Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a well-established and respected national charity offering specialist and expert advocacy and peer support to families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to build upon and grow our fundraising success to date, in the role ofFundraising and Grants Manager. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function.

AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. Starting from a strong foundation with multiple opportunities for growth, you will lead on the delivery of our ambitious, multi-year, multi-disciplinary fundraising strategy with an annual fundraising plan agreed with senior management.  With keen funder and customer awareness, you will regularly monitor and review both the plan and the strategy, in addition to working closely with our Finance Manager to manage diverse income streams and achieve income targets to fund AAFDA’s unique support and advocacy work with families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse.  Holding responsibility for maintaining and developing the website and building social media programmes, you will undertake an ambassadorial approach in all activity to assist our CEO and Director of Services to lead and manage the AAFDA brand and corporate identity, with a focus on generating earned income, by extending awareness of what AAFDA does and how successful we are.

This is a permanent role, subject to funding, but we will work hard (alongside you!) to secure this.

As Individual Giving Senior Executive, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering multi-channel campaigns that inspire supporters to continue and deepen their relationship with the Charity. 

You'll manage a varied portfolio of appeals, supporter retention, development, upgrade, cross-sell and reactivation activity, working across channels including direct mail, email and telephone. From campaign planning and creative development through to analysis and reporting, you'll take ownership of projects that help grow supporter loyalty and maximise long-term income.

The Head of Grants will take a leading role in shaping The Childhood Trust’s grant-making approach. This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will manage the full cycle for our existing grant-making (Big Give) campaign and oversee a small team. The Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer is responsible for researching prospects, developing applications and managing deadlines to maintain and develop a strong portfolio of small and medium trust and foundation supporters, securing sustainable income for all aspects of The Brain Tumour Charity’s work in line with fundraising priorities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious team.

You will manage and maintain a pipeline of compelling and well-written applications and reports being submitted to small and medium trusts and foundations, ensuring excellent cultivation and stewardship of these relationships. You will work with a wide variety of people including funders, volunteers and colleagues across The Charity to gather the information you need. You will also research and identify new trust prospects, interpret funder priorities and carry out due diligence checks, updating our CRM database. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for an experienced trust fundraiser with a proven record of writing successful applications, achieving four and five figure sums and multi-year grants and stewarding these relationships. You will have the ability to develop detailed and creative proposals and supporting budgets, with excellent written communication skills, research skills and a strong eye for detail and accuracy. You will work well with other teams to gather information, be able to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritise your workload.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for identifying and researching trusts and foundations, conducting due diligence checks and building a pipeline of prospects whose funding priorities resonate with the work of The Charity.

• Managed by the Trusts and Prospect Research Manager, develop and manage a portfolio of applications and reports in accordance with deadlines and fundraising priorities.

• Submit relevant, professional and inspiring applications and project proposals to small and medium trusts, securing multi-year awards wherever possible.

About Us

For over 21 years, The Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre has offered free, holistic support to anyone in our community affected by cancer through complementary therapies, talking therapies, art, and our supportive community.

In 2025 alone, we had 1,911 individual visits and 1,021 therapy sessions - entirely through the dedication of our volunteer team. We are currently renovating our new centre, and we want to use it to reach further into our community than ever before. This is the first paid role in our history.

About the Role

As our first Executive Director, you will be the single point of accountability between our Board of Trustees and the day-to-day operation of the Centre - working alongside our (voluntary) Centre Manager and (voluntary) Volunteer Manager to support their roles, not duplicate them. You'll lead our strategy delivery, guide the charity's move into its new home, and oversee a service redesign informed by a fresh programme of visitor, volunteer and community research.

About You

You already know how to do this job - you've held a senior, accountable position in a charity or comparable organisation and can bring that experience from day one. Fundraising is central to CFAB's long-term sustainability, generating almost 60% of the charity's £1million annual income. 1. Strategy Delivery and Management

Working closely with the Deputy CEO, you will lead the delivery of CFAB's fundraising strategy, translating strategic priorities into operational plans that support sustainable income growth.

2. Trusts, Foundations and Corporate Partnerships

You will lead CFAB's trust and foundation fundraising programme, developing and managing a portfolio of funders, partners and supporters to maximise long-term income. You will prepare and oversee high-quality funding applications, reports and pitches, ensuring all funder requirements and deadlines are met.

You will also develop and manage corporate fundraising opportunities, identifying prospective partners, preparing partnership proposals and supporting the growth of corporate income as a strategic priority. Working alongside the Deputy CEO, you will help shape the organisation’s corporate offer and operate a shared account management model for strategic funders and high-value funding opportunities.

3. Relationship Management and Income Growth

Working with the Deputy CEO, you will lead the development and delivery of CFAB's stewardship strategy, strengthening relationships with existing supporters and creating meaningful supporter journeys for new donors. You will oversee donor communications, the supporter newsletter, and recognition processes, ensuring supporters understand the impact of their giving and remain engaged with CFAB.

You will also grow CFAB's challenge events programme, increasing participation, enhancing the supporter experience and developing challenge events as a sustainable source of unrestricted income.

