We’re on the hunt for a Programme Manager to join us at this exciting stage of Settle’s development. Over the next few years, we hope to grow the number of young people we are working with and develop new services to support young people with a range of support needs.

The Programme Manager will report to our COO. You’ll be managing a team of Settle Coaches working on the frontline, delivering one-to-one sessions with care-experienced young people across London. You’ll use your skills to ensure that the Settle Programme is the best it can be, coach our frontline teams and ensure high quality delivery is maintained for the young people we work with.

You will work with our COO and wider Programme Management team to deliver and develop our safeguarding practice and ensure that the frontline perspective and young people’s experiences are embedded across the organisation. You’ll manage existing referral partnerships and help develop new partnerships as and when needed, as well as share best practice with the partners you manage. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in strategic projects across the organisation.

Working as part of the Helpline team, the Helpline Advisor’s role is to ensure that incoming contacts from our beneficiaries receive high quality, timely support when they need it. The role will be busy and varied, and each shift will involve responding to contacts across Beat’s different support channels including telephone, webchat, email, social media, and facilitating daily online peer support groups. The Helpline Advisor will work closely alongside the Helpline team who are currently all based remotely. This includes Senior Helpline Advisors, Digital Helpline Volunteers, the Deputy Helpline Manager, and the Helpline Manager. The New Business Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, and London Youth as a whole. What you will be doing 

• Prospect new corporate partners that align with our mission, vision, and objectives. 
• Secure partnerships that deliver against our restricted and unrestricted financial needs. 
• Build a personal pipeline of prospects at the five and six-figure level and move them through the funnel to hit monthly and annual targets and KPIs. 
• Collaborate with colleagues at all levels to develop dynamic, compelling, and winning proposals that meet the highest of professional standards. 
• Work closely with the senior team, board, and Fundraising Development Board to leverage connections and facilitate introductions to prospects. 
• Ensure first class stewardship of prospective partners to develop and deliver high-value long-term relationships. 
• Collaborate with and support the Head of Corporate Partnerships and the Senior Account Manager to ensure success across the wider corporate partnerships team. 
• Support on the development and delivery of team and organisational events, such as site visits and the London Youth Awards. 
• Ensure all information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner across all relevant systems and in line with all relevant processes and procedures, including Salesforce and Sharepoint, research templates, due diligence grids, contracts, and finance. 
• Utilise data to analyse performance, make informed decisions, and report in an accurate and timely manner to relevant stakeholders. 
• Contribute to the organisation and team's annual plans, strategies, budget planning, and reforecasts as appropriate. 
• Build your knowledge and understanding of corporate fundraising, the corporate sector, and the charity sector, to ensure you can position yourself as an expert and make informed decisions in your work. 
• Understand, support and communicate the vision, mission, and aims of London Youth, and the needs of young people and youth organisations. 
• Reflect our inclusive culture in your day-to-day work and support a positive health & safety and safeguarding culture in your interactions with colleagues, young people, and youth organisations.

What you bring to the role

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Proven track record of securing at least five figure partnerships in the charity sector or private sector, with an understanding of how to unlock six figure sums. 
• Ability to research, identify, and secure both unrestricted and restricted income. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience of developing compelling proposals and collateral - experience using Canva is a plus - and pitching. 
• Excellent relationship building and stewardship skills with ability to represent London Youth to a variety of stakeholders, including C-Suite level. 
• First-class knowledge of the corporate fundraising landscape and the wider charity sector, including the ability to spot trends and implement best practices. 
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritise a busy workload. 
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to produce accurate work of the highest possible standard. 
• Ability to get involved in various aspects of fundraising delivery if/when needed in support of colleagues. 
• Creative mindset to find new ways to engage and partner with corporates to raise funds for London Youth.

What the job involves

As the Project Manager, you’ll lead an innovative pilot designed to tackle late diagnosis of prostate cancer in Black men. Day to day, you’ll shape and deliver a regional model that breaks down systemic barriers to early diagnosis - from coordinating the unification of efforts to address drivers of inequity in prostate cancer to establishing a new bridging fund to support cross-sector partnerships. You’ll work closely with community organisations, Primary Care Networks and NHS stakeholders, bringing people together to build trust and drive practical, measurable improvements.

What we want from you

You’ll be someone who cares deeply about health equity and is motivated by making real change happen for Black men in prostate cancer. We’re looking for someone who has experience designing or delivering community‑based health projects and feels confident working across sectors to build strong, equitable partnerships. You’ll bring strategic thinking, the ability to turn insight into action, and the communication skills to engage, influence and inspire. You’ll be comfortable managing timelines, budgets and reporting impact, and you’ll bring a strong understanding of public health, health equity or programme management. Most importantly, you’ll champion inclusion, cultural sensitivity and our values in everything you do.

As this role is supporting our work in the West Midlands, candidates must live within, or no more than 30 minutes from, one of the following NHS Health Trust areas: Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Black Country, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, Birmingham and Solihull, or Coventry and Warwickshire.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

Job Purpose

The Charity General Manager is the Charity’s senior operational lead, responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day management and administration of Two Rhythms, ensuring the charity operates effectively, efficiently and professionally. This role combines hands-on operational management with a strong focus on income generation. 

The postholder will lead a small team of employees and volunteers, strengthen policies, processes and systems to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality service delivery, and be explicitly responsible for delivering an annual income plan and pipeline across grants, donations, earned income and events.

