Green New Deal Rising is building a movement of young people from every part of the UK to fight for a response to the climate crisis that transforms our economy to deliver a safe climate and a fairer society. As part of our multi-year strategy, we have ambitious plans to mobilise young people, disrupt politics, and force this government, and those that follow, to deliver transformative change. Campaigning will be central to this: shaping the narrative, escalating pressure, and converting people power into political concessions.

You will design and deliver impactful campaign interventions, both on the ground and digitally, and support our movement to do the same. You will be a creative thinker with strong written communication skills, good political judgement, and a desire to empower our movement to get onto the political agenda.

We're a small, agile team, and we all pitch in where needed across our campaigns and organising work. You'll own real responsibility early on, contribute to shaping our direction, and watch your work make an immediate impact.

The marketing and communications team is small but mighty. We help people find the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE), understand what we do and take the next step, whether that is applying for a programme, booking a workshop, coming to an event, becoming a partner or engaging with our work.

We lead programme recruitment across SSE. That includes campaign planning, email marketing, social media, web content, partner communications and applicant journeys. We also manage SSE’s outbound communications, making sure our messages are clear, timely and joined up across newsletters, press, stakeholder updates, programme promotion and wider brand activity.

It is a creative, varied team where the work moves quickly and no two days feel the same. You will work across the full communications mix, helping us turn ideas, stories and programme information into clear, engaging content that reaches the right people and encourages them to act.

PSTT’s long term vision is: Excellent primary school teaching in every primary school in the UK.

The goal of PSTT is to make science more accessible and attractive to children of primary school age throughout the UK. Research has shown that children’s interest in science is shaped before they leave primary school. That makes it vital for them to have a positive experience of science from their early years onwards.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans to maximise income from corporate partners and trusts and foundations There is huge scope to develop both income streams at PSTT as this is a newly created position with the responsibility for growing and further developing these income streams. 

This is an exciting role for a candidate who wants to grow and shape the income stream, and demonstrate their personal impact on generating income, and providing partners with an incredible supporter experience. There will be an element of change as the organisation embeds an internal culture that effectively supports fundraising. 

This specialist manager role would suit someone who is already operating at a senior fundraiser or manager level, or someone who can demonstrate experience of developing a corporate and/or trusts & foundations pipeline, creating operational plans and delivering income. PSTT is an organisation with big ambitions so a background that includes working within a smaller charity would be helpful for the candidate to have but isn't essential.

About you

You will hold a Level 6/7 qualification in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology or a related discipline, alongside registration with a relevant professional body such as HCPC, BACP, BABCP or UKCP.

You will bring significant experience working within crisis, mental health or psychological services, together with a proven ability to lead teams, manage risk and deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

We're particularly interested in people who can provide calm and decisive leadership, support others to perform at their best, and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement in emotionally demanding environments.

You will have:

• Significant experience within crisis, mental health or psychological services
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Advanced skills in risk assessment, safeguarding and crisis intervention
• Experience delivering psychological therapies and supporting or supervising clinicians

Working arrangements

This is a fully remote, UK-based role with occasional national travel.

The role includes participation in the senior clinical on-call rota, with a requirement to provide a minimum of eight weeks of cover each year. Occasional shift working may also be required to support frontline service delivery.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the frontline of crisis care, supporting members of the fire services community through some of their most difficult moments and helping them find a path forward. As a senior practitioner, you'll use your expertise to assess complex presentations, manage significant risk and provide immediate psychological support when it matters most.

About the role

As a Senior Psychological Therapist (Crisis Line), you will respond to individuals experiencing acute emotional distress, suicidal ideation, self-harm risk and other urgent mental health crises. Working remotely as part of a rotational shift pattern, you'll provide calm, focused and compassionate support through telephone, online chat and digital platforms.

Using advanced clinical skills and evidence-based approaches, you will assess risk, formulate safe and effective interventions, and support individuals to move from crisis towards safety and stability.

You will:

• Provide autonomous crisis assessment and immediate psychological intervention for people presenting with complex or escalating risk
• Conduct structured risk assessments and respond to suicide risk, safeguarding concerns and urgent mental health needs
• Develop collaborative safety and risk management plans
• Deliver support through telephone, online chat and digital platforms
• Contribute to clinical decision-making, escalation processes and safeguarding responses
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to support effective care pathways
• Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality clinical records

About you

You will hold a Level 5/6 qualification in psychological therapy, counselling, psychotherapy or a related discipline, or have equivalent professional experience, alongside registration with a relevant professional body such as HCPC, BACP, BABCP or UKCP.

We're looking for an exceptional campaigner to lead an ambitious environmental campaigning  programme for just over a year to cover maternity leave. You'll provide strategic leadership across the full campaign lifecycle, overseeing campaign planning, delivery, budgeting, resourcing and evaluation. As a member of River Action's Senior Management Team, you'll help shape the strategic direction of the organisation and contribute to organisational leadership beyond your own department. You'll work alongside the CEO and fellow Heads of Department to deliver our organisational strategy, embedding collaboration, innovation and impact across all areas of our work.

You'll also play a key role in securing the resources needed to deliver our ambitions. Working with the Head of Development, you'll help develop compelling funding proposals, inspire funders with our vision and demonstrate the impact of our work through robust monitoring, evaluation and reporting. Main Duties 

• Provide strategic leadership as a member of the Senior Management Team, supporting the CEO to deliver River Action's organisational strategy, theory of change and long-term vision.

The Refugee Employment Network (REN) is the UK's national network dedicated exclusively to refugee employment. We bring together employers, charities, local authorities, government and refugee-led organisations to improve employment outcomes and create a more inclusive labour market.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Lead to lead the implementation, rollout and continuous improvement of the Refugee Employment Marketplace and wider digital systems across the Refugee Employment Network.

The Refugee Employment Marketplace is a digital platform connecting displaced people in the UK with jobs, employers and employment support.

Working closely with developers, partners and users, you will help ensure the Marketplace is successfully implemented, accessible, adopted and scaled across Wales and the wider REN network. Team Overview