Working collaboratively with the Deputy CEO, Digital Engagement and Outreach Lead, and Policy and Communications Officer, you will develop and deliver digital fundraising campaigns, including Big Give match funding campaigns, and a programme of fundraising events to grow and engage CFAB's supporter base.

4. Team Leadership and Fundraising Operations

You will line manage the Fundraising Coordinator, providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to ensure the effective delivery of fundraising operations.

You will oversee prospect research, fundraising administration, supporter stewardship, challenge events, Salesforce management and fundraising reporting, ensuring high standards of performance, accurate data management and effective collaboration across the fundraising function.

5. Governance and Representation

You will help prepare fundraising reports, pipeline updates, income forecasts and performance information for the Senior Management Team and Board of Trustees.

You will ensure fundraising activity complies with relevant legislation, the Code of Fundraising Practice, GDPR, Gift Aid requirements and organisational policies, maintaining the highest standards of fundraising governance and supporter care.

You will represent CFAB externally with funders, corporate partners, supporters and sector networks, acting as an ambassador for the organisation and helping to strengthen its profile, reputation and long-term strategic relationships.

6. Additional Responsibilities

As a member of the wider management team, you will contribute to organisational planning, continuous improvement and cross-organisational projects. You will identify opportunities to strengthen fundraising systems, develop new ways of working and support the long-term sustainability of the organisation. You will also be expected to attend occasional evening and weekend events, meetings and networking opportunities, and to carry out your responsibilities in line with CFAB's policies and relevant legislation.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The Head of Fundraising and Development role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape Woman’s Trust’s income strategy, develop new partnerships and play a central role in the organisation’s next phase of growth.

We are seeking an established income-generation leader who combines strategic and commercial judgement with a willingness to remain hands-on. The successful candidate will have a strong record of securing significant income, identifying new opportunities and building effective relationships with funders, commissioners and partners. The role will oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising strategy and funding pipeline. About BrainWaves Research

BrainWaves Research is a charity working to improve young people’s mental health and wellbeing through research, education and collaboration.

We bring together scientists, educators, schools and young people to build a stronger understanding of adolescent mental health and translate evidence into practical support. Our work combines a major longitudinal research study with evidence-based educational resources for schools.

BrainWaves is a long-term collaboration involving the University of Oxford, Swansea University and The Day News & Media. We are entering an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a proactive and versatile Fundraising Manager to help secure the sustainable income needed to achieve our ambitions.

The opportunity

You will lead the day-to-day delivery of fundraising across trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships and individual giving, developing new opportunities as well as managing and growing existing relationships.

The role may particularly suit someone with strong experience in one area – most likely trusts and foundations or high-value giving – who is ready to broaden their expertise across a mixed portfolio.

You will work particularly closely with our fractional Fundraising Director, who will provide strategic direction and support, as well as experienced specialists in major gifts and events, senior volunteers and colleagues across BrainWaves.

This is a hands-on role with significant autonomy. We are looking for someone proactive, ambitious and organised who enjoys turning strategy into action, building relationships, improving systems and hitting targets. Key responsibilities

Fundraising and income growth

• Work with the Fundraising Director and COO to deliver BrainWaves’ fundraising strategy and annual income plan.

• Manage and grow a pipeline across trusts and foundations, major donors, corporates and individual giving.

• Research and develop new prospects, partnerships and sustainable income opportunities.

• Prepare compelling cases for support, grant applications, proposals, presentations and donor communications.

• Take ownership of agreed income targets, deadlines and activity plans, monitoring performance and forecasting income.

• Manage funder and supporter relationships from initial approach through to reporting and stewardship.

Major donors, corporates and supporters

• Work with the Fundraising Director, trustees, senior volunteers and specialist advisers to identify, cultivate and steward high-value prospects.

• Build relationships with companies whose values and interests align with BrainWaves and develop appropriate partnership opportunities.

• Help develop our individual-giving programme, including appeals, regular giving and supporter journeys.

• Manage and improve our use of JustGiving and other digital fundraising platforms.

• Support donor and cultivation events, including prospect identification, communications and follow-up.

CRM, data and fundraising operations

• Take day-to-day ownership of BrainWaves’ CRM, ensuring supporter, prospect, donation and relationship records are accurate and up to date.

• Improve how the CRM is used for pipeline management, reporting, segmentation, stewardship and task management.

• Establish clear and consistent processes for recording and using fundraising information.

• Produce regular pipeline, income and forecasting reports and use data to identify opportunities, gaps and risks.

• Ensure information from JustGiving and other platforms is captured and followed up appropriately.

• Maintain high standards of data protection, fundraising compliance and data quality.

Collaborative working

• Work closely with the Fundraising Director and experienced freelance specialists in fundraising strategy, major gifts and events.

• Collaborate with colleagues across communications, research and operations to develop strong fundraising propositions and materials.

• Support trustees and senior volunteers in their fundraising activity.

• Attend occasional meetings and events, primarily in Oxford and London.