This role is for someone who learns quickly, thrives in a varied environment, and is motivated by making a tangible difference. 

Key Responsibilities

Income generation (annual income plan + pipeline delivery)50%

Explicitly responsible for delivering an annual income plan and pipeline, covering: grants, donations and earned income (paid sessions, training, membership).

·  Effectively manage grants and funding, growing partnerships with funders and overseeing regular reporting. 

·  Lead the delivery of the annual income plan across grants, donations, earned income and events. 

·Identify, pursue and secure new funding opportunities, including writing and coordination grant applications

·Support and coordinate grant applications and funding opportunities.

·Develop and maintain an income pipeline tracker, ensuring opportunities are progressed, deadlines are met, and reporting requirements are planned and delivered.

·Grow voluntary income (donations) through practical supporter processes and clear impact communication.

·Strengthen and streamline earned income by ensuring administration, promotion and booking/payment processes run smoothly for paid sessions, training and membership. 

Operations, compliance & administration

·Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the charity runs efficiently and professionally.

·Improve and embed systems, processes and ways of working that support a stable “business-as-usual” environment - This wording might be needed for ensuring new person works with the board. Thinking about change management process. Ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation by developing, implementing and maintaining appropriate systems, policies and procedures (including GDPR, Health & Safety and safeguarding).

· Prepare and submit reports to relevant regulatory and statutory bodies as required, including maintaining Charity Commission and Companies House information.

· Manage procurement and contracting of equipment, supplies and services (e.g., IT and office equipment), ensuring best value for money.

Finance administration & budgeting 

·Manage day-to-day finance administration using a finance platform, including invoicing, coding and maintaining accurate financial records. 

·Support the production of regular finance updates for the Board, including budget monitoring and highlighting risks early. 

·Work with Trustees to support financial planning and sustainability.

·Manage accurate daily management and board accounts bookkeeping with external partners and contractors

People leadership, governance support & impact reporting

·Line manage and ensure performance monitoring of the management team

·Manage colleagues, creating a positive, productive, supportive and safe working environment. 

·Ensure appropriate HR policies and procedures are in place, liaising with an external provider where necessary. 

·Develop a process to monitor impact and KPIs, providing regular feedback to the Board.

·Work with the Board to develop networks and relationships with stakeholders and support review of strategic plans.

·To uphold and champion the values of Two Rhythms.

Key Outcomes (first 6 months)

·Stabilised “business-as-usual” operations with clear systems, documented processes, and a reliable compliance calendar. 

·Timely and accurate financial processing, with Clear visibility of financial position through timely QuickBooks processing and regular board reporting (with risks flagged early). 

·An agreed and active annual income plan in place, with a managed pipeline across grants, donations, earned income and events reviewed regularly with trustees.

·Impact/KPI reporting implemented and used to guide decisions and demonstrate value to funders and supporters.

About the Position…

Our Senior Residential Manager and Responsible Individual supports the Head of Service in the delivery of the Trusts residential services for cared for children. You will oversee several services that provide support to vulnerable young people, working across a range of differing needs.

• Line-manage and support children’s residential registered managers to ensure high‑quality person‑centred care across all services.
• Ensure all registered children’s homes comply with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures, with effective systems supporting staff in delivering care.
• Act as the Responsible Individual for designated children’s homes or services.
• Lead quality‑assurance processes to maintain good or outstanding practice and clearly evidence outcomes for children.
• Ensure registered managers promote and safeguard the welfare and well‑being of children in residential care.
• Work with our People and Culture team to improve staff recruitment and retention, supporting managers with staffing matters including disciplinary, capability, practice concerns, and internal investigations.
• Promote the trust’s residential services externally, develop relationships with external stakeholders, support referrals and placements, and participate in relevant conferences and events.
• Ensure delegated budgets are managed in line with financial procedures and that each residential service meets income and expenditure targets.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Social Care Common Inspection Framework.

About the you…

Do you have the following skills and experience,

• Level 5 Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare of equivalent 
• Significant Children’s Residential experience as a Registered Manager or suitable equivalent, experienced in promoting high quality children’s residential services.
• Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and OFSTED inspection requirements.
• Extensive experience leading high-quality residential services for young people with complex social or health needs, understanding care planning, transitions, and leaving care.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with local authority officers and commissioners.
• Knowledge of leadership and management principles, including managing change and managing of service budgets, including income and expenditure.
• An analytical approach to report writing, continuing improvement of services and measurement of care outcomes.
• A full current driving licence – mileage will be paid at 45p per mile
• Up-to-date IT skills and the ability to use electronic recording systems (Clearcare) to improve service delivery.
• A flexible approach to work, including some weekend on-call requirements.

• Manage resident applications, fees, contracts and family communications, ensuring excellent customer care and responsive complaint handling

Abbey Community Centre works with people of all ages and backgrounds, with a particular focus on older residents and low-income families with young children. We deliver a wide range of activities, services and support including children’s stay-and-play sessions and drop-ins, fitness and wellbeing activities, befriending schemes, digital inclusion support, community meals, warm space provision, food support, volunteering opportunities and specialist outreach.

The role and its impact

As Centre Operations Manager, you will be the organisation’s senior operational lead on the ground. Working closely with the CEO, you will hold delegated authority for the day-to-day running of the Centre — ensuring the building, people and systems all work together to support high-quality community activity.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining practical problem-solving with people management.
