Job description
Are you enthusiastic and motivated? Do you want to help make a positive difference in the lives of those we support to promote independence, wellbeing and recovery? Are you able to work flexibly? If so, we want to hear from you.

In our older person’s accommodation across Bath, Bristol and Taunton, our Relief Support Workers work as part of a larger Support team to provide support services to people, some with complex needs who are experiencing dementia, substance misuse issues and/or mental ill health.

You will be working days on an adhoc basis covering sickness or annual leave to provide a safe, secure and supportive service. You will support and monitor the conduct, health and safety and general welfare of residents with a flexible and sensitive approach.

These are being offered on a relief contract basis, working flexibly to include days as and when cover is required.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups and expect all colleagues to share this commitment. Appointment to the post will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.

To be considered for the role of Relief Support worker, you will:

- Ideally have experience of lone working
- Have the ability to assess and manage risk
- Be able to demonstrate the skills required to support individuals
- Be able to demonstrate and understanding of adult vulnerabilities in a supported housing environment
- Have the ability to adopt a methodical, organised approach to work.

If you are able to work flexibly, and have the above experience, we would love to hear from you.
