy Manager.
This is a fantastic time to join St Mungo’s as we look to increase awareness of our work and change the homelessness landscape throughout England. In this crucial role, you will lead a team of four to grow income from individuals supporting St Mungo’s work at a transformational level and will help us meet an income target of £2.3 million in 2024-25.
In this role you will:
- Lead a team of four skilled philanthropy fundraisers (with direct management of two) to achieve an ambitious fundraising target.
- Personally manage a portfolio of donors giving at a transformational level.
- Embed strong stewardship and prospecting approaches to maximise opportunities and support the team to develop their portfolios.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Fundraising team and across the organisation to identify new funding opportunities, and lead on cross-Philanthropy initiatives.
- Work closely with senior leadership, trustees and St Mungo’s clients to take a strategic approach to major donor fundraising, being the organisational expert.
About you
We are looking for a proactive and driven individual with the ability to think strategically.
You will be an excellent relationship manager with a track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts, who will lead by example in stewarding your own portfolio of donors. You will have the skills and knowledge to provide support and effective line management that will consistently bring out the best in your team.
Overall, you will be dedicated to the overall aims and ambitions of St Mungo’s and working towards our fundraising strategy.
In this role you will be required to work flexibly with 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

We seek a Global Technical Lead - Social Inclusion and Mainstreaming, with expertise in addressing inequalities, to join our team of social inclusion professionals. The post-holder will be responsible for providing technical support in the design of new projects, the provision of technical expertise to ongoing initiatives and will also play a role in shaping the strategic direction of Sightsavers' approach to disability inclusive decision-making, gender mainstreaming, and supporting our policy and global advocacy priorities.
The Global Technical Lead - will support the Deputy Technical Director, Social inclusion in delivering Sightsavers' work in inclusive decision-making. This will include working closely with country office staff to deliver our West Africa portfolio of projects addressing inclusive citizenship and political participation (CPP). Inclusive democracy is an area of growth for Sightsavers, and the post-holder will have a significant role in contributing to growing the portfolio.
Principal accountabilities will include:
- Providing Sightsavers staff and our partners, technical leadership, support and guidance in the area of disability inclusion across our thematic area of citizenship and political participation
- Identifying the capacity building needs of Sightsavers' staff and partners globally to deliver social inclusion programming
- Working with Global Technical Leads and other teams to identify new strategic initiatives and innovative approaches in social inclusion including in fragile environments and promoting locally led development.
- Developing tools and guidance around disability mainstreaming
- Representing Sightsavers externally and strengthening partnerships with relevant stakeholders
- Working with fundraisers to generate additional financial resources.
- Contributing to the design of new opportunities
- Actively engaging in the Social Inclusion Thematic Group

This is an ideal opportunity for someone enthusiastic about leading our efforts in disability mainstreaming across a number of key projects as well as designing new programmes in the future. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Significant and demonstrable practical experience in a relevant field (social work/social inclusion; gender studies, disability studies, international development etc.)
- Knowledge of current issues and best practice in social inclusion, gender, disability and development
- Experience in social inclusion and rights-based programming in low-resource settings
- Experience in developing and adapting programme guidance tools and other resource materials.

