The Role: Helpline Volunteer

As a Helpline Volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives, offering them a listening ear and a source of comfort during challenging times.

Our helpline operates from 9am to 9pm, 365 days a year, ensuring that help is always just a phone call away.

What Does the Role Involve?

  • Providing emotional and practical support to those in need.
  • Offering (links to) relevant information, resources, and literature to clients.
  • Assessing and enhancing the client's social support network.
  • Identifying and addressing additional requirements, including signposting and referring to other organisations.
