Utilising first class organisational skills gained in a customer-facing environment, you will primarily support approved Leaping Bunny companies through the independent audit process to ensure compliance and promote the development of the programme globally.

Founded over 40 years ago by Judy Ledger following the personal tragedy of losing three premature babies, we have since purchased many million pounds’ worth of equipment for maternity and neonatal units, produced nationally recognised reports and research projects, staged highly successful annual UK maternity safety conferences, and provided evidence-based, multi-professional training to reduce avoidable harm and death in maternity. Training is provided through Baby Lifeline Training Ltd, a not-for-profit social enterprise. Head of Communications & Marketing
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Baby Lifeline as Head of Communications and Marketing. You will play a critical role in supporting Baby Lifeline to deliver its important mission, leading the development and delivery of our strategic communications and marketing plan. Together, these will grow awareness of and engagement with our brand and increase donations.
Head of Communications and Marketing Responsibilities:
· Providing strategic communications and marketing counsel to the Chief Executive
· Devising results-driven marketing campaigns to grow our audience and drive charity donations and fundraising
· Devising creative media engagement strategies, leading on proactive and reactive media relations including press releases, statements, interviews, and enquiries
· Building relationships with relevant professionals and experts within healthcare, to help drive sign-ups to events and training
· Managing and influencing relationships with key external influencers, such as journalists, producers, and celebrity VIP ambassadors
· Overseeing our website and social media channels, developing creative content that drives growth, reach and engagement across channels
· Line managing a Digital Marketing Manager on the effective day to day delivery of website and social media activity; working with external agencies where appropriate
· Understanding what metrics to use as a measure of success, based on key objectives – and to report on these confidently
· Researching and evaluating the latest trends within the charity sector and using these to advance Baby Lifeline communications and marketing activity
· Advising and working with Baby Lifeline Training Ltd on relevant projects
As Head of Communications & Marketing, you will have:
· Experience in a similar communications or marketing role
· A keen eye for marketing design – experience creating social media assets is preferable
· Self-motivation and passion about the opportunities that can come from marketing, communications, and social media
· Strong written communication skills and copywriting capabilities
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· A degree in marketing and/or PR or equivalent is desirable
· Health/charity sector experience is desirable but not essential

Job Purpose
This exciting role will work with the Crisis Service Development Manager to oversee the operations of the crisis services and ensure compliance with contract requirements. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the everyday operations of the Crisis Cafes and line managing our Team Leaders in each location across Bedford, Luton, Central Beds and MK. The Crisis Cafes are an ever-evolving service, and this role will include implementing, delivering and managing new business and identifying and executing any service improvements across the locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operational Crisis Services Manager to oversee the operations of Mind BLMK Crisis services and ensure outcomes which support the contract requirements, specifically within the Crisis Café provision.
- Maintain an effective workforce for the crisis service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of managers responsible for the services and projects).
- Hold responsibility for maintaining an effective workforce which ensures 7 night a week delivery.
- Hold responsibility for health and safety and Safeguarding for the Crisis services in line with Mind BLMK’s H&S policies, procedures and guidance.
- Hold responsibility for the collection, updating, monitoring and reporting of service data in line with Mind BLMK’s contract and systems requirements and procedures.
- Deal with complaints from service users or other agencies as requested by the Operational Crisis Services Manager.
- To be a member of a Senior Manager On call rota (safeguarding and sickness reporting).
- Be responsible for the monitoring of the crisis service budget with support of the Operational Crisis Services Manager,
- Contribute to business development, funding bids, tenders and budget setting for the development of the Crisis service.
- Ensure crisis specific training is delivered to all crisis staff and monitor training needs amongst Crisis teams.
- To support with High Intensity User meetings and ensure all Crisis service users are able to access person-centred crisis support.

Job Purpose:To coordinate and deliver an exciting range of Short Breaks activity clubs for children and young people aged5 - 17 with additional needs and disabilities.
Hours of work:21 hours per week over 3 days - including one evening per week
Term time hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday/Sunday 09:00 – 17:00

Clubs run in Reigate, Epsom and West Sussex
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
