Job description

Part-time (2.5 Days - 18.75 hours per week)

Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (Full Time Equivalent)

This is a good opportunity for an enthusiastic community worker to develop further.

The Brent Centre is internationally renowned for its psychotherapeutic/ psychoanalytic work with young people, scientific publications and clinical research for over 50 years. It has helped thousands of young people to make positive changes leading to more stable and healthier lives. You will have the chance to work within an experienced and highly qualified clinical team, committed administrative staff and supportive Trustees.

The post holder would provide practical support to young people with complex needs and overcome barriers to engaging with therapeutic support.You will also provide advice and support to clinical staff to improve awareness and understanding of practical problems young people may be experiencing.

The post holder will be part of the in-house clinical services team and work closely with statutory and non-statutory organisations to support young people and help them to overcome the barriers that are impeding their engagement with therapeutic intervention. 

The applicant should hold an upper second-class degree in a relevant discipline. The Centre would support professional development.