About the role:
The purpose of the Fundraising Manager’s role is to develop the role and fundraising strategy of the organisation. You will support the CEO with creating the role, strategy, systems, and activities of income generation for the organisation. You will lead in securing funds from trusts and foundations through grant applications and develop the individual giving campaign as well as leading the growth and future development of new income streams from individuals, corporate partnerships, and other sources. About the Role
The Global Programmes & Philanthropy Advisor - Government Partnerships is a new role supporting MSI’s engagement and fundraising, primarily with European government donors.
MSI has both longstanding and significant funding, together with established relationships with European government donors and networks. We are seeking a proactive, pro choice fundraiser whose experience of European government donor engagement will enable them to build on these relationships and position MSI as a partner of choice for government donors. A critical part of the role will be identifying and supporting new funding opportunities within both our existing and emerging government donor base.
Working closely with the Associate Director, Government Partnerships, the Advisor will be engaging in:
Fundraising
- Support delivery of MSI’s ambitious 2023-2025 global funding strategy, including donor-specific fundraising goals
- Support MSI’s upstream influencing of existing and emerging donor government audiences with a view to increase resourcing and prioritisation of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) including contraception and safe abortion services. Work closely with the Programme Design and Development Team (PDD) to develop successful concept notesand proposals for selected donors, in partnership with other MSI colleagues
- Work with MSI regional teams and advocacy colleagues, and MSI country programmes (CPs) to identify key opportunities, messages and providing support to enhance country level relationships with current or emerging donors
- Work with colleagues across the MSI partnership to monitor donor policy processes and developments relevant to MSI, and support the development of internal MSI positions to ensure continued leadership of and alignment with the wider sector.
Donor Engagement
- Support strategic engagement with key governments and accountability for the implementation of the engagement strategies necessary to deliver against MSI’s global fundraising strategy
- Act as a conduit for transferring knowledge and learning from MSI’s programming both to donors partners across the sector, and from key European donors and the wider sector into the MSI global partnership.
- Work with the Associate Director, Government Partnerships and other MSI colleagues to identify and cultivate relationships with governments with whom MSI has not traditionally built successful long-term relationships, despite their interest in SRHR.
Partnerships
- Support colleagues to increase MSI’s international visibility and profile, through strategic engagement with national governments, NGO partners, and donor networks in collaboration with other teams in P&P, MSI’s Global Communications teams, regional teams and advocacy colleagues.
- Develop an effective network of partnerships and relationships for MSI across Europe to leverage and deliver technical, financial and other resources to support MSI’s global mission, including the development of partnerships in new sectors
Building County Programme Level Fundraising Capacity
- Work with Country Programme colleagues to identify funding opportunities at national level, including supporting with strategic analysis of and messaging for local donor missions for current, new and emerging donors
- Work with CP colleagues to draft and deliver engaging pitches and presentations to various donor audiences, and input into country level fundraising strategies and engagement plans

This role has particular responsibility for prioritising the growth and nurturing of the volunteer network, building relationships and resourcing our community volunteers within South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
Principal duties include:
- Promote the formation of more local groups, to encourage our community volunteers to meet and support and encourage one another in their efforts.
- Steward, develop and closely manage certain donor relationships where appropriate.
- Work to proactively create opportunities to share the Mary’s Meals story, with the purpose of inspiring action.
- Contribute highly creative ideas for new fundraising campaigns or initiatives and play a significant role in formulating and implementing approved campaigns in the local community.
- Support our community volunteers with resources to ensure our network is empowered and enabled, ensuring responsibility for the promotion of our campaigns and materials with our movement.
- Act as an ambassador for Mary’s Meals, representing the organisation at public engagements and supporter events – and, where necessary, delivering speeches or presentations to a wide range of audiences.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Major Giving and Partnerships Team to maximise opportunities with corporate partners in South London, Surrey, Sussex and Kent.
- Work closely with the communications team to promote fundraising stories and events and provide input into creative and engaging fundraising resources and educational materials.
- Research, analyse and present data which informs decision-making with Head of Supporter Engagement and other senior managers.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Corporate Partnerships Manager.

Role:
As an integral member of Street League’s Fundraising team, you will play a key role in managing an existing portfolio of corporate partners and supporting the Corporate New Business Manager to develop new partnerships. Working closely with the Head of Corporate Partnerships, you will be responsible for building strong relationships and enabling our partners to see first-hand the difference their support is making.
The role requires passion, determination and talent to ensure young people living in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities a brighter future through secure employment. This role sits within the Commercial Fundraising Team that currently manages an impressive selection of corporate partnerships including many household brands and FTSE 100 companies supporting Street League with funding, volunteering, awareness, and pro–bono advice.
We are ideally looking for someone with previous charity fundraising experience managing high value accounts, however this is not essential particularly if you have transferrable skills from the corporate sector. You absolutely don’t need to be sporty either - what is important is the ability to build strong relationships, have excellent organisational and time management skills and be motivated to deliver transformational, strategic partnerships.
Key details:
Salary: £40,150
Work pattern: 36.25 hours per week, Monday – Friday. However, part time, flexible hours or a job share would be considered.
Location: Hybrid with 1-2 days per week in London office.
Contract: Permanent
