Summary of Role's Main Purpose:
Leads Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and owns planning & performance for the People Plan. Enables consistent SWP cycles with HRBPs, turns scenarios into prioritised actions and trade-offs, and maintains a clear, timely view of progress, risks and impact. Embeds simple routines and measures across HR so delivery stays on track and decisions happen at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) to guide HR teams in running consistent planning cycles and identifying future workforce needs.
Translate workforce scenarios into clear risks, gaps and options to support long-term decision-making and prioritisation.
Define and monitor critical roles and skills to inform build-buy-move strategies and shape People Plan actions.
Own the People Plan roadmap to track progress, manage dependencies and provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Prepare governance updates to present People Plan progress, support decision-making and ensure actions are followed through.
Work with Data & Insight colleagues to shape the questions, indicators and narrative that drive meaningful analysis and reporting.
Work with HR People Analytics Manager to manage dashboard development priorities to ensure reporting tools meet planning needs without duplicating effort.
Support HR leaders and workstream owners to interpret insights and take action that improves delivery and impact.

Job purpose
· To deliver Nourish in 40 schools in Hertfordshire (primary, secondary and SEND settings) over 3 years in a delivery team of two Project Officers and a Project Assistant.
Key tasks include
· Support with recruitment of schools to take part in Nourish
· Complete in person food audits in schools looking across the whole school day
· Support schools to create and deliver a food improvement plan (action plan)

Join our team as Director of Education, helping us to support teachers, champion great teaching and raise the status of the profession. The Director of Education will advocate for the need for a strong professional body and its importance to teachers and leaders. The role will articulate the vision and ethos of the Chartered College of Teaching and inspire and empower internal and external stakeholders and the teaching profession to achieve the vision. The role will lead the growth of three core income streams: Chartered Status, membership and funded projects, and will represent the Chartered College of Teaching externally and grow our strategic networks. The role will advise on the education content of our external communications. The Director of Education will work with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and oversee implementation of the organisation’s strategy and to lead the Education Directorate to deliver the strategy. In association with other members of the Executive Leadership and Senior Management teams the role will advise on partnerships, funded education projects, policy, events, publishing and content, marketing and communications.

Content creation and storytelling

We are based in Farnham, Camberley and Guildford, and provide bespoke, compassionate palliative and end of life care for people living with an advanced or terminal illness, across West Surrey and North-East Hampshire.

About the role
The new Director will:
· Provide inspirational leadership to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
· Ensure effective resource management and value for money across all activities.
· Build strong relationships with donors and partners.
· Advocate for Jesuit Missions’ beneficiaries and contribute to wider discussions.
· Forge strategic alliances with networks in furtherance of the vision and mission.
· Promote a positive organisational culture that reflects Jesuit Missions’ values.
Who you are
You will have:
· A demonstrable commitment to the role of mission and evangelisation of the Catholic church and an understanding of the mission of the Jesuits in Britain.
· Experience of working in the international development context.
· Experience of leadership for at least 3 years, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
· Strong networking, advocacy, and influencing skills.
· Collaborative, inclusive, and empathetic leadership style.
