About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the day-to-day operations of UWLSU’s food and beverage outlets, supporting an award-winning, student-led organisation. As Food & Beverage Outlet Manager, you will help deliver a high-quality service across our outlets, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and an excellent customer experience.

You’ll refine our service offer, support the delivery of catering for private and in-house events, and work closely with a team of full-time and student staff to create a welcoming and engaging environment. Whether leading a busy shift or contributing to improvements across our commercial operations, your work will directly enhance the student experience and strengthen our community.

This role combines operational leadership with hands-on service delivery. You will set high standards, empower staff, and ensure our outlets run smoothly, safely, and in line with regulations. If you’re an organised, people-focused professional with a passion for hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

You will oversee daily operations across multiple outlets, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service. Key duties include supervising staff, managing rotas and training, supporting stock control and purchasing, monitoring KPIs, and contributing to commercial improvements. You’ll help deliver catering for events, maintain compliance with Health & Safety and Food Safety standards, and engage with students and customers to continuously improve our services.

The working hours for this role are usually between 0730 and 1800, Monday to Friday on a rota basis but there will be occasional work outside of these times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Volunteer Officer to plan and deliver our new Volunteer Strategy. This role involves leading and coordinating our voluntary role holders across different roles and integrating with the wider work of the team.

We want someone who is passionate about volunteers and who will rise to the challenge set by our Chief Officer for all our work to have a clear fingerprint of volunteers demonstrated. The post holder will have latitude to develop a modern, exciting, and vibrant volunteer base and will work across the team to embed new roles which enable us to spread our reach further into the District.

We work closely with the local health and social care system to use our volunteer’s skills and lived experience to support Patient Safety Walkabouts and Patient Led Assessments of Care Environments (PLACE). We also have the power and responsibility to deliver Enter and View visits as a Local Healthwatch organisation. The Volunteer Officer will coordinate and oversee these activities to continue our successful partnership approach.

Purpose

To have responsibility for the Healthwatch Wakefield Volunteer Strategy. To lead on recruitment, co-ordination, and support of a diverse range of volunteers for Healthwatch Wakefield; including a ‘buddy’ system to help overcome barriers to involvement. To facilitate and maintain an activity and training record, and report on volunteer contributions on a regular basis. To remain up to date with relevant legislation and good practice in volunteering. To review and develop the roles available for volunteers in Healthwatch, working collaboratively with volunteers, contributors and the team.

General Overview

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

As the Therapeutic Team Manager, you will oversee the qualified and non-qualified therapeutic staff working across multiple teams.

We provide group trauma recovery, facilitated by Adult Therapeutic Practitioners, domestic abuse education, Children Therapeutic Practitioners, and specialist Counsellors. These offerings help people who have experienced trauma, like domestic abuse, to recover. We use a survivor-informed, peer-led model for self-advocacy, empowerment, and independence to help people through a person-centered approach.

As Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a psychologically safe and supportive environment for staff working in emotionally demanding roles. You will lead with empathy and integrity, ensuring team members feel heard, valued, and empowered to raise concerns without fear. Through regular supervision, reflective practice, and wellbeing initiatives, you will promote resilience and mental health, enabling staff to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse.

You will support teams to deliver consistently excellent support to people using our services, ensuring contract compliance, and drive continuous improvement and innovation in a changing landscape.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

This role may include evening and weekend work when required.

Key Responsibilities

To provide leadership, direction and support to practitioners including leading in recruitment, training, scheduling and supervising staff, ensuring excellent management of the team delivering domestic abuse support to high-risk service users.

On a day-to-day basis oversee the performance of practitioners and Senior Practitioners, acting as the main point of contact for the staff.

To line manage the Senior Practitioners and Counsellors, providing case management supervision, line management support, allocation of cases and ensuring all staff are supported to meet their full potential.

To continue the development of practitioners and counsellors into a cohesive and supportive team, through the use of open communication, team meetings and coaching. This will include developing the specialist therapeutic roles.

Additionally, to support the MARAC process and wider information sharing with statutory partners.

Ensure the services work to applicable accreditations and professional standards.

To promote a culture of engagement, improvement and best practice within the therapeutic teams, to deliver a high quality and accessible service.

To develop and maintain a culture and systems that promote trauma informed practice and equality within the therapeutic team, valuing diversity and offering empathy to victims of abuse, people who cause harm and violence.

To lead on reporting outcomes linked to the therapeutic team and the support of people using services.

