Two Rhythms is an accessible arts charity that changes lives through music and movement. Utilising our unique, therapeutic programmes, we deliver long-lasting health and wellbeing benefits to people with profound disabilities, enabling expression, connection and joy.

We are looking for new Trustees to join our board and help lead the charity through an exciting new phase.

From our base in the Wales Millennium Centre, we welcome people of all ages with a broad range of physical and mental health needs. We support them with breathing techniques, massage, music, dance, and relaxation. Every session is unique and tailored to the needs of our guests. We love what we do and the difference we make. 

In late 2024, Two Rhythms opened and expanded to a second site in Cardiff, and is focused on growing its impact as well as developing its income generation potential, forging collaborations and taking advantage of new opportunities.

The board is particularly keen to hear from candidates with specialisms in Finance and Safeguarding though we welcome applications from all professional backgrounds. Knowledge of the arts and culture or health and social care sectors is advantageous but not essential. All Trustees are expected to advocate for the charity and our goal of enriching the lives of disabled people through music, movement, touch, light, and colour.

Safeguarding Panel Member
Volunteer role
3-year term

Location - The post-holder will be expected to participate in regular Panel meetings, held on a quarterly basis. Some meetings will be online, while others may be held at the Provincial Office at Callaghan Square, Cardiff or another suitable venue to facilitate travel by Panel members from across Wales. Expenses will be reimbursed to cover the cost of travel.

Hours - Meetings are normally scheduled for 2 to 3 hours. In addition, a further 2 to 4 hours reading time may be required to peruse meeting papers and casework in advance of discussion. Papers are circulated a week in advance of meetings.

The Representative Body of the Church in Wales is the national administrative body of the Church in Wales. We have an exciting opportunity for a Safeguarding Panel Member to provide independent scrutiny and expert advice in relation to Provincial safeguarding casework, including responses to concerns relating to clergy, church officers and employees of the Church in Wales, support for survivors, safeguarding risk assessment and offender management.

Additionally, the Panel Member will be required to review and make recommendations to Bishops made by Provincial Safeguarding Officers in respect of casework and safeguarding risk management.  (The committee does not hold decision-making responsibility for safeguarding concerns and risk management but exists to provide quality assurance of the response to safeguarding casework within the Church in Wales).

The successful candidate will provide strong, and informed advice to our organisation and bring a breadth of experience and specialist knowledge that helps protect our staff and congregation.  We are therefore looking to recruit a person with experience within statutory safeguarding organisations.

Rural Watch Africa Initiative (RUWAI) is a nonprofit organization working to empower rural communities across Nigeria through sustainable agriculture, climate action, ecosystem restoration, youth development, and community resilience. Our mission is to reduce poverty, promote environmental stewardship, and build climate-smart livelihoods in some of Africa’s most vulnerable regions.

Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Volunteer Communication Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to use storytelling, media engagement, and strategic communication to drive social and environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of RUWAI’s work. Create compelling content (articles, social media posts, newsletters, press releases, donor reports). Manage and grow RUWAI’s social media platforms and online presence. Support the design and dissemination of impact stories, campaign materials, and advocacy content. Liaise with media, partners, and stakeholders to promote RUWAI’s initiatives. Assist in organizing communication for events, project launches, and campaigns.
 

Ideal Candidate: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in social media management, content creation, or journalism. Knowledge of environmental and rural development issues is a plus. Graphic design, photography, or video editing skills are an advantage. We have 250 local groups which play a vital part in supporting people affected by MS across the UK. They provide sense of belonging, unity and friendship. And they deliver services and support for their local MS community.

We are looking to recruit a Group Coordinator for our Rhondda Cynon Taff inc. Merthyr Tydfil & Blaenau Gwent  group. As our local Group Coordinator you’ll take the lead in making sure your local group works as effectively as possible. You’ll recruit, induct and support other group volunteers to make sure your group’s activities meet the needs of your local MS community. In this role you’ll be able to develop your leadership, management, communication, organisation and motivation skills. 

Time Commitment

One Place London is a community interest company located in West London engaged in Acting for Film and Music Recording workshops for young people aged 14-25, unemployed or at risk of getting involved in crime.
