Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

Create fun, interactive, and high-quality educational content for children and teenagers aged 5–18. You'll be developing engaging digital lessons, quizzes, games, and videos that focus on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness. This role blends creativity with impact—helping kids learn real-world skills while earning money through Life Hub’s Edu-Jobs feature.

Responsibilities include:

Designing videos, activities, and games aligned with our 360-degree learning model.

Researching best practices in teaching financial and entrepreneurial skills to young learners.

Collaborating with designers, subject matter experts, and tech teams to bring content to life.

Integrating gamification strategies like badges and progress trackers to motivate learners.

• Design and outline a transformational 4-week curriculum for early-stage nonprofit leaders

• Identify learning outcomes, key themes, and core program modules

• Research and recruit trainers, guest speakers, and facilitators who align with our values

Ace of Clubs (AoC) is an independent charity based in Clapham that supports individuals experiencing homelessness.  Each day we serve a hot meal to around 200 adults who are experiencing homelessness, adversity and hunger.  Alongside this we offer a range of other direct services including showers, clothing, laundry, health support and advice. 

This role is ideal for individuals looking to make a positive impact in the community while gaining valuable insight to the health/social care sector at a longstanding direct-service charity. As a Volunteer, you will mainly support our delivery of a high quality lunch service.

Duties include:

• Sorting through food donations
• Prepping and chopping ingredients for the lunch service
• Welcoming guests and signing them in at the front desk
• Serving hot lunch meals
• Serving coffee and teas to the guests
• Washing up plates, cutlery, and mugs
