At MiMIAT Health, we are empowering heroes with chronic conditions. We offer a multilingual app (iOS & Android), already live across Europe and Kenya, that enables patients to track symptoms, diet, weight, and stool. Patients often lose ownership of their own health data, resulting in reactive instead of proactive care, late interventions and detections of flare ups, and preventable hospitalizations. 89% of chronic patients fail to consistently track their condition due to fragmented, manual, or incomplete tools, and 71% of doctors report that disconnected apps and records create gaps in delivering personalized care. In many regions, patients without smartphones or stable internet access are further excluded from digital health innovation.

MiMIAT Health addresses these challenges by creating a unified, patient-driven platform for structured health data aggregation, with mobile and SMS-based accessibility. We tackle the systemic inequities of chronic care access, digital inclusion, and health data sovereignty, aligning with SDG 3: Good Health & Well-Being.

MiMIAT Health is a digital health platform offering a free mobile app (iOS and Android) available in five languages, enabling patients to self-track key health metrics, and soon connect medical devices, and upload clinical documents — building their own continuous health record. By Q4 2025, we are also set to launch SMS-based access to reach digitally underserved populations.

Healthcare providers, with patient consent — particularly in primary and secondary care — can access this real-time data through our web platform, allowing earlier interventions and more proactive care. Legal and Compliance Lead (HealthTech)

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

At MiMIAT Health, we’re looking for a Legal & Compliance Lead (volunteer) to help us strengthen MiMIAT’s regulatory foundation as we expand across clinical environments. You’ll be joining a purpose-driven, fast-growing HealthTech project that centers dignity, inclusion, and patient empowerment. As we enter our provider integration phase (in Kenya and Spain), your guidance will be essential to ensure we’re compliant with healthcare regulations, GDPR, and best practices around patient data. We’ll also be drafting and refining our Terms of Service, Privacy Policies, and provider-facing documentation. You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO, helping build the ethical and legal scaffolding of MiMIAT Health across Europe, East Africa, and beyond.

�� What you’ll do? – Review and co-develop core legal documents (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, data consent flows) in line with GDPR and relevant data regulations. – Assess provider agreements and cross-border data flows, identifying legal and compliance risks early. – Design and refine compliant data-sharing practices between patients and providers, with a focus on privacy and trust. – Support MiMIAT’s privacy-by-design architecture, ensuring it scales responsibly across markets (Europe and Africa first). – Act as a regulatory advisor during conversations with hospitals, clinics, and public health institutions. – Be a sounding board for compliance strategy, ensuring our growth remains ethical, defensible, and future-proof.

Who we are

Founded in 1983, IPSEA is a leading national charity focussed on supporting families to ensure that children and young people with SEND receive the education they are legally entitled to. Since our formation, we have actively helped to improve the education experience of thousands of children and young people with SEND. We do this by providing free and independent legal advice and casework support, undertaking policy work and delivering training on the SEND legal framework.

Who are we looking for?

We wish to recruit a number of new trustees who are committed to our vision and values and who bring complementary skills to those of our current Board members.

Trustees are expected to gain an understanding of the organisation’s purpose, and to contribute their own expertise, ensuring IPSEA fulfils its objectives, and in accordance with our charitable objects and Articles of Association

Whether you’re an experienced trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level, we are particularly interested in hearing from people with expertise and skills in one or more of the following areas:

• IT / Digital transformation / cyber security
• Volunteer management
• Local Authority / Education
• Disabilities

Our Board should also reflect the communities we support. Purpose of the Role:

We seek a Web Manager (Unpaid Volunteer) to support our website upgrade, digital and fundraising strategy, manage WordPress sites, optimise user experience, and drive results through improved web performance.  You'll identify new projects to develop innovative products that generate revenue for the business.  This is a key role in which your expertise in digital marketing, web management, SEO and traffic conversions is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise WordPress sites: Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all web properties, optimise user experience (UX), and maximise conversion opportunities.
• Revamp donation system: Develop our new fundraising system using Stripe donations and ensure compliance to prevent scam donations and money laundering.
• Regular updates and improvements: Stay ahead by reviewing and updating web presence, emerging trends, and best practices.
• Develop and install a Membership system for people joining AHO. AHO is becoming a membership organisation to empower members to decide how AHO is managed and to generate income through membership fees.
• Build and develop an Online Shop. The first stage is a Virtual Online Shop selling project items instead of money, for example, selling bricks to build a hospital instead of asking for money.  The second stage is an Online Shop selling physical African foodstuffs, clothing, etc..
• Design and build health tools, such as BMI Index scales, health quizzes, medical screenings, assessments, and questionnaires, to enhance the website's interactivity and educational value.
• Expand and add new sections to the current website, such as the Projects and Impact sections, showcasing our projects and their impact through stories, videos, and case studies.
• Performance Optimisation: Enhance search engine rankings and overall website performance using expert-level SEO.
• Analytics and reporting: Track and analyse web traffic, sales metrics, and marketing data to measure success, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to the bus.

Wekume is a mobile app empowering university students in Uganda with accessible reproductive health services and personal development opportunities. Addressing barriers like stigma, misinformation, and limited healthcare access, Wekume provides features such as SafeChat for anonymous counseling, QuickTest for HIV testing, ARV Corner for HIV support, and circumcision awareness initiatives. Beyond health, it fosters youth empowerment through a business incubator model, mentorship, and fundraising tools to help students launch enterprises. Graphic Design Team Lead

Position Overview

The Graphic Design Team Lead will play a central role in conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the creation of compelling visual content that aligns with WEKUME’s mission and brand identity. This individual will lead a team of graphic designers to produce high-quality, impactful visuals for various platforms and initiatives, enhancing WEKUME's communication and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate between the Graphic Design Team and other stakeholders within WEKUME to ensure the success and visual consistency of all WEKUME communications. Schedule and lead design planning meetings before key campaigns or projects to ensure clear purpose, messaging, and visual goals are established. Lead the Graphic Design Team, exemplifying WEKUME values, to ensure fulfillment of the following responsibilities of the Design Team: Plan and execute the creation of visual assets for WEKUME events, campaigns, reports, and digital platforms. Ensure coordination with communications, fundraising, and programs teams to create cohesive visual content for joint initiatives. Handle end-to-end design processes from concept to final production, including image sourcing, layout, typography, and preparing files for various media (digital, print). Develop design project timelines and manage resources to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery within budgetary limits. Collaborate with the communications and fundraising teams to align visual content with strategic goals, donor expectations, and audience engagement. Ensure compliance with all relevant brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and ethical considerations in all visual outputs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Minimum 4 years’ experience in graphic design, with at least 2 years in a team leadership or senior design role, preferably within a non-profit or social impact context. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail in visual execution. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident working with diverse stakeholders including internal teams, partners, and beneficiaries. Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with video editing tools and digital asset management. Willingness to adapt to evolving design trends and tools as needed.
