Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to plan, develop and manage the Trust fundraising programme at Muscular Dystrophy UK, through the development and delivery of fundraising strategies

Applicants

The successful applicant should have knowledge of trust fundraising processes along with experience of fundraising from trusts in the voluntary sector and working with key grantmakers.

Expectation in the role

  • To continually develop and ensure the delivery of the strategic plan for the team to reflect the aims and objectives of the Charity’s overall strategy.
  • To recruit, train, motivate and support the team effectively to ensure they are able to achieve high performance, growth and development, as well as the efficient and successful delivery of trusts income, including regular 1:1 meetings, monitoring and reviewing performance against agreed objectives.
  • Monitor all current and newly-approved MDUK projects, working closely with the Director of Care, Campaigns and Support (CCS) to plan approaches effectively and liaise with relevant senior staff.
  • To play an active part in the development of the charity.
