The role

At Cruse we believe bereaved people should not be alone in their grief. We provide expert bereavement and grief training and support.

Cruse has over 3,500 volunteers who provide bereavement support in a range of ways including answering helpline call, support through understanding your bereavement sessions, and one-to-one and group support. We provide a wide range of training for organisations and individuals, through grief awareness webinars and essential bereavement support training.

As a trainer at Cruse Bereavement Support, you will play a key role in equipping volunteers, individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge to support bereaved individuals. You will deliver high-quality training, assess learner progress, and contribute to the continuous development of our bereavement training programmes, both internally and externally.

Purpose of the role:

As Community Fundraising Officer, you'll play a key role in growing Sheffield Hospitals Charity's income, reach and relationships across Sheffield.

This is a role where you'll have real ownership, managing your own portfolio of community partnerships, self-led fundraising, collections and volunteers, while building new relationships and finding opportunities to grow support for the charity.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Income Generation

Work to achieve agreed income targets by developing community fundraising opportunities and relationships with new and existing supporters.

Lead community fundraising activities and campaigns, including Mince Pie Morning, ensuring they are well planned and promoted to maximise participation, income and engagement.

About the Role

Each year, we reach around 35,000 children and young people through the delivery of our Financial Education Money Workshops in schools, colleges and community groups across the UK. The Workshops are interactive, engaging and relevant, covering topics including budgeting, saving, borrowing, insurance, uni money and much more. Children and young people love having the chance to talk about money, ask questions and think about what they are going to do with theirs!

We are looking to recruit a member of staff to help carry out the day-to-day management of the Workshop content, resources and delivery through our freelance trainer network, as well as deliver some Workshops directly to children and young people themselves. The applicant will play a pivotal role in ensuring The Money Charity’s Financial Education work is carried out efficiently and to the best standards, with opportunity for in-role development and professional growth.

An exciting opportunity to help young people build confidence, connection and resilience through horses and life on our Skipton farm.  Following the success of our day visits, our residential programme will launch in January 2027 and we are looking for a horse specialist to join our growing team.  This unique role combines equine-assisted therapeutic work and hands-on farm life, helping young people see themselves differently.

What is Jamie’s Farm?  Jamie’s Farm is a charity that supports young people by combining therapeutic work, farming, and purposeful activities to help them thrive. More about the role:  You will plan and deliver engaging horse-based sessions for visiting young people, using an equine-assisted therapeutic approach to create opportunities for connection, reflection and personal growth.  As part of the wider delivery team, you will contribute to the shared rhythms of farm life, from feeding rounds and walks, to mealtimes, group discussions and occasional evening activities. Alongside programme delivery, you will lead the day-to-day care and welfare of our horses, maintaining high standards of husbandry, stable management and wellbeing.

About you :  We are looking for someone with strong practical experience of horse care, welfare and management, alongside experience of using equine-assisted work with children and young people. More about the role:  This is not a formal therapy or counselling position. As Therapeutic Coordinator, you will coordinate the therapeutic input for up to four school or partner organisation visits each month, holding personalised conversations with young people, facilitating reflective group discussions and working closely with visiting staff to ensure each child gets the support they need during and after their time on the farm.

You will also write personalised reports, contribute to daily farm life through walks, meals and shared activities, and act as the farm’s Designated Safeguarding Lead, helping ensure safeguarding practice is followed confidently and consistently. 

About you :  You’ll bring strong professional experience of working with young people facing challenging circumstances, with the warmth, curiosity and patience to build trusting relationships. You may come from youth work, education, mentoring, social care, pastoral support or a similar field, and will be confident supporting young people through reflective and relational approaches. Following the success of our day visits, our residential programme will launch in January 2027. We are looking for a skilled and organised Programme Coordinator to join our growing delivery team, helping to shape and deliver meaningful programmes that support young people to thrive.

What is Jamie’s Farm? Jamie’s Farm is a charity that supports young people by combining therapeutic work, farming, and purposeful activities to help them thrive. Through residential visits to our working farms, we provide a nurturing environment where young people can reflect, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to overcome personal challenges.

Known within the organisation as ‘Programme Coordinator’

More about the role: This is a varied and rewarding role at the heart of our programme delivery. You will spend much of your time working directly with young people, helping them engage fully in farm life through the shared routines and activities of the day, from feeding rounds and walks to mealtimes and evening activities. You will also plan and lead practical gardening and horticultural sessions, helping young people experience the purpose and satisfaction that come from meaningful work.

Alongside this, you will play a crucial role in coordinating up to 20 visits per year, acting as the key point of liaison with partner schools and organisations, from the point of booking through to meaningful follow-up support after the visit has ended. 

