About you
We are looking for a skilled and experienced contract management professional with a strong understanding of third sector commissioning and service delivery. You will have a proven ability to manage and monitor complex contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and funding conditions. You’ll be confident in building and maintaining relationships with commissioners, funders, and delivery partners.
You will be highly numerate, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce clear, insightful reports that demonstrate impact, value for money, and continuous improvement. You’ll be comfortable working with data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and will support operational teams to address underperformance and drive service excellence.

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. All Employees are homebased meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the CEO, we are looking for an experienced charity finance person, with accountancy qualifications. (CIMA,CIPFA, CCAB, ACCA, AAT etc)
This a pivotal role and the post holder will be a member of the Trust’s Senior Management Team, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of the Trust’s finances, working closely with CEO and Board.
The role would suit someone who is motivated by the Trust’s purpose and who is good at building relationships.

Main responsibilities
· Alongside external accountant, manage the maintenance of the financial accounting system and monthly accounting processes (BACS runs, Expenses, Accruals, Prepayments, Deferred Income, Payroll etc)
· Review management accounts and liaise with accountants over variances.
· Lead on annual budget process
· Maintain and report on regular forecasts throughout the year
· Monitor individual programme funding to ensure all spend is within budget
· Lead on annual audit and creation of statutory accounts by external accountants.
· Distinguish between Restricted and Unrestricted funding to ensure compliance is met and classification is correct
· Support and advise budget holders in matters relating to the financial management of their departments

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and Planning, you’ll oversee the day-to-day financial reporting function, with line management responsibility for two direct reports. You’ll take ownership of cashflow forecasting, VAT compliance, payroll oversight, and contribute to month-end processes and system improvements.

- Manage the weekly cashflow forecast and reporting
- Oversee payroll review and VAT/Gift Aid submissions

We were founded in 2002 with a £20m grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and started life as a research group, the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative, within Imperial College London. Consistently ranked globally as one of the most cost-effective non-profit initiatives, we have received significant funding since our inception including from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), USAID and philanthropic investors.

Our main area of focus is the elimination of schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminthiases (intestinal worms). Endemic infections of these parasitic worms are found in some of the world’s most marginalised communities, and they can have a hugely detrimental effect on individuals, including:

- Impaired child development
- Reduced school attendance
- Increased risk of HIV in women
- Infertility
The role
This is an exciting role, to liaise and support partner organisations to ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, and up to date, coded correctly on UH’s cashbooks and reconciled against bank statements. You will also provide technical support to partners’ finance staff and train them on the use of the cashbooks and financial reporting to UH.
You will be educated to degree level and have basic speaking knowledge of the French language. You will have experience in a fast-paced and complex finance role. You should have experience of working with technical accounting packages as well as experience in financial planning and monitoring.

Contract: 12 months fixed term

As the national body for youth work, the NYA has a dual function. We are the professional statutory and regulatory body (PSRB) responsible for qualifications, quality standards, and safeguarding for youth work and services in England. About the Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead delivery of key Local Offer programmes, such as our successful Peer Review and Peer Network Programme, which are designed to support Local Authorities and organisations in meeting the needs of young people and in the case of Local Authorities meet their Statutory Duty (section 507B).
- Manage the delivery of traded services relating to Quality Standards and Organisational Development.
- Manage and regularly update both existing and new online resources related to Quality Standards, ensuring consistency and standardisation across all materials.
- Collaborate with the National Curriculum and Learning Manager to influence the youth work curriculum and share learning and insight from programmes
- Work collaboratively with the Youth Investment Fund Programme Manager to inform and develop Quality Standards.

- Utilise NYA tools, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Project Management systems, to generate timely and relevant performance and financial reports that support informed decision making and effective programme delivery. - Extensive experience working directly with young people across diverse settings, demonstrating a deep understanding of youth development and engagement.
