Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the greater West Midlands area and Wales. You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency. You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.

This role is based in region and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

We're recruiting a New Partnerships Manager to be responsible for proactively identifying, prospecting, and cultivating leads in key sectors to secure new 5-6 figure, multi-year corporate partnerships with local and national businesses.

What does this role do?
As New Partnerships Manager, you'll:

• develop a prospect pipeline to raise a personal income target which contributes to an overall team target,
• support the Senior New Partnerships Manager in the identification and cultivation of new corporate partnerships, accessing a range of income streams and budget holders,
• support senior team members in attending meetings with potential corporate partners, including preparing relevant briefs in advance,
• prepare relevant and creative applications and proposals for pitches for potential corporate partners,
• work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Team to ensure the transition between new business and account management is seamless for both Dogs Trust and the new partner.

First stage interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 16th and 17th March 2026, and will take place on Teams. Please note, this role is based at our London office, with office attendance at least one day per week and sometimes at short notice.

To be successful in this role you'll have demonstrable experience of new business development, ideally in a charity setting, with a track record of securing six-figure partnerships. You'll be organised, articulate and credible, with a real appreciation of different budget holders within companies who may be interested in supporting Dogs Trust, and an understanding of different types of corporate partnerships. In addition, you'll have demonstrable experience of senior stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and you'll have the ability to write clearly and concisely, and to tailor written style to the needs of different audiences.

• Lead the newly established Events & Operations hub within the Key Relationships team, managing and developing a team of two staff while actively delivering across both functions
• Plan, design and deliver high-quality donor-facing events, taking full ownership from briefing and creative concept through to meticulous execution and evaluation
• Deliver capital campaign ask events, donor networking events and supporter access moments for the key relationships team
• Work closely Team Heads to ensure events meet their objectives and are delivered to a high standard
• Work with Executive Directors to ensure they are well briefed when speaking at or attending events
• Lead on systems, infrastructure and compliance including CRM oversight, data integrity, GDPR, income reconciliation, forecasting, reporting and dashboarding in partnership with Finance and Data teams
• Oversee prospect research, pipeline management and performance tracking to ensure the operational backbone is in place for the Key Relationships team to be effective and drive income growth
• This is a hands-on leadership role that will actively deliver across events and operations while leading and developing others

Ideal skills and experience:

• Significant experience planning, delivering and evaluating high-quality donor or stakeholder events across in-person, hybrid and digital formats, with clear evidence of aligning events to cultivation and stewardship objectives
• Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, meet deadlines, maintain high standards of detail and manage budgets effectively
• Demonstrable experience working in an operations or support role, with responsibility for coordinating systems, processes and infrastructure that underpin fundraising or relationship management activity
• Proven ability to design, improve and embed efficient, compliant systems and processes, including gift administration, data integrity, income reconciliation and structured pipeline management
• Strong experience using CRM databases or similar platforms, maintaining accurate data, overseeing data quality and confidently learning new systems and reporting tools

About You

The Philanthropy Manager is a new donor-facing role, which will focus on expanding and strengthening a major donor portfolio to increase five and six figure income from individual donors and family trusts for Art UK. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. Working within an ambitious team, you will have the support of a freelance Prospect Researcher to identify new prospects, and the Development Manager and CRM Officer to develop donor journeys and relationship management systems. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a robust prospect pipeline through identification, research, cultivation and relationship-building to secure five-figure gifts and long-term support

• Manage and grow Art UK’s mid-level regular giving programme, strengthening donor relationships through face-to face meetings, events and personalised communication
• Develop donor development strategies, using CRM to analysis and identify higher gift prospects from existing donor pool and maximise giving potential
• Lead on major gifts for annual Big Give campaigns, identifying and securing keystone pledge donors, and leveraging networks to reach giving targets
• Create and implement, effectively and in a timely manner, development plans for each donor to retain and upgrade donors and document all activities in CRM Beacon
• Prepare and personalise correspondence and fundraising materials, including donor stewardship and reports, funding proposals and acknowledgement letters as appropriate
• Work closely with the Marketing team and other colleagues to showcase Art UK’s work and enhance donor engagement
• Organise and deliver events for major donors and prospects (with support from the Development team), including attending events where appropriate
• Support management of the American Friends of Art UK (launching 2026), including donor stewarding and events programming
• Support senior leadership and board members in the preparation and delivery of high-quality donor pitches to secure new philanthropic gifts
• Monitor progress against targets and maintain accurate reporting, including updates to Art UK’s Board of Trustees and the Philanthropy Board
• Ensure pledges and donations are processed efficiently and that donors are thanked promptly and personally
• Work closely with all members of the Development team to ensure prospecting and cultivation activity is aligned and complementary
• Ensure all philanthropic fundraising activity is conducted in line with legal, regulatory and ethical best practice e.g. GDPR and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code of Practice

Strategic Leadership & Income Generation

• Follow the fundraising strategy, developing and executing annual plans to achieve revenue targets and diversify income streams.
• Oversee the growth of Individual Giving, Regular Giving, and In Memory Giving, and Community Fundraising initiatives.
• Design and implement targeted fundraising campaigns, leveraging insights and KPIs to maximise donor engagement and income.

2. Team Leadership & Management

• Manage and inspire a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring objectives, 1:1s, and appraisals are delivered in line with HR policy.

• Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure high performance, accountability, and a collaborative working culture.

3. Volunteer Programme Oversight

• Oversee the ongoing development of the Hospice volunteer programme alongside the Volunteer Executive, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
• Work directly with clinical teams to align volunteer support with operational needs, guaranteeing smooth running of hospice activities.
• Ensure all volunteers receive regular feedback and adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Maintain and develop the programme in line with Investing in Volunteers standards.

4. Donor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

• Cultivate, steward, and strengthen long-term relationships with key donors, sponsors, community partners, and supporters.
• Support the delivery of fundraising events such as community fairs, and photography competitions, attracting large public support. Support the team during gala dinners and garden parties. Oversee the Events Executive in all areas of their role.
• Enhance the Hospice’s visibility and supporter engagement through partnership building and community presence.

5. Data, Finance & Compliance

• Ensure all donor and volunteer records are held and maintained under GDPR and internal data protection regulations.

The role

As a Senior Coach you will be working on the frontline delivering high quality one-to-one support to a caseload of young people across London. You will support young people to recognise and capitalise on their strengths by taking a coaching approach. You will work with young people who have been identified as having higher support needs and be proactive in taking steps to manage risk across your caseload. The Senior Individual Giving manager will lead a successful team to develop and implement the overall Individual Giving strategy. This will involve agreeing and monitoring annual individual giving income and expenditure budget and the postholder will deliver appealing stewardship programmes for supporters to include regular communications, personalised ticketing, and event opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, you will oversee the successful delivery and growth of the Friends and young Patrons schemes and will plan a regular calendar of engagement and cultivation opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in major donor fundraising, including building Essential relationships with high-net-worth individuals and securing five and six-figure gifts. They are looking for someone with experience of managing a team and a busy portfolio of generous donors.
