About the Role

This is a key senior position within our organisation — ideal for a strategic thinker with entrepreneurial flair and the drive to deliver transformational results.

As Director of Income & Development, you’ll lead our income generation strategy, securing and diversifying funding across corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, individual giving, and commercial ventures. CPAG is seeking an AI Coordinator for a two-year fixed term to support our work in the responsible use of AI. In this role, you will lead on planning, delivering, and monitoring AI projects in collaboration with our partner organisations. This work involves the ongoing protection of CPAG's intellectual property and reputation as a sector leader. You’ll carry out regular evaluation of each project and regularly update stakeholders with performance metrics, user feedback, and impact assessments.

This new role also involves developing training materials and delivering sessions to upskill CPAG staff in AI technologies, with tailored materials for the needs of different teams. You will ‘own’ and maintain the relevant internal policy documents and processes for AI use and will oversee the use and optimisation of AI tools across the organisation. Alongside colleagues, you’ll manage risk and compliance (including legal and ethical standards) to ensure responsible AI adoption that is fully compatible with CPAG’s mission. You’ll monitor developments in AI, assessing new products for risk and opportunity, and share lessons learned across the charity.

We’re looking for someone with strong project coordination skills, experience of managing multiple stakeholders, and a keen interest in and experience of AI and emerging technologies.

High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Children, Young People & Families (CYPF) to join our senior management team and lead one of our core service areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a wide-ranging CYPF service that directly supports over 400 children and young people each year, and many more through partnerships. You will lead the newly redeveloped Tulse Hill Adventure Playground, ensuring it thrives as a hub for children, young people and families, alongside a portfolio of impactful programmes including school-based mentoring, young leaders’ programmes, family stay-and-play, and peer-led social action.

Supported by our Adventure Playground Manager and a team of youth and play workers, this is an incredibly exciting time for the service – the newly built structures, alongside a small animal area and a growing area, are ready to build an ambitious service around that meets the needs and interests of local children and families.

High Trees is also the lead partner in Building Young Brixton (BYB) – a consortium of 10 youth organisations working with 2,000 young people across Lambeth – which you will coordinate, alongside contributing to the Lambeth Peer Action Collective.

Our Head of CYPF plays a key leadership role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement. You will bring significant experience in youth or community work, with the skills to manage multifaceted services, lead teams, and build strong partnerships with local organisations, schools and statutory bodies. Brief role description:

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is responsible for what happens in our parks and open spaces on Saturday and Sunday mornings, for the community of volunteers who make this happen and for how we support participants and event teams with their requests and queries.

This role oversees all aspects of delivering and supporting parkrun events across the world, collaborating with global colleagues to ensure that parkrun events continue to be delivered in line with our principles of simple, scalable, sustainable and our promise that they will be free, for everyone, forever. 

This role will also have oversight of the effective delivery of our volunteer strategy and will ensure that our volunteer community and ambassador networks global continue to grow, diversify and thrive.

Also overseeing the Support team who manage event risk assessments and respond to range queries, the successful candidate will be responsive to the learnings from the Support team and translate them into new policy or practice.

Finally, as a member of the SLT this role will help shape and deliver parkrun’s global strategy, championing event delivery and leading cross functional projects. 

Main responsibilities:

• Sets overall global strategy for event delivery, ensuring that parkrun events are not only safe and accessible, but the barriers to event delivery are minimised and the parkrun event delivery model remains simple, scalable, and sustainable.  This includes:

  • Working with the divisional event delivery leads to ensure best practice is developed, balancing local context and global direction

  • Ensuring that divisional event delivery teams are appropriately recording, classifying, actioning, and monitoring event-related incidents

  • Responsibility for operational of the critical incident line, staff and volunteer rostering and training

  • Monitoring critical medical incidents and maximising the safety of participants through proactively reviewing practices and policies

  • Responsibility for creating and maintaining global event delivery guidance, policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that guidance is shared appropriately and that event team adherence is monitored.

• Working with the Global Volunteering Lead to: 

  • To oversee the implementation of parkrun’s global volunteering strategy, and to ensure that volunteering is valued, celebrated and supported as a form of participation

  • Provide internal thought leadership to drive the delivery of a cohesive approach and voice for volunteering activities across our global organisation 

  • Drive forward effective digital and in-person volunteer engagement and high quality support, training and development

  • Oversee volunteer associated policies and procedures

  • Engage with external stakeholders in the volunteering space to ensure parkrun offers best practice in volunteer engagement.

• Working with the Global Head of Support to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive support strategy that enhances our relationship with our community

  • Oversee the event risk assessment process

  • Continuously assess and enhance support processes to meet evolving needs of the parkrun community

  • Collaborate across the organisation to ensure seamless integration of support services into the overall parkrun ecosystem

  • Monitor performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

What You’ll Need

• Significant experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or a similar vulnerable client group, including knowledge of Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA) processes.
