The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. We seek a Finance Officer to join our small team. You will report to the Head of Finance to provide bookkeeping and accounting support for Global Dialogue and Global Dialogue Ventures Limited. You will use Xero and be responsible for many aspects of operational finance including maintaining accurate records in the organisation’s purchase and sales ledgers; processing accounts payable and receivable; bank and other reconciliations; supporting month, quarter and year-end closes; and resolving ad hoc queries.
This role is part-time. We are open to negotiating a working pattern that works for the successful candidate and for Global Dialogue.

Remuneration This role has been benchmarked at a UK salary of £33,000 (pro rata for a part time position). Maintaining purchase ledger:
- Review staff and consultant expense claims
- Reconcile monthly credit card and Soldo statements
- Help prepare for bi-monthly pay runs by reviewing bill postings, ensuring they have received appropriate approvals

The post-holder will play a key role within the Initiatives and Partnerships team, working with regional teams to develop and implement proposals to expand use of historic churches in our existing estate and, on occasion, working with other heritage and community groups to deliver their own projects via consultancy or partnership work.

Job Accountabilities
Complete fuel fund and voucher allocations as per agreed timelines.
Ensure projects operate with a sufficient number of sector partners, for example the number of housing associations referring into the fuel fund.
Monitor and review project reach and impact, using this learning to shape any new methods of delivery, e.g. pilots with other sector partners to reach new audiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to communicate the project opportunities and learning at regular intervals, contributing to the wider thought leadership and collaboration objectives of the Communities team.
Maintain positive relationships with project funder(s), by sharing project data in line with agreements.

- Operational Oversight and Delivery
- Lead and manage a small in-house operations team (2 staff members) and oversee the work of external consultants as required to deliver operational plans aligned with strategic goals.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom.
We are looking for a Data Officer to join our small, busy team and ensure the data we work with is accurate, complete and up to date.
CLAPA’s Data Officer is responsible for the day-to-day flow of data in and out of the charity’s various systems, including fundraising, marketing and service-use platforms. They ensure this data is captured, formatted and imported in a timely and accurate manner, and assist with data analysis to support everything from funding applications to decisions around organisational strategy.
