About you
As our Face-to-Face Acquisition Manager, you will set the standard for brilliant, effective fundraising putting our supporters are at the heart of everything we do. To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Experience of managing the delivery of end-to-end face-to-face fundraising activity.
- Experience of task managing a team to deliver results.
- An in-depth understanding of the F2F landscape and different agency models.
- Experience of designing and delivering exceptional training to drive engagement.

Ways of Working
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK. However, for this role, you will be required to work from our Farringdon Office- London 1 day a week, some weeks this might be slightly more, some weeks could be slightly less Please note that travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense. The role requires you to regularly visit teams throughout the UK, costs of which will be covered by SCUK.

As Partnership Marketing Manager you will work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver the partnership marketing strategy, working to onboard and manage partners through whom potential and new smart meter adopters across both domestic and non-domestic campaigns will be reached.

Working arrangements

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now building a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, grow their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Trusts and Foundations, this role will work as part of a small but high department to deliver objectives and income targets. The role will deputise for the Head of Trusts and Foundations as required and support in the development of the strategy for the department, working across the organisation with colleagues, senior staff, trustees and external trusts and foundation contacts. A key focus of the role will be making bids and writing applications to maximise financial support from charitable trusts and foundations in a team which has a target of £1.15m in 2025-26, growing to £2.1m by 2029-30.
The ideal candidates will have a substantial background in Trusts and Foundation fundraising within the charity sector and experience of delivering excellent stewardship with external stakeholders. You will have experience of large scale and complex (£ six/seven figure) bid writing for specific projects over multiple years. Excellent and persuasive writing skills and a sharp eye for details will be essential alongside strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. We are seeking a compassionate, organised and proactive Bereavement Cafe manager to help children and young people who have experienced a bereavement. Working 15 hours a week across Dorset during term-time,you will plan and deliver Bereavement Cafes which are guided, age-appropriate group sessions that help children to process their grief in a safe and supportive environment.
Mosaic is a well-regarded charity which has a mission to provide specialist support to children, young people and families when they are struggling to deal with the death of someone close to them. This role is ideal for someone with a background in working with children and young people,counselling, bereavement support, art therapy or education. It's important that you're happy to drive to different schools during the week around the county to deliver the cafes, as well as planning the activities aross the term.
Mosaic wants to help equip school staff to support students who've been bereaved, and to enable them to understand more about grief and loss.
Key responsibilities
Programme delivery
Deliver bereavement cafe programmes in primary and secondary schools in Dorset, liaising with schools on timings and numbers of students.
Facilitate art group sessions (typically one hour) using creative, age-appropriate activities
Adapt delivery to meet the needs and development stages of the children and young people involved.
Co-ordinate a team of our exisitng volunteers to support each session, ensuring they understand the needs
School liaison
Build and maintain strong working relationships with schools across Dorset, managing requests for cafes.
Liaise wiht pastoral leads, SENCOs and safeguarding staff to plan sessions and identify students who might benefit.
Share practical tools and strategies with school staff to enable them to support students beyond the cafe programme.
Resource Development
·Create and maintain therapeutic activity plans and resource packs for both age groups.
·Develop tailored guidance and tools for teachers and support staff.
·Ensure all materials are inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed.
Safeguarding & Emotional Support
·Monitor the wellbeing of children and young people during sessions.

Person Specification
Essential:

The Direct Marketing Engagement team are responsible for engaging and developing warm audiences. It’s our job to do all we can to build stronger relationships with supporters, and we do this through an interesting and diverse range of fundraising activity. The role of the Direct Marketing Executive is a varied one. You will assist the Direct Marketing Engagement team, providing support on a wide range of programmes across a variety of channels.
The role will be responsible for supporting the wider engagement team by ensuring data and supporter engagement processes are running smoothly across campaigns. Alongside this, you will ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice is top of the agenda.
Fundraising experience is not essential for the role, but we are looking for someone with the desire and self-motivation to learn and develop, and the drive and passion to change the future for those affected by dementia. The successful candidate will be able to show this, be collaborative and enthusiastic, want to learn and develop, and be keen to get involved with the activities of the team right away.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Delivery
· Support with planning and delivery of a wide range of supporter engagement and fundraising activities, including regular newsletters, thanking communications, direct mail, appeals, raffles and telephone fundraising.
· Conducting call listening to measure fundraising quality and ensure compliance.
· Liaise with designers, printers, mailing houses, agencies and fulfilment houses.
· Support the day-to-day management of fundraising agencies and suppliers, ensuring relationships are effective and productive.
· Assist in the development and delivery of the supporter engagement programme.

The Marketing & Communications team is crucial to the success of the Almeida’s ambitious vision and the strategic priorities for the team include:
- Build and manage the brand of the Almeida Theatre across London, the UK and internationally.
- Take a strategic and data first approach to marketing and promoting the Almeida and its work in order to deliver income targets in excess of £3 million in ticket sales each year.
- Build and diversify the audience who experience our artistic programme and increase engagement levels among those currently least engaged in arts and culture.
- Engage with a significantly bigger audience than current ticket purchasers, curating a cultural conversation predominantly through the creation and distribution of digital content.
- Develop a segmentation strategy for audiences based on insights from our CRM system (Tessitura).
- Generate additional income from growth of the Almeida Membership and the promotion of auxiliary sales.
Key Responsibilities:
CRM:
- Lead on management of Almeida’s central CRM database, Tessitura, and act as principal point of contact with Tessitura for all system maintenance, development, and upgrades.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams to maximise the use of our CRM systems and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with the goals of the organisation.
- Ensure the CRM provides an effective sales funnel and is an efficient sales process.
- Work with the Box Office Manager to set up on-sales for new productions and events.
- Update the information and content in TNEW (online booking system), working Box Office Manager to ensure a smooth sales path.
- Work with the Development team to enhance our insight into current and prospective supporters. In particular, working to support Membership recruitment and retention, to encourage donations.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to produce audience segmentation strategies.
- Help troubleshoot queries or issues, related to Tessitura filtering those that cannot be resolved internally through to the Tessitura support.
- Provide support to all of the key departments within the Almeida which generate and use data, including set up of users, and provide training as required.
- Be a key part of the Almeida’s GDPR team ensuring all our data collection and processing complies with all current and future data protection legislation.
Sales, Insights and Data:
- Compile and deliver sales reports and analysis to relevant departments across the organisation, including senior and executive leadership, tailoring reports to suit a range of requirements.
- Monitor ticket inventory and introduce strategies for managing ticket holds.
- Provide up-to-date data analysis and reporting on marketing activities to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Use sales data analysis to advise the Director of Marketing and Communications on ticket pricing strategies.
- Manage our digital audience survey (Survey Monkey) and Arts Council data collection platform (Illuminate), collating and reporting on the results and evaluation of campaigns and audiences.
- Help guide the Almeida’s audience development strategy through customer research and data analysis relating to existing and new audiences.
- Support other departments with data collection and analysis.
Other duties:
- Be jointly responsible for the accuracy of all marketing communications, maintaining the theatre brand at all times, and advocating for this across the organisation.
- Support the Marketing Manager with digital advertising.
- Help to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase income from auxiliary sales such as merchandise and Almeida Café & Bar.
