Job description

Do you want to earn extra money without committing to a full time job or a fixed rota?  Being a relief worker for Framework Housing Association would give you flexibility and the satisfaction of making a difference to the lives of homeless and vulnerable people in the East Midlands. The rate of pay is £9.84 per hour. An enhancement is paid between 22:00 hours and 7:00 hours. Our accommodation services are based in Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Long Eaton and Swadlincote in Derby, Lincoln and Lincolnshire.

We are looking for reliable and self-motivated candidates who have an understanding of the issues facing people affected by homelessness, and who can respond compassionately within appropriate boundaries.  You will be contacted by the ‘out of hours’ service to cover shifts at short notice, usually evening, weekend and night shifts. You will be supported by a designated relief bank manager and will be fully inducted into services within the geographical area that you are able to work in. Framework support a diverse population with differing needs and provide an excellent experience of operating in a complex multi -agency environment.  The flexibility of the role and the experienced gained is particularly useful to students with an interest in health and social care or social work.  We welcome applications from those people who want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Framework offer training in core skills and more specialist subjects which increase the standard of support being delivered.
