Job Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
Staff are expected to come into their base office once per week. Staff are also able to flex their start and finish times between the hours of 7am to 7pm daily.

About the role
The Direct Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering high-quality direct marketing campaigns that drive income and engagement from individual supporters. Focusing on cash appeals and alternative gifts, this role will manage the planning, delivery, and evaluation of multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters to give, strengthen loyalty, and maximise return on investment.
About You
You are organised, proactive and experienced in delivering successful direct marketing campaigns across channels such as direct mail and email. With excellent planning and project management skills, you can manage multiple campaigns from concept to completion, working collaboratively with colleagues, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
You have strong analytical and numerical skills, enjoy working with data and databases, and use campaign insights to drive continuous improvement. Comfortable using Excel, Word and CRM or database systems, you're confident managing campaign data, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities to improve supporter engagement and response.
An excellent communicator, you have strong written skills and experience writing and editing compelling email and campaign copy. You build positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, working collaboratively while confidently managing priorities, negotiating deadlines and solving problems as they arise.
You're highly organised, able to manage a varied workload and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. You take ownership of your work, bring fresh ideas and a creative approach to campaign development, and are always looking for ways to improve results.
Ideally, you'll have experience within the charity sector, individual giving or supporter fundraising, along with an understanding of digital marketing, donor care and audience segmentation. Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful campaigns that inspire supporters and make a lasting impact.

About the role

Main Purpose of the Post
The Chief Executive will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the day to day running of the RLSS and all its services. This will include management of staff and ensuring the services are meeting the needs of those who require them, in addition to managing finances, membership and external relationships. The post holder will be accountable to and work closely with the Board Chair and its Directors to set the strategic direction and further develop the business model which will serve Religious Life Groups for the future.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership and Governance
· Provide visible, ambitious, and focused leadership of the RLSS.
· Be overall responsible for the management of the RLSS working in conjunction with the Chair and Directors to provide leadership.
· Lead and contribute to the Board’s overall development of the strategy and annual plans to ensure achievement of a One Church approach to applying the Church’s safeguarding standards.
· Ensure risks to the overall objectives of the RLSS are identified, mitigated, and reported to the Board.
· Develop a culture of resilience, adaptability, and continuous learning within the organization to navigate challenges and maintain trust among victims/survivors and members.
· Develop and promote services and practice improvements which are designed to mitigate risk and improve understanding within safeguarding.

Policy and Procedure
· Ensure a robust and up to date Policy & Procedure framework approved by the Board is in place including HR, Health and Safety, Data Protection and operational delivery.
· Ensure there is a system in place to review approved policies and procedures to ensure that substantial changes or additions are brought to the Board for decision.
· Undertake operating compliance exercises including annual risk assessments, health and safety checks and reporting on incidents and near misses.

· In conjunction with the Board of Directors, develop a long-term funding strategy, including gathering data, completing research, developing models to ensure the service is cost effective.
· Agree and deliver to budget maintaining a reserve level in line with policy and monitor all budgets and provide financial reports to the Board of Directors.
· Be responsible and accountable for all finances and resources within the teams, ensuring value for money, the avoidance of waste, and the efficient and effective use of all resources.

Role Description
The COO is the Cathedral’s principal member of staff and has responsibility for the overall operational performance and administration of the organisation, its assets and its people. Appointed by the Chapter and accountable to them through the Dean, the COO works with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement strategy and policy, ensure effective governance and compliance, manage the business functions of the Cathedral and monitor its overall progress and development.

Strategic Leadership

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual Giving

Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of individual giving efforts. Manage campaign setup, timelines, assets, and donor experience.

About the role
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director (MD) will provide both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring the organisation delivers its mission while remaining financially resilient, well-governed and responsive to the needs of the communities it serves.

Role Overview:
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our client on a fantastic Mass Participation Executive role. This position involves managing and developing virtual fundraising events, engaging supporters, and driving income to support the charity’s vital work.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end project management of virtual challenges, including planning, organisation, and delivery, ensuring successful outcomes and participant engagement.
- Developing and executing marketing plans, with a focus on digital channels, to maximise event participation and income.
- Coordinating the creation of marketing content, liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to produce accurate and effective promotional materials.
- Analysing performance metrics, preparing comprehensive evaluations, and providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Building strong collaborative relationships internally across fundraising, marketing, and data teams, whilst negotiating externally to secure value and resources.
- Managing supporter stewardship plans to foster loyalty, maximise gifts, and enhance supporter experiences.
- Overseeing volunteer support, including recruiting, training, and moderating Facebook Champions assisting with participant stewardship.
- Ensuring all activities comply with relevant regulations, including data protection and fundraising codes of practice.
- Monitoring sector trends and making recommendations to expand and diversify the virtual events portfolio.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in fundraising, supporter engagement, or event management, preferably within the charity sector.
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple initiatives on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and supporter engagement techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of producing compelling content and maintaining positive relationships.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess campaign performance and implement improvements.

In this role, you will deliver a strong narrative that breaks down the social barriers faced by people with sight loss, and champions RNIB as the leading sight loss charity. You will spearhead a strategic, creative and insight-driven approach to media, PR, corporate communications and celebrity engagement whilst also leading a strong reactive response to deliver against the external engagement roadmap and manage risk and reputation for RNIB.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead RNIB's media, PR, corporate communications and celebrity engagement strategy, delivering strategic priorities and strengthen brand credibility, awareness and relevance.
- Play a key role working closely with the Strategic Marketing team to align strategy, narrative and key messages to effectively attract, influence and engage priority audiences with the cause and charity.
- Build strong relationship with Insight and Policy and Campaigns to co-design insight-led strategies and shared approach to emerging issues.
- Ensure effective monitoring, measurement and evaluation of PR, media and corporate communications activity to ensure continual improvement in quality and reach.
- Oversee the continuous development of an effective engagement programme with celebrities and content creators to support RNIB’s work and increase reach and engagement with priority audiences
- Lead on a thought-leadership programme across multiple platforms, that strongly establishes RNIB leaders as credible experts.
Person Specification
- An experienced, strategic and motivational leader with clear vision and direction and proven ability to lead teams and work effectively with peers.
- Senior level experience in a senior strategic communications role, successfully leading external communications and reputation management within a complex / diverse organisation.
- Significant knowledge of the national media, consumer, regional and specialist media, a strong awareness of UK news agenda and emerging issues and media opportunities.
- Significant experience leading proactive and reactive media relations that deliver against strategic priorities and enhance brand reputation.
- Experience of providing strategic advice to, and influencing, senior stakeholders, including the handling of sensitive situations, which may have a negative impact on the reputation of an organisation.
- Experience of developing and leading complex and high-risk communications strategies.
- Proven ability to develop high performing teams using skills in recruitment, development, succession planning, change management and performance management.
- Strong communication, influence and negotiation skills and the ability to form successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, journalists and celebrities.
- Ability to plan over the medium to long term and deliver a rolling three-year plan, accompanied by experience of managing people and expenditure budgets