Carefully monitor and evaluate the performance of the therapeutic team, with a focus on quality assurance.

Proactively build relationships with the wider statutory and voluntary partners across FearFree services, with a focus on supporting high risk adult victims of domestic abuse.

Actively network across the operating area to build the charity’s reputation and harness support for the organisation.

About the role 

You will ensure you and your team will deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being on your own caseload and to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. You will be dealing with personnel issues, providing professional support and supervision to your team, including but not limited to, independent file reviews (IFRs), time recording and good case management, as well as carrying your own caseload of housing litigation.

Contributing to the strategic direction of Shelter legal services nationally will be an important aspect of the role too, as will taking the lead on delivering strategic change aligned to Shelter’s strategy and ensuring Legal aid contract requirements and performance targets are met.

You will be able to identify test case opportunities to address systemic bad practice and so achieve change for a greater number of people and will work closely with the Head of Legal Services, the Hub Management Team and teams within Communications, Policy and Campaigns and Business Development. As a key member of the management team, you will also get to play your part in the management of our offices, including attending management team meetings and collaborating with other teams.

About you

You will be an experienced housing solicitor, court advocate, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience, have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law. You are able to carry out research and policy analysis in the areas of housing, homeless and welfare law, produce reports and presentations.

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities

One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.

• Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
• Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results

· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.

• Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
• Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
• Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.

• Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products

Are you passionate about delivering innovative services to support women who street sex work in Bristol? We are looking for an inspiring leader who can apply excellent service and people management skills, and who can build partnerships to achieve the best outcomes for One25’s service users.

One25 works with women who are trapped in street sex work, supporting them to move from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. It is a highly respected charity working with some of the most marginalised women in Bristol.

We do this through our night outreach service which is a lifeline for nearly 200 women on Bristol’s streets. Our Health Hub provides vital support for women to access health services and healthcare professionals. Our caseworkers offer intensive one-to-one care in any area of need: from support in court to finding somewhere safe to live.

One25 are recruiting a part time Service Manager to join a dedicated and passionate team who deliver high quality services to women. About the role

Reporting in to the Director of Finance and Corporate Governance, the Head of Technology & Data will champion the development, implementation, and use of information technology and data throughout Christian Aid, creating a culture of innovation and empowering IT users.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.

About the role

In this role, you will oversee the implementation, management, and delivery of all electrical, fire detection, door entry, lift, CCTV, and digital TV installations with the Council’s supply partners. STEP aims to support refugees and others who have experienced forced migration to overcome the complex barriers they face in preparing for and finding work. We work with individuals regardless of their background or proximity to the labour market, helping them develop the skills and access the opportunities needed to secure sustainable and meaningful employment.

We deliver STEP through both online and in-person programmes across the UK. Our work includes targeted support for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians, and people who have come through the asylum system.

Our flagship in-person programme is delivered in partnership with a network of expert local delivery partners, including local authorities and NGOs, to ensure high-quality, community-based support.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a maternity cover Programme Manager to lead the effective delivery of the STEP In-Person Programme, ensuring participants receive high-quality, accessible employment support within their communities. You will work closely with our network of delivery partners to ensure consistency, quality assurance, and participant-centred approaches across multiple regions.

You will be responsible for a wide range of programme and partnership management tasks, including grant and contract oversight, finance, data and impact reporting, capacity building for delivery partners, and troubleshooting challenges in delivery. · Demonstrable experience in anti-racism, anti-Islamophobia or migrants’ rights work.

· Strong knowledge of NI-based networks on equality, migrants’ rights, gender-related rights or similar issues.

· Strong research and writing skills.

· Experience advocating with decision-makers about human rights protections.

· Working knowledge of the peace process in Northern Ireland.

· Effective project and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and complex long-term projects.

· A strong commitment to equality, diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

· Convening and directing a network of groups interested in expanding and upholding the rights of peaceful protesters in Northern Ireland.

· Researching issues related to racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia in NI and potentially across the island of Ireland.

· Scrutinising Northern Ireland’s transitional justice processes, in collaboration with victims, survivors, families and their representatives.

· Reviewing legal and policy developments in Northern Ireland, making recommendations on strategic RSI interventions.

· Engaging with elected officials and other decision-makers on issues within RSI’s mandate.

· Any other tasks as designated by the supervisor or Executive Director.

We offer flexible working hours. This position is remote but will require occasional travel to meetings and events in Northern Ireland, as well as occasional travel to our office in London.
