What does this role do?
As Head of Supporter Development, you will:

• Lead and transform how we engage with supporters, embedding a cultural shift and supporting teams to deliver on strategic objectives,
• Implement the supporter engagement strategy, including producing annual plans and a programme for regularly monitoring and evaluation activity, continuously improving the approach to enhance outcomes,
• Ensure all fundraising activities and products are audience led, using audience insight to inform decision making and ensuring high standards are upheld,
• Develop and manage budgets for supporter engagement activity.

We’re searching for a Financial Accounting Manager to take the lead on all things accounting: from ongoing accuracy on the general ledger to year-end accounts.

What does this role do?
As Financial Accounting Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for end-of-year accounts, working closely with colleagues and auditors to ensure all accounts are completed accurately and compliance is maintained,
• Maintain ongoing accuracy in the general ledger for UK entities, reviewing transactions and control accounts to identify and rectify errors,
• Ensure tax compliance, from reviewing returns to ensuring compliance in line with changes to tax legislation and guidance,
• Manage and coach the Assistant Financial Accountants, providing strong leadership, performance management and professional development,

About you 

You’ll be an experienced, confident relationship manager with a strong background in charity fundraising—ideally in legacies or supporter stewardship. You’ll bring: 

• Proven success delivering stewardship programmes and one‑to‑one supporter relationships 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for warm, compelling copy

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with care and attention 

• Sensitivity, empathy and confidence when communicating with supporters, including bereaved donors

About Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (JRCT)

JRCT is a grant-making Quaker Trust that supports people who are passionate about making a positive difference; whether they are advocating for some of the most vulnerable people in our society, promoting nonviolent responses to conflict, or taking steps towards an environmentally sustainable future.

Every year JRCT makes grants for all kinds of charitable work, from grassroots community groups to well-established charities working to build a peaceful and just world. About the Role

As Executive Assistant, Reparations, this role supports the Head of Reparations and enables the smooth administrative and support aspects of the Head of Reparations’ affairs.

You will support the Head of Reparations in the effective execution of the reparations projects, which will include coordinating project activities, maintaining meticulous project and workplan documentation, managing communication within the reparations team, with the wider JRCT team, and with external stakeholders. Your role will also extend to scheduling and organising meetings, maintaining clear records, and aiding in the organisation of project tasks. You will work in an administrative capacity to ensure that project deadlines are kept and deliverables are met. As the reparations projects will involve extensive work with stakeholders in Africa and thew Caribbean, familiarity with African and Caribbean cultures, as well as relevant multi-lingual and / or multi-cultural competencies will be essential. 

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office attendance once or twice a week. The position is fixed-term until  April 2029, with a salary of £47,814 per annum.

The role is for 35 hours a week, and we are open to flexible working patterns.  We try to schedule meetings to accommodate caring responsibilities. Someone working remotely would be required to come to the York office for up to four days per month and also travel to meetings with some occasional overnight stays.

Location:Hybrid working with some travel to Hearing Dogs offices in either Buckinghamshire or East Yorkshire.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is build confidence, companionship and connection for people with hearing loss, is seeking a High Value Events Manager to help create inclusive, inspiring and impactful high-value event experiences that deepen relationships and generate transformational philanthropic support for the charity.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now building a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to significantly grow and diversify income.

The Role

The Executive Director will provide strategic leadership, operational management and external representation for the charity. ● Knowledge and experience of fundraising, membership growth, partnership working and charity operations.

● The ability to inspire staff, trustees, volunteers, members and supporters.

Working Arrangements

This is a permanent role, offered as either:

● Part-time: 4 days per week, or.

● Full-time: 37 hours per week.

The salary is £50,000 per annum FTE, with part-time hours paid pro rata.

The role is based at Canal Wharf, Eshton Road, Gargrave, BD23 3PN, with some flexibility around working hours and location by agreement. Regular travel across the Yorkshire Dales and occasional evening and weekend working will be required. Ideally, the successful candidate will live in, or within approximately 30 miles of, the perimeter of the Yorkshire Dales.

We offer:

● 22 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after five years’ service, plus English bank holidays, pro rata for part-time hours.

● Additional paid leave over the Christmas and New Year office closure.

● An enhanced employer pension contribution of 5% via NEST.

About the role

As one of the UK's best employers, we are looking for an experienced and values- driven Recruitment Manager to lead the Together Trust’s talent acquisition strategy and end-to-end recruitment lifecycle. This is a key leadership role within the People, Culture and Digital  team ensuring we recruit the right people, in the right place, at the right time – while delivering an inclusive, compliant and high-quality candidate experience.

Reporting to the Head of Workforce Analytics & Operations, you’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, using data and insight to continuously improve recruitment outcomes across a diverse and purpose-led organisation.

What you’ll do

• Lead the development and delivery of Together Trust’s talent acquisition strategy
• Contribute up to date recruitment expertise and insights to the Trust-wide strategic workforce planning
• Manage and support a busy central recruitment team, role-modelling compassionate and inclusive leadership.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships seeking to understand their requirements
• Drive inclusive recruitment practices and remove barriers for candidates wherever possible.
• Be confident and capable in using data, benchmarking and workforce insights to inform decisions

 What We're Looking For:

• CIPD Level 5 and degree level qualification
• Confident using recruitment and workforce data to inform decisions
• Strong knowledge of recruitment systems, compliance and employment law
• Proven experience managing a busy and passionate team
• Advanced literacy and ICT Skills (ATS, Excel, SharePoint)

We have an exciting opportunity available within our Warwickshire Young People Services for the role of Service Manager.

In this role, you will lead and oversee our accommodation sites based in Rugby and Nuneaton, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs.

Our accommodation supports young people providing short‑term, accommodation‑related support that helps them build independence and move forward positively.

As Service Manager, you will champion best practice, provide effective leadership and supervision to colleagues, and build strong, collaborative partnerships with local authorities and housing providers. You will ensure that services consistently meet contractual requirements, performance targets, and organisational standards.

The role will also involve maintaining positive working relationships with partner agencies and producing accurate, timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

What will you be doing as Internal Communications Manager?

• Develop and deliver an internal communications strategy to support transformation and business priorities, reviewing current tools and systems

• Identify and implement new modern digital solutions for internal communications

• Creating engaging, clear and timely communications that connect and inspire staff across YHA’s network

• Managing YHA’s internal communications channels to ensure consistency, accuracy and impact

• Planning and hosting internal engagement activities such as briefings, webinars and Ask‑the‑Exec sessions

• Demonstrated success managing internal communications through periods of organisational change
