This role involves working across teams at Hindleap Warren, including Operations, Facilities, Finance, and Fundraising. There is regular collaboration with the wider London Youth team, including our other Outdoor Centre, Woodrow High House. Your efforts will directly impact the quality and reach of our outdoor learning experiences, helping more young people benefit from the unique opportunities we offer. About the role - what you will be doing
In this role, you will activley seek and secure new business opportunities while nurturing and maintaining existing accounts, ensuring a steady and growing stream of revenue. You will deliver outstanding customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of clients, including schools and youth groups. Managing booking processes and systems efficiently, you will ensure smooth operations and resource allocation in collaboration with various teams. Your creative input and support in developing and executing marketing strategies will increase brand awareness and attract more bookings. Additionally, you will assist in gather and analysing data to inform strategic decisions, contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs and services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing bookings and related paperwork using our booking system, Cinolla.
- Taking a proactive approach to new business.
- Responding to booking inquiries and contacting prospective customers.
- Coordinating with the Operations Team to ensure bookings can be resourced.
- Supporting the implementation of the Hindleap Warren marketing strategy to increase overall bookings.
- Managing key accounts to retain customers and reduce churn.
- Collaborating with the finance department to accurately process invoices, credit notes, and refunds.
- Promoting London Youth's policies on diversity and inclusion.
- Contributing proactively to the implementation of London Youth's mission and goals.
About you - what you bring to the role

- Proven experience in a customer-facing environment, delivering exceptional customer service across a diverse range of clients, managing communications, and resolving conflicts.
- Strong sales and new business development experience in either B2B or B2C contexts.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Job Description
As the Operations and Visitor Experience Manager, you play a pivotal role at CSC, with full
responsibility for our Centre in Cambridge Science Park and our secondary site, currently in
Wisbech.
An essential part of your role is to drive CSC’s direct revenue streams connected to the Centre.
You will lead your team in generating public and school bookings, and in overseeing community
audiences, private hires, and other groups, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and
welcoming experience. You will also take a proactive approach to increasing visitor numbers,
expanding CSC’s membership base, and researching and developing new revenue-generating
initiatives that strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Your expertise in creating and implementing exhibition spaces will be instrumental in bringing to
life our annual delivery calendar of science themes, which is strategically curated to attract and
engage our audiences while supporting the delivery of our Programmes. You will oversee an
annual budget covering the shop and site facilities.
You will work closely with the Outreach and Innovation Manager to prioritise, schedule, and
maintain products and content in line with CSC’s core Programmes and commitments, ensuring
impactful experiences for all audiences. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications
Manager, you will plan and execute advertising campaigns targeting both the public and schools.
You will also coordinate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for
corporate partners to support on-site exhibitions and events, ensuring agreed partnerships are
effectively tracked and delivered.
Beyond operations, you will champion excellence in STEM engagement, providing both positive
and constructive feedback to the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure CSC’s offerings
remain best-in-class. This is an opportunity to shape the visitor experience at CSC, ensuring it
remains dynamic, inspiring, and accessible to all.
Key Responsibilities
● Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors to our centres.
● Support and line-manage the Delivery and Sales Administrator and the Finance and
Operational Support Manager.
● Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across CSC sites, ensuring full compliance
with requirements at both centres. Implement corrective actions where needed, and
oversee training and incident management to maintain a safe and well-managed
environment.
● Achieve annual direct income revenue targets across Visitors, Membership, Shop, Schools,
Parties, and STEMtots (under-fives), track progress, report findings, and take corrective
action as needed.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor numbers and drive membership
growth.
● Research, plan, and execute new revenue projects to diversify CSC’s income streams.
● Oversee asset records, maintenance priorities, budgets, contractors, and expenditures
across the Cambridge and Wisbech sites, ensuring the effective sourcing and delivery of
third-party exhibits and content.
● Deliver an annual plan for exhibition-floor themes, events, and site management,
coordinating with the Outreach and Innovation Manager and the Engagement and Logistics
Lead to align activities with multi-year programmes, partner commitments, and internal
schedules such as training and exhibit maintenance.
● Establish a multi-layered feedback system to collect, analyse, and act on visitor insights,
continuously enhancing our offering.
● Oversee CSC’s volunteering and work experience programme, ensuring recruitment,
induction, and ongoing support are delivered to a high standard.
● Work with the Director of Business Development to identify and address barriers for
schools, supporting bursary applications and additional funding opportunities.
● In coordination with your team, ensure the shop is stocked with appropriate products to
maximise sales, support at-home engagement with STEM after a family visit and promote a
message of sustainability.
● Increase school bookings through strategic planning, aligning with schools’ annual planning
cycles, targeted outreach, and the effective delivery of engagement programmes.
● Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and deliver advertising for
exhibitions, events, and school engagement, ensuring effective promotion of activities at
both the Cambridge and Wisbech centres.
● Manage the budget and oversee all contractors and expenditures related to the Cambridge
site and Wisbech.
● Provide financial support, working closely with the Director of Operations and Engagement
to ensure CSC’s operational sustainability.

