This role is referred to within the NHF as ‘Policy Leader’ but we have advertised, as ‘senior policy advisor’ because we think this is the more commonly understood phrase for a role at this level.
The National Housing Federation (NHF) is the voice of housing associations in England. We are the trade body to almost 600 housing associations – not for profit social landlords who provide 2.6 million homes to around 6 million people.
In this role you will shape and lead a long term programme of policy work on the services our members provide and their relationship with the people they house. This could include working with members and Government on implementing the proposals in the recent Social Housing White Paper, and working across policy areas including welfare reform, supported housing, health and homelessness.
You will work closely with our members and their residents, drawing on their frontline expertise and experience to shape and respond to government policy. And you will hold our relationships with high profile external stakeholders including senior Government officials. There is also the possibility of line management responsibility for one or more policy officers / assistants, and a chance to lead work across other policy areas as required.
You will be passionate about social housing and the role of housing associations in helping solve the housing crisis. You will have experience of shaping and leading a strategic and successful programme of policy work. You will be comfortable representing the NHF to senior stakeholders in Government, our members and elsewhere with credibility, expertise and political judgement. And you will be a strong collaborator, able to lead colleagues across the organization to deliver on our policy priorities.

We’re looking for an amazing email expert to join us in the Digital Engagement team at Alzheimer’s Society.

Digital Engagement Manager Requirements:
You’ll be a motivated, resilient self-starter with significant experience of email marketing and engagement, including designing, testing and delivery for a large and complex organisation.
You’ll have experience as an expert user of an advanced email platform (preferably DotDigital) and you’ll have the excellent communications skills required to inspire and upskill your colleagues.
You’ll feel confident using HTML, diagnosing and fixing basic coding issues within templates; but you’ll be equally at home delving into data and analytics, while conducting testing and segmentation to help the organisation improve.

Reporting Analyst Responsibilities:
The Reporting Analyst in our Supporter Data team will play a transformative role in turning raw data into informative reporting for internal and external audiences. Ranging from operational reporting to keep day to day activities running, to management dashboards, to KPI tracking, and some forecasting, this role will be at the core of providing the information required for the organisation, and in particular users of our Fundraising, Research & Influencing, and Marketing & Communications data, to be evidence based.
This role sits at the core of information provision for the organisation’s evidence-based decision making. By surfacing useful information otherwise hidden in Fundraising systems or systems used in Research and Influencing, or Marketing and Communications and other datasets, this role will develop and maintain core sets of standardised reporting as well as respond to ad hoc requests. Responsibilities also include defining and enforcing reporting definitions.
Reporting Analyst Requirements:
You will combine a number of skills in order to deliver value adding reporting to the business.
You will bring excellent business partnering skills to understand business contexts, goals, ambitions and horizons. Building the trust between you and those you partner will be a major factor is how successful the business will be in its use of reporting. Your strong interpersonal and interpretation skills will allow you to have open jargon-free conversations with the business. You can formulate emerging requirements through providing advice and co-creation.
You will have strong technical abilities including data manipulations, data visualisation, dashboard designing, UX skills, SQL as well as other desirable skills such as R and GIS to create engaging reports which allow users to instantly and intuitively understand complex datasets. You will also be able to employ Agile development techniques to rapidly produce prototypes and minimal viable products whilst accommodating a continuous improvement mindset.
You will have experience of strong governance to ensure reporting definitions remain stable between reports and prevent future problems with dissonant reporting. You know when to push back against overly bespoke reports whilst still providing the reporting solutions people need.

As Digital Marketing Executive you’ll form a key part of Muslim Hands’ growing Fundraising team. You will be at the leading edge of digital marketing, helping to share the good work that we’re doing with audiences worldwide.

Requirements of the Digital Marketing Executive:

Key Responsibilities:
Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across all major platforms (AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc.)
Managing the relationship with our digital ads agency. Ensuring campaigns are managed and targets are hit.
Set up, management and optimisation of social media ad campaigns.
Close monitoring and refinement of in-progress campaigns.
Regular reporting of results and lessons learnt to the Digital Manager.
Plan, initiate and accomplish market research to determine trends, customer preferences, industry brand awareness and product development.
Hit and exceed targets as specified by management.
To promote and adhere to all Muslim Hands’ Policies and Codes of Practices.
The essential skills:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a marketing environment with a proven, working knowledge of digital marketing and social media ad platforms.
Experience in creative ad copywriting.
An in-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Facebook ads.
Preferred experience:
Marketing degree/qualification preferred.
Experience managing advertising budgets across multiple platforms.
Google Analytics and/or AdWords certifications.
Experience working in the charitable sector.
Using Umbraco CSM system.
Work remotely:
Yes, but must have the ability to travel to our Nottingham office on a weekly basis when required.
