We take our trauma informed practice seriously, both with service users and within the organisation. We also run a successful Homecare service, with Care Workers taking care of vulnerable people in south Camden who draw on care.
This Young People’s Advocate role will give you the chance to be an integral part of our organisation. You will be working with the VAWG team to deliver positive masculinity workshops in Camden Schools. You will be engaging with boys and girls aged 12-17 years and to enable them their improved understanding of masculinity.

Location: Mainly based in a school but to also spend some time in the office (NW1)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting young people referred to Hopscotch’s programme in schools to safely explore positive masculinity.
- Listening and helping the boys to cultivate healthy attitudes and behaviours – towards each other and girls.
- Work closely with young people and the school to co-create each programme, with a focus on supporting boys to embrace qualities such as empathy, respect, and emotional intelligence.

What you’ll bring

- A recognised core mental health qualification plus specialist training in ASC/LD evidence-based therapies for children and young people

Hours: Part-time (7 hours per week)

Teaching
● Teaching the baking and food hygiene elements of the Luminary training curriculum to a high standard
● Taking responsibility for trainee learning and skill development – in collaboration with the Training Coordinator and Teaching Assistant

About the Early Years Assistant role
We are seeking enthusiastic bank staff to provide flexible cover for staff absences at our vibrant 59-place nursery, located in the Coin Street neighbourhood centre on London’s South Bank, just minutes from Waterloo and Blackfriars stations. As part of a dedicated team of educators supported by two experienced senior teachers, you will help ensure the smooth running of the nursery by assisting with mealtimes, activities, general care, and safeguarding the welfare of children. Our nursery is part of a wider Family and Children’s Centre, which offers holiday play schemes, activity camps, and a creche facility to support parents in training and development. Using our unique surroundings for real-life learning, we put each child at the centre of their learning journey. Cover will be provided on an ad hoc basis within our shift rota (8am–6pm).
This will be a zero-hours contract which means that there are no guaranteed hours per month - you may be requested to work on an ad hoc basis, and sometimes at short notice.

About the job
We are looking to recruit a Grants and Foundations Officer to join Caritas Salford’s fundraising team. You will be part of a team that is passionate about tackling poverty and inequality, where your work will have a real and visible impact. Your focus will be on maintaining and growing income from charitable trusts and statutory agencies.
As a Grants and Foundations Officer, you will work closely with senior managers and service managers, researching potential funders, securing funding from trusts, foundations and other potential funding partners. As well as building and stewarding lasting relationships that will help sustain and grow Caritas’ mission. We will support your development, helping you grow your fundraising skills, take on complex projects and help shape bids for commissioned services.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, strong research and analytical expertise, be highly organised and confident in using IT systems and digital tools for research, communication and data management. Additionally, you will have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, plus a willingness to learn from others about fundraising and social impact.
37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekends required.
