Job Title: Corporate Fundraiser (London)

This is a newly created role, designed to strengthen our corporate fundraising activity and build impactful partnerships across the UK.

Summary of the Role

STOP THE TRAFFIK prevents vulnerable communities from being recruited, trafficked, and exploited. Our targeted prevention work disrupts the criminal business of human trafficking, making it too high-risk and low-profit to be viable.

This role will lead on our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). It will also lead on our data gathering initiatives, and on the development of our new product, the Safety Centre.

The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high quality, effective, leading on safeguarding as well as monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.

Summary of Responsibilities

Team Management & Leadership:

· Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.

· With support from the Director of Intelligence and Prevention, oversee the flow of intelligence resulting from prevention programmes, including the safeguarding of individuals at risk.

· Manage relationships with funders and partners.

· Manage data experts focused on bringing in high quality data to our Traffik Analysis Hub and leverage those insights to build effective prevention programmes.

About this job

The MS Society has made a huge investment in technology to implement a new CRM system to enable us to improve in use of our data and to streamline contact with the MS Community, including Services, Fundraising and directed communications. This is the Organisation’s key, central system.

90% of all funding for the charity is processed through the CRM system including Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits. This role is critical and responsible for the end-to-end processes working and, therefore, the income being processed and collected in a timely fashion.

The role will be part of a CRM team responsible for managing and supporting functionality and data integrity within the CRM system. The role is also responsible for managing key internal and external relationships at all levels.

The role is also responsible for delivering the 1st, 2nd line support of the CRM system as well as building import templates, workflows and that data within is clean, accessible and available.

Assistant Director of Operations
Salary: £72,000 per annum
Work Pattern: This is a permanent contract, working full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
Location: Your base can be at any of the 6 mainland UK Discovery Sites: Arundel BN18, Llanelli SA14, London SW13, Martin Mere L40, Slimbridge GL2 or Washington NE38. The 7th site is Castle Espie.

About The Role

WWT is the charity for wetlands.

This is a critical role in the recently restructured Operations Directorate at WWT. As Assistant Director, you will be directly responsible for the performance of our 7 Wetland Discovery sites. You will provide inspiring and professional leadership to your teams, whilst proactively collaborating cross organisation and externally.

Your focus will be on driving meaningful improvements at sites across our three ambitions of Restore, Inspire and Thrive, with emphasis on financial performance driven by visitor experiences. The RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch is seeking to increase its fundraising activity in order to secure the funding neccessary to completely rebuild the York Animal Home. We are looking to bring on an experienced individual to design, launch and lead our capital campaign and raise the remaining funds needed to complete the project.

The Capital Campaign Lead will take overall responsibility for planning, leading and delivering the £5m capital appeal over the next few years. This includes developing the case for support, managing campaign phases, cultivating major donors and funders, and ensuring strong governance, reporting and stewardship throughout the campaign.

The York Animal Home was built in 1980 and no longer meets modern welfare, licensing or operational requirements. Demand for our services is rising sharply, while the complexity and scale of cases continues to grow. We are at the point where our current animal facilities do meet our needs and have been working to redevelop the site and build new modern facilities.

We have received planning permission and are in the process of finalising the designs prior to construction beginning this year.

• Understanding of the Institute of Fundraising’s Code of Practice, data protection and other relevant legislation, guidance and good practice 

Essential Criteria 

• Proven track record of campaign management across Individual Giving, across both acquisition and retention methods. 
• Previous experience of creating supporter journeys that have reduced attrition rates and increased supporter engagement. 
• Experience of using supporter databases for audience segmentation and insight. 
• Experience of supporter (or customer) care and managing queries and complaints. 
• Good numeracy and Excel skills. 
• Understanding of the regulatory environment for fundraising, including data protection, codes of fundraising practice and Gift Aid. Not essential but please state if you have experience with Gambling Protection laws and regulations (including LCCP). 
• Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels, and to work independently within a small team. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.  
• A passion for fighting food waste and food inequality.