About you

You will be a confident and proactive fundraiser with strong experience in at least one income stream and an appetite to broaden your expertise.

You will be a persuasive communicator and excellent relationship builder, comfortable managing multiple prospects, deadlines and priorities. You will enjoy working in a small, evolving organisation where initiative is valued and will be effective working independently from home while staying closely connected to the wider team.

Essential experience and skills

• Experience of securing income within a charity, university, research institution or other purpose-led organisation.

• Strong experience in at least one fundraising stream, such as trusts and foundations, major donors, corporates or individual giving.

• Evidence of meeting fundraising targets or contributing significantly to income growth.

• Experience of managing prospects from research and qualification through to solicitation and stewardship.

• Excellent written skills, including producing persuasive applications, proposals and donor communications.

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills.

• Ability to understand complex information and turn it into a clear and compelling case for support.

• Experience of using a fundraising CRM to manage pipelines, records and reporting.

• Excellent organisation, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Desirable experience

• Experience across more than one fundraising income stream.

• Trusts and foundations and/or major donor fundraising experience.

The Fundraising and Communications Officer plays a vital and diverse role in the success of the Fundraising and Communications Directorate and London Youth as a whole. As well as taking on your own specific projects, you will offer support to the wider Fundraising and Communications Directorate across events, different income streams, and communications projects as we work to achieve our targets in excess of £3.6m. You will collaborate with colleagues, funders, and partners and meet youth workers and young people as we look to engage and inspire audiences in support of transformational youth work.

What you will be doing

• Support the Corporate Partnerships Account Manager to deliver challenging events, digital fundraising and volunteering. 
• Support the Fundraising and Communications directorate in the development and delivery of events, including the London Youth Awards, site visits, lunch and learns, Born Ambitious, and the AGM. 
• Support the Fundraising and Communications directorate in the development and implementation of a new income stream. 
• Support the Communications team on the development and delivery of on and offline communications assets. 
• Be the first point of contact for all fundraising and communications enquiries. 
• Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure all pages on our website are up to date, accurate and compelling, and position our charity as a credible partner of funders. 
• Undertake research on behalf of the Fundraising and Communications teams as appropriate. 
• Provide essential administrative support to the Fundraising and Communications Directorate. 
• Ensure all information is recorded in an accurate and timely manner across all relevant systems and in line with relevant processes and procedures, including Salesforce and Sharepoint. 
• Contribute to the team's annual plans, strategies, budget planning, and reforecasts where appropriate. 
• Understand, support and communicate the vision, mission, and aims of London Youth and the needs of young people and youth organisations.

Woman’s Trust is a leading mental health charity supporting women affected by domestic abuse. For nearly 30 years, we have provided free, trauma-informed counselling, therapeutic groups, and workshops to help women rebuild their emotional wellbeing. Led by and for women, we support over 900 women and children annually, with an income of £1.4m and a dedicated team of 40 staff.

We are seeking a Head of Fundraising and Development to lead our fundraising team and play a key role in our Senior Leadership Team. You’ll be joining Woman’s Trust at a pivotal moment, as we build on nearly 30 years of specialist expertise to meet growing demand, expand our services for women and girls, and extend our influence through training, research, partnerships and policy to create lasting change. As demand for our services grows, we aim to double the number of women we support annually, achieved in part through growing our income.

Women’s Inclusive Team is a community-led charity in Tower Hamlets. We work with women, children, young people and families, particularly those from Black, Asian and minoritised communities, to improve wellbeing, widen opportunities and strengthen local voices.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Fundraising Manager to join our Senior Management Team.

This is a senior, hands-on role combining charity finance with fundraising and income development. You will lead the finance function, strengthen controls and provide clear information to the CEO, trustees and senior managers.

You will also help grow and diversify income by managing WIT’s funding pipeline, identifying opportunities and contributing to strong applications, tenders, budgets and financial narratives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the finance function using QuickBooks and Excel.
• Produce management accounts, cash-flow forecasts, budgets and reforecasts.
• Strengthen reconciliations, journals, salary allocations, debtor monitoring and year-end processes.
• Maintain a central funding pipeline covering needs, opportunities, deadlines and gaps.
• Lead or contribute to funding applications, tenders, contracts and partnership bids.
• Prepare budgets, financial narratives and full-cost recovery calculations.
• Build relationships with funders, commissioners and corporate partners.
• Oversee grant and contract finances, reporting deadlines and audit trails.
• Advise the CEO, trustees, managers and budget holders.
• Line manage the Finance Assistant and improve systems and workflows.

About you

You will have:

• Strong charity finance experience, including management accounts, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, restricted funds and financial controls.
• Experience of month-end processes, reconciliations and debtor management.
• A successful fundraising track record across grants, tenders, commissioned contracts or partnership bids.
• Experience managing a funding pipeline.
• Confidence using QuickBooks and Excel.
• Knowledge of grant management, funder reporting and audit requirements.
• The ability to explain financial information clearly.
• Strong organisational, collaborative and line-management skills.

You do not need to have held an identical combined role, but you must show strong charity finance expertise alongside credible fundraising and income-development experience.