Working Conditions
The primary location for this role is Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge
Science Park, CB4 0FN; however, travel to secondary sites and the main office will be required.

The role of Retail Development Manager is crucial to the income growth and audience reach of The Children’s Trust retail function. The postholder will be responsible for researching, developing and establishing new income streams to reach new audiences and drive footfall for a disperse network of charity shops, including establishing the online selling of donated and bought in (New) goods; management of online and digital selling platforms and associated stakeholders, ensuring that all compliance requirements are fulfilled.

- Develop and manage risk assessments and associated online selling policy protocols to prevent reputational damage to The Children’s Trust through digital and online trading activities.

About you:
This is a terrific opportunity to play a fundamental role as Research Communications Manager at Muscular Dystrophy UK’s in developing and shaping our research communications ensuring the timely and proactive communication of our research impact.
- You will have a strong ability for explaining research and science to a lay audience.
- You will also proactively identify communication opportunities and ideas for engaging content to promote and publicise our research projects.
- You will work closely with teams across the organisation providing them with information about our research activity to support their work.
- You will manage the charity’s research information service, our Research Line.
- You will work with the Director of Research and Innovation and Director of Marketing and Communications to lead the development of our research communications plan.

Individual Giving Manager
Location: The role can be based at any of our three hospices (Norfolk, Ipswich, Cambridge) with hybrid working and travel between sites.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full or Part-Time, minimum 30 hours per week
Salary: £37,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)

An experienced Individual Giving Manager or Direct Marketing fundraising professional?
This pivotal role will deliver EACH’s new Individual Giving strategy focused on donor insight and analysis, ensuring financial targets are met across all areas through effective budget, project, data, and team management.
Do you have experience of:
- Campaign management with a demonstrable track record of achievement
- Effective strategy delivery
- Income and expenditure budget management
- Line management
- Project management – delivery of campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets
- Collaborative success from working with colleagues across departments
Responsibilities include:
- Analysing donor data and trends to understand supporter behaviour.
- Using donor insights to develop effective campaigns and stewardship journeys that engage current, lapsed, and new supporters.
- Delivering impactful digital and direct mail print donation campaigns.
- Managing one-off gifts up to £1,000.
- Overseeing our third-party Lottery partnership.
- Leading improvements in Legacy marketing and stewardship of in-memory supporters.
- Driving enhancements to our Regular Giving programme.
- Line managing and working closely with the Senior Individual Giving Officer.
- Managing income and expenditure budgets across all Individual Giving activities.

This pivotal position will lead the development and delivery of engaging fundraising strategies to support animal welfare and increase supporter engagement, contributing significantly to the organisation’s growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a long-term individual giving strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage and diversify a sustainable portfolio of fundraising initiatives, including multi-channel campaigns, appeals, and supporter products.
- Use data insights to monitor performance, optimise campaigns, and demonstrate impact to supporters and stakeholders.
- Design and nurture supporter journeys to enhance loyalty, retention, and growth across all income streams.

- Skilled in data analysis, with an ability to interpret insights to inform strategy.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, professional, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathetic and aligned with the organisation’s mission to improve animal welfare.
- Able to handle multiple priorities with organisation and attention to detail.
What’s on Offer