About you: We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience working with diverse groups of young people, with excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills. You will be able to build strong relationships with young people and adults alike across a range of settings, influence and motivate others, and contribute positively to the wider vision and goals of the charity.

You will have knowledge of gardening or horticulture and the confidence to plan and deliver engaging practical sessions with young people. Experience in a school, social work or similar setting would be helpful. Warm, patient and collaborative, you will be excited by the opportunity to contribute to farm life and help shape our developing residential programme at Skipton.

Education Workers are based at one of our IntoUniversity learning centres and work directly with young people, schools and families on a daily basis. It is therefore not a hybrid role and is based full-time in our centres

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Marketing Officer, you will report to our External Relations Manager, playing a central role in driving Get Further’s visibility and growth through maintaining our digital platforms and driving campaigns focused on forming and retaining partnerships.

You will help Get Further to reach more students by designing and delivering creative multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns that promote our tuition programmes, CPD and curriculum resources to FE colleges, training providers and councils.

You will also be responsible for the day-to-day delivery and maintenance of our digital channels, creating compelling written, graphic, photographic and video content, managing our website and email marketing, and using analytics to refine and strengthen performance.

Alongside digital delivery, you will contribute to our wider work by creating collateral for and supporting with the delivery of conferences and events, sourcing stories from the students and teachers we support, collaborating with our fundraising and recruitment teams on their campaigns, and supporting our wider team to deliver impactful and brand aligned external communications.

Key responsibilities include:

Marketing Campaigns & Partnerships

• Plan and deliver multichannel B2B marketing campaigns that attract new partners and support renewals, using social media (primarily LinkedIn), email marketing, letter campaigns and other channels creatively and strategically.
• Use audience maps, value propositions and key messaging guides to tailor content to our different audiences (FE colleges, training providers and councils), ensuring alignment with the Get Further brand.
• Lead the creation of high‑quality marketing collateral (leaflets, banners, videos, case studies, graphics) that strengthens our brand and supports direct sales.
• Support the planning and delivery of events and campaigns that showcase Get Further’s mission, impact and thought leadership.
• Use a marketing funnel to track and analyse lead generation and conversion, making data-driven recommendations that allow the marketing and sales teams to improve processes.
• Coordinate award submissions that raise the organisation’s profile, working with colleagues to compile compelling applications.

Digital Content & Platform Management

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, creative social media content and campaigns that advance our digital strategy and deepen audience engagement.
• Design engaging graphic and video assets using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and other tools.
• Capture high‑quality photo and video content of events and programmes in action.
• Maintain and update the Get Further website, using WordPress to optimise content, improve user experience and reflect organisational priorities.
• Support with the creation and publication of blog content, including drafting, editing, proofreading and uploading posts.
• Track and analyse the performance of digital content and campaigns, using analytics tools to generate insights and recommend data‑driven improvements.
• Play an active role in shaping our digital content strategy — identifying new opportunities, spotting trends in audience behaviour, and proposing creative approaches to strengthen engagement and reach.

Storytelling and impact reporting

• Support the promotion of Get Further’s impact reports through digital content and event delivery.
• Work with colleagues to source powerful stories from students and teachers, developing and ensuring all content aligns with our ethical storytelling policy

Branding & Team Support

• Assist colleagues with the design of external documents and assets, ensuring they are user‑friendly, professional and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Create and maintain written guides, templates, trainings and brand tools that help the team communicate consistently and confidently.
• Respond to internal requests for branding and communication support.
• Work with the Fundraising Officer to maintain an organised central library of storytelling assets, including narrative content, photos and videos.
• Support recruitment campaigns by creating content that showcases the benefits of working at Get Further.

Person specification

We are seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented and creative Marketing Officer who is eager to progress their career in education charity communications.

You will be a compelling storyteller who cares deeply about communicating the experiences of the young people and adults we support, and has a strong set of written, video editing and design skills that enable you to tell these stories with clarity and impact.

You will be ambitious to take on a leading role in driving our marketing activities, proactively generating and sharing ideas, and bringing a strong set of project management skills that enable you to take ownership on campaigns - from concept, to delivery to evaluation.

You will take pride in delivering excellent campaigns and eager to continuously learn and improve. You will have a critical eye for your own work, double and triple checking every aspect to ensure high-quality output, proactively seeking feedback and setting aside time to reflect and evaluate within a busy workload. You will be confident using data to understand performance and analytically minded in using insights to improve both your work and make recommendations for how the wider organisation can improve our strategy and processes.

You will be curious to learn about our organisation and audiences, proactively seeking opportunities to learn more about who we are and what we do so that you can communicate about our work to the highest standard and develop a coherent strategic vision for our marketing work.

Your strong time management skills will mean that you are comfortable working at pace and have the agility to respond to changing priorities and contexts.
